Jun 22,2023Da qualche giorno cercavo in rete un vocabolario della lingua italiana in formato testo così da potervi accedere da una mia applicazione Python, ma la ricerca è stata vana. L'unica alternativa sembrava quella di acquistare un ebook Kindle, ma restava il problema di poterlo leggere da codice. Mi sono così imbattuto in diversi software che promettevano la conversione dal formato originale Kindle a vari formati, tra i quali PDF, Word, TXT. Dopo l'acquisto dell'ebook ho però scoperto che questi applicativi non riuscivano ad operare su quelli pubblicati dopo il 1 gennaio 2023. Qui entra in gioco Epubor, con il suo Kindle Converter, che ha svolto magnificamente il suo lavoro. Per poterlo utilizzare su ebook del 2023, è necessario installare un emulatore Android, settare alcune semplici impostazioni, e il problema è stato risolto. Epubor mette a disposizione una guida dettagliata, con i link a tutto ciò che occorre. Di meglio non potrebbe davvero fare. Note personali che non influiscono sulla valutazione 5 stelle: il trial permette la conversione di soli tre ebook, si potrebbe innalzare un po' questa soglia. Le informazioni come detto ci sono tutte, ma le ho trovate un po' sparpagliate e ho scaricato un emulatore Android che non si interfacciava con il loro programma prima di trovare la pagina nella quale era chiaramente indicato quale utilizzare e come settarlo. In ogni caso, ad oggi, un software unico!

Jun 16,2023the application is very useful, but lately as we have to pay it ends up being bad to do some things. A tip would be to do one conversion per day or something like that for those who use the platform for free.

En suivant leur tutoriel 3ème méthode qui passe par un émulateur Android (LDPlayer), Epubor Converter Kindle fait son boulot et nous évite d'acheter la liseuse propriétaire Kindle de chez Amazon. Un seul regret, leur logiciel est en location. Cela peut se comprendre dans la mesure où Amazon peut encore changer ses agaçantes protections et rendre la méthode obsolète.

Jun 03,2023Jeg holder meget af min Kobo ebogslæser og køber mange Kindle bøger til den, som jeg er nødt til at konvertere til Kepub format. Det kan ikke længere lade sig gøre fra januar 2023, selvom jeg plejer at kunne bruge Calibre til denne opgave. Der findes en lang beskrivelse på nettet af hvordan man kan gøre det på en eller anden nørdet måde, som jeg ikke forstår noget som helst af. Med Epubor henter man en android emulator og en Kindle konverter og vupti, så er problemet løst. Genialt. Måske lidt pebret at kræve 210dkk for et års service, men det er helt klart pengene værd og fornyer ikke automatisk. Så, tak, Epubor, I fortjener virkelig ros for at gøre det meget lettere at læse Kindle bøger på Kobo og lignende ebogslæsere, så man ikke er tvunget til at bruge Kindle.

May 18,2023Für Leute, die Kindle-Bücher gerne unabhängig auf ePub-Reader lesen wollen, war Epubor Ultimate ein Top-Programm. Doch leider ist es für neue Bücher nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Der Kundenservice reagiert zwar sehr schnell auf Kundenanfragen, aber oft nur mit Standardtexten. Statt das Programm weiterzuentwickeln, wird ein neues Programm angeboten. Für User, die eine lebenslange Version von Ultimate gekauft haben, eine Katastrophe. Denn das neue Programm Kindle Converter gibt es maximal als Jahresversion. Ich habe zwar eine kostenlose Jahresversion bekommen (deswegen der 2. Stern, aber was ist dann ? Doch wieder zahlen ? Und das neue Programm läuft nur mit einem Android-Simulator, der sehr instabil läuft. Die Kindle-APP stürzt sehr oft ab. Bevor man Geld in Ultimate oder Kindle Converter investiert, sollte man schauen, ob man sich nicht lieber einen Reader kauft. Spätestens nach 4 Jahren hat man das Geld raus und keine Probleme mit nichtfunktionierender oder schlecht funktionierender Software. Hinweis: Ich beziehe mich mit dieser Bewertung nur auf Ultimate und dem Converter. Andere Software mag problemlos funktionieren. Aber wenn man erlebt, dass eine lebenslange Software nicht mehr weiter entwickelt wird und sich dann eine neue Software kaufen muss. Dann sollte man sich überlegen, ob man da Geld investiert.

Jun 27,2023Very useful software. I used Epubor Ultimate to convert an ebook bought on Amazon into an EPUB file that I then uploaded to my non-Kindle e-reader. The ebook was encrypted with Kindle KFX DRM but I could work around the problem thanks to their recently updated help page.
