Apr 01,2022Matt refused to provide up front sample quote ranges for our age group. Their website provides sample prices for ages 30 - 50 only. He became accusatory and rude when we requested sample prices before handing over our confidential health information electronically. Buyer beware! This company has 10 complaints on the Better Business Bureau website.

Mar 03,2022Long time client of Diabetes Life Solutions, just wanted to drop by to say a few words. Have been doing such a fantastic job for me. This agency is really friendly and helpful, when I needed insurance, they were with me 100% of the way, always answering my questions and giving me advice. Last, I definitely believe I have the best rate here. I would highly recommend anyone that is reading this to give them a call, I'm sure they can save you a ton of money as they've saved me.

Matt is always available and able to answer my questions, he is patient and professional. I will always use him and your company as a resource to others simply because of Matt and how smooth he makes a process as important as life insurance go.

Nov 19,2021Matt Schmidt has a prominent form on his DLS website. If you fill out this form, he will e-mail you and text you the next day. If you don't reply within a couple days, he will call you from a private number and say harassing things in a strange voice like, "Get off the internet dumbass, quit applying for insurance, why don't you respond to messages dumbass." At least, that was my experience. I politely asked him about this via text, and he replied, "I only work with those who get back in touch with us in a timely manner. Unfortunately you do not meet our criteria to work with us." Again, this two days after submitting the form. From the other reviews here it seems like Matt has run a solid business for some time, but he must be going through some things personally and should take some time off before he runs that business into the ground. Approach Diabetes Life Solutions with great caution, unless you enjoy being harassed.

Nov 14,2021It's a breath of fresh air to work with honest people. I had spoke with other agents from Policy Genius, Select Quote, and Efinancial and everyone was providing fake information. Matt pointed this out, and then helped me locate the best policy possible for my type 1 diabetes history.

Nov 14,2021Very aggressive and interesting customer service. Received one of the most unprofessional emails I have ever read. “We're gonna go ahead and close out your file. This is due to you not being able to spend 15 minutes to complete a basic application. We're simply not a good fit for you as you have communication, and commitment issues. A place like Policy Genius or State Farm is probably better suited for you.”
