The DTC Intensive Driving Courses are designed for those learners who have a valid UK provisional driving licence, passed their theory test and have already taken several driving lessons. These one-week pass courses are also suitable for international drivers, even if they have never driven in the UK before, learner drivers who have recently failed a practical test, and those who are almost up to the test standard. Sep 28,2021Very happy with this service. I spent hours on the Gov website trying to book a test and finally got a date - 5 months away. I registered with DTC and less than two weeks later they booked me an earlier test In 7 weeks. Fantastic service. I am so happy. No money up front. You pay once they’ve booked it. Takes all the stress out.

Sep 27,2021I paid £159 for the emergency car hire service as my driving instructor was not available on the day of my test and was let down by the service. 1. The car was incredibly dirty on the inside and had a very stale smell. The examiner was visibly uncomfortable with the state of the car. I found myself apologising to her for the state of the car. 2. The car was an old car with extremely stiff steering and a faulty handbrake. The car was able to move off with the handbrake up. 3. Last but certainly not least, the instructor arrived 45 mins late to the lesson before the test. This meant that I did not have the time to familiarise myself with the car. I ended up failing on the manoeuvre at the test centre which I believe I would not have failed on had I had time to familiarise myself with the car. DTC have done nothing to rectify this issue and have not handled this incident well at all. The instructor sent me a £20 refund for the 'price of the lesson'. To avoid disappointment, I would strongly advise that you do not use this service. Please use the speedy tests app (or something similar) to find a date that suits you and your instructor. Do not pay £159 for a service that could disappoint you. It is not worth it.

Sep 08,2021Heard about DTC from a friend. I had a test booked for the 15th November and this wasn't even at my local test centre. I signed up and within just 2 days they found me a better date and at my local test centre. Absolutely brilliant didn't think it would even be possible due to the pandemic etc.

Aug 16,2021My daughter booked a car and a fully qualified driving instructor for a price of £169 which included an hour’s lessons before the test. From the booking time, it was painstaking to get a confirmation of the car and instructor and the support team was not proactive at all. The worse comes last, on the day of the test the instructor showed up with a car that was not roadworthy, DVLA cancelled the test...needless to say the disappointment as this was a rescheduled test date from March to early August because of COVID situation. Overall, very unprofessional, poor service and 12 days later we are still waiting for the refund.

Aug 14,2021I recently failed my driving test and tried to book another but could see no dates on the gov.uk site. I sate on the laptop for 5 hours putting every single date for the wholw year and still no date. I went to dtc as they do not take payment untill they get you an earlier driving test date. WOW! I was supprised when they got me a test within one month. Thank yiu dtc

Aug 07,2021I booked a car hire through this platform about a week back from my test. I went with them mainly because they promised this "All our instructors are fully qualified by the DVSA so this is the reason for the high pass rate". So, I went with the 159£ package of 1 hr practice + driving test. Booking and scheduling part on the platform was smooth. On the day of test, the driving instructor I was suppose to meet was late. He arrived about 50 mins before the test. Then, he said he was busy with some other work and introduced me to someone else who was suppose to conduct the 1hr practice test. I'm 100% sure this person was no driving instructor. He just took me around for 30 mins and could hardly comment on various things I might be doing wrong. Just gave some generic answers. Disappointingly, I ended up failing the test. I'm not blaming this service for this, but I'm sure if I had a good instructor and a decent 1 hr practice session I would have done lot better. TL;DR - An expensive service which fails to guarantee what they promise. Won't be using it in future.

Aug 02,2021Having only been able to find a test date in December miles from home the automated apps available online managed to bring a date forward to October. Having found DTCUK on line I applied for an earlier test date for my daughter more in hope than expectation. Absolutely unbelievable result. They managed to find a test date inside 6 weeks at our preferred test centre. I was slightly nervous this was all a scam, but absolutely not the case. There was one small issue on the first date booked (we couldn't make it) and the phone was answered almost instantly, and an alternative found inside an hour. Superb service and worth every penny.

Jul 22,2021Absolute heroes! DTC found the amazing Ray for us with 72 hours to go before my daughter’s test! It was a last minute cancellation test, and Ray found time to not only give her a crucial two hour lesson and then 48 hours was there at 7am for an 8am test ! My daughter passed! Thank you DTC and Ray! Really recommend them all!

Jun 28,2021I would give more stars if i could! Fantastic service and highly recommended! I had a test booked for 16th June and just over a week before... i found myself without an instructor and car!! I was panicking and had intended on rescheduling my test but was unable to find a new date!! I then found DTCUK and Shaq immediately put my mind at ease and i was able to arrange lessons with an instructor and car hire! Was such a smooth and easy booking process! I was so fortunate to be allocated Rani as my instructor (She is truly a god send!) She is kind, patient, so knowledgeable and went above and beyond!! My test was then cancelled due to the examiner being unavailable but Rani and DTC was able to accommodate this change and on 26th June, at Slough Test centre... I passed!! Massive Thank you!!

Jun 24,2021worst experience THEY CANCELLED MY WHOLE DRIVING TEST WITHOUT ASKING ! i have been crying all day they booked me a test but i’d already booked a test on a different app so i said i didn’t need the test and they refused to let me go without paying £30 so they cancelled my whole entire test i have now had to pay for another one that’s ages away when i had booked one with a different app for july ! i am outraged

Jun 02,2021Omg I signed up the other day panicking as there wasn’t any tests available for 4+ months and they only put out 15-20 weeks of tests on dvla website. And DTC found me a test in a few days for July, I am so happy and so thankful. I felt so defeated when I did my theory and passed to find out there was no tests. But thank you so much DTC.

May 17,2021I have been driving for over 20 yrs. in America, but had to start afresh to obtain a UK driving license. It was not obvious to me that DVSA examiners do not provide vehicles for practical (road) tests, as is the case in many other countries. I used DTC because I needed a car on short notice for my exam, but what I did not expect was the value of driving with an instructor an hour beforehand to obtain the tips that ensured I passed my exam on the first go. Anisha was absolutely fantastic - professional, kind, empathetic, and bearing valuable insight that could easily "make-or-break" technical aspects of concern to examiners. What's more, Kiran (in DTC's office) was responsive to my many queries and very helpful by arranging for Anisha to pick me up at a nearby Tube station ahead of the exam. It was a perfect experience and I highly recommend this service.
