Situated on the historic Liverpool/Bootle docklands, our premises is well-placed for access to Liverpool city-centre, both Liverpool FC and Everton FC, The M&S Bank Arena, Aintree Racecourse - the home of the Grand National Steeplechase - and the beautiful beaches at Crosby and Formby.

The property houses 20 en-suite bedrooms with the ability to house 1, 2, 3 or 4 individuals per room. The property also contains 3 fully equipped kitchens, all decorated and finished to a high-level of decor.

We can house hen and stag parties on our ground floor, which has 6 bedrooms and is separate to the rest of the property.

The worst hotel I have ever experienced, no lights , no electricity, walls covered in damp , one of lights basically falling out as you walked in , the ceiling was leaking in the corridor was turning in to a swimming pool felt like a death trap , tried to ring them , no answer at all or you would just go around in circles and no way to contact them , stay WELL CLEAR.

We booked this hotel as it was the cheapest one closest to the rave we were attending on blackstone street. We checked in afterwards and had a nightmare with the door, it was freezing & we couldn’t figure out why the door wouldn’t open but thankfully a lady who was in room 1 let us in as she heard us trying to open the door. It says to be patient but after putting the code in numerous times and the door locking again after two seconds, it must just be pot luck if it opens or not so would deffo recommend you getting that fixed or changed Upon entering the room was very clean and tidy but there was a strange smell, not sure if it’s from being on the docks but it smelt like stagnant water or over boiled sprouts (got used to it after a while anyway) But the room we booked was clean, fresh towels and bedding was put on, bathroom was spotless. Bed was very comfy and for the price for the three of us I would stay here again. The industrial estate is really quiet too, the only other struggle we had that was nothing to do with the hotel was getting a taxi from the event back to the lodge as all the drivers said the job wasn’t worth their time but in the end someone finally picked us! But overall 10/10 would just get an air freshener or something for the hallway & bathrooms to see if you can shift that smell haha

Perfect for what we needed. Basic and cheap. Clean, Definitely use again Only thing is room 1 folk knock on the window to be let in as the door is dodgy to open. Took us 7 attempts

Disgraceful communication, no check in details obtainable so no access to the accommodation. We had to book a hotel at our expense because the Dockside Lodge did not answer any calls, emails or voicemail. Hotels.com refuse to provide a refund because they cannot get hold of Dockside lodge. So all in all if you are happy to throw money away and not get any type of service then this is the place for you!! This accommodation should not be offered up to anyone if you are not able to provide the service offered. Absolutely abysmal.

Rooms were clean with plenty of hot water. There was a dripping sound from the floor above in the bathroom and a bit of a smell.

Arrived at the room, door was left unlocked, the please clean me tag was still on the door. The room had already been used and hadn’t even been cleaned before we arrived. The beds were unmade, hairs on the sheets, filthy bed sheets, smelt awful, towels were used and on the bathroom floor, damp all in the bathroom. Didn’t even want to sit down in the place, left straight away and went home.

Me and my friend stayed here last night, it was lovely and quiet, there was a strange smell when entering the building but that’s only because it’s located by the docks, and when you enter the room it’s okay. The room itself was lovely and clean and it was much much better than expected, we had a good nights sleep.

Good communication a nice room met the housekeeper she was very nice and helpful. As there is no reception you get a code for the room, all worked as it should. Brilliant cafe along the docks road 10ish min.

Dear Customer Services. My room was fantastic. Everything was brand new, including the lovely on suite bathroom at the Dockside Lodge. The entry codes that I was given were easy to use. The double bed was lovely and comfortable. The only negative was this. Regarding transport I had to walk to Sandhills Metro station at the weekend, about half an hour because the 136 bus did not run at all. There should be a bus service that runs at a weekend in a big city like Liverpool. The bus only ran for part of the day during the week. Simply not good enough for getting into the city without using a taxi. But my accomodation was first class. I give five stars for my accomodation. Well done on the accomodation and facilities. The kitchen was well appointed with items also. Thank you so much for a very pleasant stay. Kindest Regards. Leesen Moore

The whole building stank of drains. I’d have rather slept in a tent.

Great stay clean and tidy as long as you don’t mind no staff at the property which is no problem. The housekeeper was there at one point and she was very helpful.

Left the premises due to the dirt and smell of the accommodation, have emailed both booking.com and the dockside but no response yet from them. I have requested a refund for the 2 nd night but would prefer not to pay anything for what was a horrible experience. Please look into this matter and get back to me ASAP, thank you

Room was not cleaned when I arrived. Wet towels on the floor, poo in the toilet, used bedding.. had to sleep in it. No response until it was almost midnight. They cleaned the room the 2nd day but that night the alarm kept going off keeping everyone in the building awake.

Excellent value. Clean, comfortable and well maintained. The only niggles were the hand basin tap which projects water at you in a stream over the edge of the sink (a change of tap might be a good idea), no additional security for the door to the room like a door chain and the upper landing light in the stairwell only switches the light on when you reach the top of the stairs. Would stay again the next time I am on a night out in Liverpool.

There are false fire alarms beeping on and off 3 times in a row during midnight. It disturbs my little one sleeping schedule
