In the 4 weeks that DPOM had control of my Google Ads account, my lead submissions dropped from 108 per month (average) to 21. The average cost of a lead submission went from £9.44 to over £50. DPOM defended this by stating that it takes 3 months to see improvements. Whilst I fully accept that it takes time to see improvements, I certainly did not expect their involvement to massively reduce my lead submissions and increase my cost per lead by 540%! Response to DPOM reply below: Disappointing but unsurprising that you have chosen to lie about my data. I have provided evidence which clearly shows that my cost per lead submission was £9.44 from Jan to May. It was never £80 and you know this, yet you are continuing to falsify the data. The month of May when you were in charge it leapt from £9.44 to to £51 per lead submission. Since I took back control in June and worked with the team at Google I have got it back down to £20. The incorrectly installed tagging that you mention was due to my account manager confirming to me on several occasions that it had been installed correctly.

Disappointing service. I took out a Google ads package and the service from the account managers was awful. They didn’t contact me - I had to chase them continuously. I wasn’t given monthly meetings and any information I received was complete guesswork. Complaints were made but DPOM’s responses were always corporate and superficial (like the reply below). Be warned great advertising - poor service. Used a different email address to remain anonymous.

We've been with DPOM for a few months now, and our Google Ads has been performing much better than when we we're managing it ourselves. We're a niche area and difficult to advertise and even on their basic plan DPOM, and our consultant Patrick, have been doing great work. I recently had the pleasure of working with DPOM for their Google Ads management service and I cannot recommend them enough! Early days but so far the service has been good. Onboarding is good and made me feel they are making an effort to understand my business. I'll update this review once my Google Ads have been running a bit longer and I've experienced their service a bit more. I do appreciate their transparency and they do manage expectations probably a bit too much if I'm being honest, I'm a sensible person I don't need to be told there aren't guarentees etc but I understand why they do this.
I have little experience in Google Ads. I had a phone call with Lee to discuss how to optimise our Google Ads Budget and potentially partnering with DPOM. He could not have been more honest and helpful. When I chatted through our key stats, his recommendation was that we did not need to complicate our strategy further, but to increase the budget on what is already going well for us. For this he said, we did not need to use DPOM. I left the phone call confident of the next steps, Thank you Lee for your honesty and integrity, and not just taking on a client because the opportunity is there. It is refreshing and much needed in this ever changing landscape.
I was struggling with running my own AdWords, I found DPOM and have been very pleased with the result. The AdWords are running consistently, I feel my account is in safe hands I can speak to them when ever is needed. It has given me a stable base to build from. They are not one of these once your signed up they forget about you type companies.
I know absolutely nothing about google adwords and from experience, i know some advertising experts take complete advantage of this. Dpom really try hard to give me information in laymans terms without jargon and ultimately, i measure success on how much my phone rings - which is more than ever. I also think it's a good sign they invite their clients to review, they'll always get a bad one but that shows complete transparency and makes me trust them more.
I've been a client of dpom for a while for my SEO and due to their excellent I've now taken them on for PPC. Brett has helped me grow my electricans business and I'm looking forward to taking advantage of more services by dpom. I was originally impressed by dpoms honest and open approach, i know nothing about the internet and to be honest, expected my phone to ring from day 1. They explained how that would be unlikely and I was taken aback by their honesty. Recently signed up to dpom and was told not to expect immediate results and it can take time. I get it varies between client and industry but they talk themselves down! 3 weeks in and my sales are up significantly, I couldn't be happier!
Cheap but for a reason / Inflexible Contract Terms Best to read the contract small print first before you sign your life away on DPOM There are nasty clauses all over it especially with regards to payment which they refuse to even consider amending. For example if you are 7 days late on a payment eg if you are on on holiday or ill , they automatically charge you for another 2 months and you are contracted to it. So at £195 + vat you are looking at a £468 payment. I raised this with them but they refused to change this to a more reasonable timeframe beyond 7 days late or even remove the charging 2 more months for no reason. Seems very unreasonable which should make you wonder what other issues there might be if contract terms are this inflexible. "a. 6.3.1 Should the Customer cancel their Direct Debit Mandate (or debit/credit card authorisation) without first providing an alternative payment source, an administration charge equal to 2 x monthly payments will be charged in addition to any outstanding amounts" Its hard to trust companies that have contracts like this especially when any request to change them is met with comments like "We have terms in place to protect both you as a client and us as a business". This is definitely not protecting you as the client in any way and seems way beyond protecting them as a business! Dont waste your valuable time!
