Until recently, we were quite satisfied with the experience provided by Exavault. But in the last two weeks we have had two serious service outages, and lost our own customers' data in the process. The ExaVault status page gave no information about these outages and hardly gave us any hint that wouldn't happen again.
The have been using ExaVault for some time and paying $20 per month. We were sent an email out of the blue recently saying that the annual subscription would now be $2,100! This is way beyond our budget and leaves us in a very difficult position, needing to restructure our IT, and our relationship with the 3rd parties at short notice. If this is how their customers are treated, they deserve 0 stars. I am trying to imaging what they would say to their providers if bills starting landing on their door mat with little notice and 500% increases in charges. We are small business with very low volume users, only transferring a few files a day, each nothing more than a csv file with a few lines of text. Very unimpressed.
Exavault was great when it was $20 per month. Now they're going to charge me $3350 annually for the "essential" plan, a 1395% increase. For this price I can't even get a custom domain or unlimited transfers. What a joke

We've used ExaVault for several projects requiring secure and auditable file transfer. It's much easier and more flexible than the "old school" methods of setting up FTP or SFTP servers. We've not (yet) had a need to use the API or the "Widgets" feature, but it's good to know they're available when needed. It just works. Highly recommend.
Our business has to create new FTP accounts all the time and ExaVault makes it as easy as possible. I'm a big fan of their easy-to-activate custom notifications that make sure everyone everyone is keep in the loop about the latest file activity. I also love how they're constantly improving the service and interface. ExaVault will have my business for years to come!
This is a good product for secured FTP. It is easy to manage. Features should be added and functionality can be improved. But certainly a good investment for the current features and simplicity of use.

Overall the product and our experience with the software and support team has been great. They continue to add necessary features to keep ftp options available for our customers that want more and more automated workflows.
We were hosting SFTP services on-premise and we were always concerned about the security. It got so bad that we turned of the SFTP server when no in use. This was causing issues for our users. Then we found ExaVault. Cloud hosted SFTP services were exactly what we needed. Very secure and we can filter access based on IP address as well. Overall, a great product.
Exavault has made our startup scale with ease. From onboarding a small retailer to enterprise, they make it simple and branded to interact with our customers as if we are a larger company.
After using the platform for quite a time (with no problems) we receive an email notifying us our monthly subscription is to increase 5 fold to $100 per month! Its not that we make excessive use of the service either, always well within our quota. I been left feeling that small businesses helped build ExaVault and now they have been out priced and cast aside, sad very sad. Thanks for your reply, what you fail to mention is the condition of the 12 month price freeze is it's payable in one yearly payment upfront and afterwards still increase your fee from $20 to $100 per month. Oh and sending out the price increase email the day after taking the months invoice payment feels a poor show too, especially because if we cancel you remove the service in 1 to 2 days but refuse to refund the unused portion of the plan.

We have teams working remotely (different state) exavault has been a life saver for sharing files with multiple teams in multiple states. It’s interface is easy enough for even non technical staff to utilize without needing in depth training. 10/10 would recommend for offsite storage and file management.

I've had an account with ExaVault for several years, and their service has been absolutely perfect. I needed a safe and secure file transfer service for sensitive legal audio recordings, and they delivered. I was able to let remote workers upload and download files with ease, which was a key feature. Last but not least, the price point was right where I needed it to be. I recommend ExaVault wholeheartedly.

Dec 02,2024Incredibly bad service. Historically used the platform and wanted to create a new account. Waited 2 weeks for a call to get a quote (after emailing asking for this). Get on the call and won't give me a quote and wants to book another call. Incredibly bad process flow - which is probably incredibly uncomfortable for the sales reps. Do better.
