Feb 20,2025Arrived on time, well packaged & the progater looks a good quality so I'm looking forward to using it for many years to come. Hopefully the self watering feature with capillary matting & larger trays than my last windowsill progater will help avoid drying out. The individual cell trays also look a really good quality & will save time not needing to prick out. I haven't used this company before but plan to do so in the future.

Nov 20,2024Decent quality at a sensible price. They appear to use UPS as their courier - we got notification from Earlygrow that they had dispatched to Courier, and gave a tracking number. 3 days later the courier tracking number was still "awaiting parcel". I contacted Earlygrow who very promptly rang me, discussed the problem sensibly, and dispatched a replacement order via Royal Mail - Excellent customer service repairing a problem within minutes of me bringing it to their attention. Well-packed replacements arrived "next day".

Mar 02,2025I bought a heating mat and a separate thermostatic controller. They arrived in good condition within a few days. The mat gives gentle heat which is just what's needed to start seeds in compost. The build quality seems high and the mains plug and power lead for the mat are very chunky. I have had to wrap a T shirt or two around the plastic box I'm doing a germination test in to get it to 30C, but I have a cold house. The controller works very well. The only thing to look out for is that if you set it for 30C it turns off at 30.9 degrees, but of course you just set it for 29 degrees instead. I look forward to starting many seeds!
