Jan 17,2014Several years ago, we found them after an extensive search for a web host that could handle multiple SFTP clients. At the time, there were very few that could do it, unless we wanted to look at hosting on our own or purchasing a more complex web host solution. Exavault fit the bill. For a price similar to a basic web host, we can have all of our clients log in separately to share files securely over encryption. It works great and has been very reliable.

Jan 17,2014Very good customer service and support. Lot of new feature added in the last 1 year and I am really happy with the intuitive design. Very less downtime so far. Service was down one day for almost 2 hours. Besides that, everything was excellent.

After much searching, they were one of the view services that met all the criteria for my needs including the ability to securely send password protected files to clients. They have been very quick to respond to any requests I've sent (initially contacting them via email seems to be best), and have been very helpful. Having just started working with them, I hope to follow up this review in the future with an even better evaluation.

Dec 11,2013Been with ExaVault for almost 2 years now and should have signed-up with them since I started my business. Had my own FTP service and found out to be a hassle after a while. With the growing needs of my clients, cost and reliability, it was time for a change. After much research through the net and friends, stumbled on ExaVault. Before signing-up, I was in communication with them asking questions regarding their service and after satisfying my curiosity, became a customer. All my clients and myself are very pleased with the new FTP. They are reliable and dependable on their service, reasonable on the pricing and most of all, able to respond to concerns at any given time. I highly recommend ExaVault!

Dec 11,2013ExaVault is an Excellent company for both Quality and Support! Their site is fast and easy to navigate. Their support is top notch and I would put them up with the best of them. We had our own FTP servers since the '90's and this is so much better. I have been in IT since 1974 so I know a thing or 2 about computers.

Oct 13,2013We have used (extensively) every file sharing, file drop, archiving, FTP replacement on the market and have never been completely satisfied with the combination of features, interface, or pricing of competitive products until we discovered ExaVault. The interface is clean and intuitive. Features are easy to use. File management, sharing, and delivery take less time than any other system. Performance is awesome. And the pricing is both fair and an excellent value. The fact that the ExaVault team is actively improving the product (without just laying on unnecessary features) is a huge bonus.

Sep 27,2013I needed a service that charged us like a utility (storage/bandwidth/etc...) not by the user. I needed my entire staff (70) to have their own logins (even tho some may never login or only occasionally) so they could be appropriately notified of received files and ExaVault was the only service I found with comprehensive features that didn't charge by the user! We can do upload-only file drops and expiring links to large files, as well as full, upload/download, web-based file sharing of entire folders with granular permissions and per-user notifications. Their support is super-responsive and they are constantly improving the service. Also, did I mention the utility pricing?

Sep 18,2013I'm the IT Manager for a General Contractor in Seattle with 180 computer-using staff members. We have been using Exavault for a year and a half, and I couldn't be more pleased with them. Their file sharing interface is easy to use, even for users with limited computer skills. It's also packed with features. You can use it in its most basic function (share files), or you can take advantage of other features like notifications, permission levels, viewing history, etc. Below is a thank-you email I sent to them, after they fixed a problem THE SAME DAY I contacted them. Communicative, knowledgeable, excellent design. I wish all companies were like Exavault. = = = = = This is very impressive. I love how the Exavault team is so responsive and helpful. You guys really rock it! I just tested on an XP machine with IE 8… BAM! Works like a charm. I really appreciate your timeliness, and the efforts from the dev team to create a fix for this issue. You could have easily rested on the “we don’t support IE 8” notion and you would have been well within fair expectations. The fact that you didn’t stop there, and fixed the issue, is excellent customer service. It allows us to let our people and their clients go on with things the way they expect, without having to jump through extra hoops. We could’ve instructed the affected clients to download and install Firefox, paste in the appropriate link, etc. But it would be extra steps and time and frankly the people affected by this issue are probably the ones most likely to get frustrated and not do it properly without a lot of handholding. Exavault provides a robust and EASY service. Its seamless nature helps make file sharing very easy for our staff and clients. I really appreciate this. Thanks very much!

A few of those factors include: 1) Easy to use UI; 2) Support; 3) Extensive feature set and scalability. Let me add that after 20+ years of writing software for numerous companies, it's hard for me to think of another FTP provider that allowed me to setup a FTP site and implement their features in an enterprise environment so quickly. Feb 20,2014ExaVault's customer support is by far one the the best I have ever seen. I sent an email to customer support today regarding the web embedded file upload applet. They responded almost immediately saying the would submit the issue to their web developer and had the issue fixed in less than 2 hours. I was amazed, frankly most web based companies you are lucky if you get a response within 24 hours, much less get the issue resolved. The intuitive ease of use of this site and it's service is one of the best I have ever used. It has vastly improved our workflow and file transfer capability. I highly recommend ExaVault!
