Apr 12,2023As a type 1 diabetic, I have been told life insurance is either not possible, or going to cost me an arm and a leg. Now that my family is growing, I can't imagine not having life insurance, so I did some research online and found multiple sources pointing to Diabetes Life Solutions. I was connected to Matt and had several phone calls with him as he guided me through the process every step of the way. Matt was not only patient, but he had the experience to answer any question I threw his way, and lay out all the options for me to chose what's best for me and my family. I respect that he was not pushy or trying to get me to buy into something that I didn't need, it was the honesty that I had hoped for when making a decision like this. Life insurance certainly isn't cheap for a diabetic, but I am confident that I have the best price and best plan available for me, and it's all thanks to Matt.

Apr 01,2023Matt Schmidt is a piece of sh_t. I ignored his messages after he declined my coverage and suddenly a few days later I began to get blocked phone calls(no caller I’d) and a weird voice calling me names like fat ass in a disguised voice, telling me to stay off of the internet and to stop looking for insurance. Told me to eat a salad. Lol, real funny sh_t. Then he messed up by telling me to learn how to respond to emails. You see, I never tried to get insurance from any different company, just him. He knows all of my information, name, address etc. it has been two Fridays in a row that I’m receiving these calls. I just decided to do a search of the company and found this page. Ironically someone else left the same experience and review as me. But I’m sure he’ll respond and deflect in true Matt fashion. Don’t work with this piece of sh_t

Feb 24,2023My experience dealing with Matt on obtaining life insurance was top notch in everyway. I new being type 1 diabetic for 45 years it was going to be a challenge to get any kind of life insurance but he made it surprisingly painless. He was very clear and straightforward about the whole process. Stuck to his word about times he was going to call/text. Very efficient getting any paperwork sent that needed to be read/signed. He treated me like a person/friend very nice to talk too. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for life insurance.

Jan 13,2023Matt and his team are invaluable! I don’t mean this because it’s nice to give a positive review. I MEAN IT! I am a healthy type 1 diabetic, brought on by things out of my control. It is really too bad that healthy diabetics have such a hard time obtaining life insurance. Matt is diligent, aggressive with the underwriters and gets the job done! For a price that wont break the bank. More than anything , Matt has brought me a smile and that deep breath of ‘piece of mind’ that we all want for our families. Matt - I truly thank you and appreciate you!
