Jul 10,2021We recently had a new car which meant a new hoist . The car dealer had the hoist put in car without the the scooter being at the dealers which as we had explained to the dealer warehouse wrong. He said no it will be fine . Well the hoist wasn't wouldn't lift the scooter in when we went to collect the car. Amy, one of Des Gosling's staff came out to us to sort the hoist out. She was absolutely brilliant making sure both scooters would fit by altering the straps . She was very pleasant and chatted to us while she worked . Would recommend Amy to anyone .

Jul 09,2021The hoist fitted is excellent and in full working order , but I felt I had to chase them too much for questions and answers , hence wheelchair bought else where I got a better deal , you cannot rush these things it’s so important to the person it’s for , and to start with I did feel pressured , but thank you I’m happy now

Jul 08,2021Got a preliminary quote and then booked an appointment. Turned up on the day and staff were keen to find a good engineering solution to adapting a power chair they had never seen before. The solution arrived at works well but I feel that a little more time spent optimising adjustments would have been well spent.I do however understand that work schedules don’t alway allow this and I did say I was happy at the time, but use over time has revealed the adjustments to be sub optimal. Generally great service and very friendly people who genuinely want to do the best for their customers. I would definitely recommend them and will go back as and when the need arises.

Jul 08,2021I found Goslings to be most helpful in all the arrangements relating to the conversion of my car to hand controls. The fact that they carried out the work on my drive at home was most helpful as I was not in a position to visit their premises.

Jul 02,2021I required a lift for my scooter and Des came to the rescue. What a fantastic company, I did all the preparations over the phone, they tried and tested my make and model of electric scooter and car to see if it fitted (which it did) the mechanic was on time, he fitted it with no fuss or bother he showed me the controls made no mess and was totally professional. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Jun 30,2021Recently had a transfer plate fitted to our car. Extremely impressed by the high quality of both the product and the installation. The engineer, Chris, not only fitted the plate but he also adjusted the car door and took the time to demonstrate safe use. Altogether, brilliant service.

Jun 23,2021My car required a few adaptions to make it easier for me to get in/out and drive. Des found that he was unable to complete one of the adaptations, he called me and invited me to visit to discuss other options. I found Des and his employee's to be very helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone who requires adaptations and likes good old fashioned care.
