Nov 08,2021I have been using the device for about 6 months now, I completed the 6 weeks everyday use and then try for every other day, though for me every day would probably be better. I was diagnosed several years back with moderate/severe Apnea but had my eye on this new technology and wanted to see if it could help. After the initial 6 weeks I stopped using my CPAP machine and haven't gone back since. I do however sleep with a SP02 sensor that logs my sleep and I have set to alert me should my saturation drop below 90%. Most nights that happens a couple times a night, so I'm not ready to ditch sleep monitoring yet. However, I'm very happy to just deal with being awoken a couple times a night instead of having a CPAP glued to my face. I recommend this device if you have the discipline to do it regularly. (talk to your doctor). Customer service in the US has been outstanding. You do have to replace the mouthpiece every 90 days which I find a little annoying because it would be better if the design was replace after so many uses, but it's still cheaper than CPAP supplies, so there's that.

Oct 23,2021i have used the device now for over 6 weeks and can not honestly say whether it has helped. I have moderate sleep apnea and knew coming in that it may not help. I will know after my sleep study, but have been impressed with the support i got from the company. I want to commend especially Joel Hanlon who has been extremely helpful. From day one he has returned my call, emails within a few minutes .He has answered all my questions, helped me start the device and did trouble shooting, always getting back to me even on weekends. I can truly say that i might have quit without him. whether it is helpful to me or not I think it is a great device .

Oct 23,2021So far, so good! I have used the eXcite device for six weeks, and my second sleep study showed better results! I believe with continued use, these numbers will further get better. I also use mouth tape at night, and I highly recommend it. Give eXcite a try, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Oct 22,2021Unfortunately my recent sleep study showed NO improvement in my mild osa after 10 weeks of faithfully using the device. In fact it said I was now in the moderate range! I’m still using my device, generally daily, and have kicked it up a notch in case that helps.

Oct 18,2021I used Provent therapy for many years before they stopped manufacturing them. Provent wasn't the best solution, but it helped me sleep relatively ok until a better solution came along. However, once my Provent ran out I was left with no solution and went back to sleeping horribly. I would wake up in the middle of the night because of snoring. I woke up in the morning feeling like I was not breathing well and tired. Now, after trying Excite, my sleep has progressively improved during the therapy over time. I still snore at night though not as much as before and I am getting a much better night's sleep. I suppose the reduction in snoring could improve as I keep using the device over time. Though, just this improvement in sleep alone is the result I was hoping for. I am so happy this is working for me because I was not thrilled about the next options for me, which would be surgeries.

Oct 18,2021What an amazing device, this is going to help millions of people. Before I used it my tongue was limp and flabby, you could see how the whole upper airway lacked muscle tone. Six weeks of using Excite OSA and my tongue is a lean, mean fighting machine. It's easy to use, the APP is well designed, and the customer service decent. My one suggestion is that the device should not require a constant internet connection, if you cut out of signal for any reason during treatment, it stops. Largely though, I am super impressed with this. It is surely the future of sleep medicine...

Oct 17,2021I went through the entire treatment cycle twice (had to restart the first time because I had missed a week due to vacation). No improvement for me. I know there are lots of physiological reasons for obstructive sleep apnea but my tongue strength is not the driver for me, apparently as this device did absolutely nothing for me. I wasn't expecting much as the clinical trial data did not show that this helped everybody. Disappointing but it was worth a shot.

Oct 17,2021I have just finished the initial 6 week training with this device. My snoring is particularly non existent now. I also have mild sleep apnea which stopped altogether during the 6th week. However it has returned to a lesser extent since I stopped using every day. I am now experimenting with using every other day. Customer services at EXciteOSA are excellent and helped with all my queries and questions.

Oct 14,2021Hi, I bought this device for husband, who WAS a heavy snorer. He reluctantly used the device everyday for 20 minutes, it was so easy to use every evening. He is snoring is much much less, and more importantly I am sleeping so much better. I also want to metion the amazing service provided by the staff at exciteosa, they truly care and are always available.

Oct 12,2021Although Excite OSA was not the right treatment for my wife, our trial experience was extraordinarily positive. The device was easy to use and didn't take much time (20 minutes/day, during the day). It is much easier to use and less intrusive than a CPAP or other device. The customer service was absolutely fantastic! They checked with us regularly to see how things were going and were exceptionally responsive when handling any issues that arose. They even held a video teleconference session with us to help us out. (Bellevue, Washington, USA)

Oct 09,2021This device takes a little bit of getting used to however it works wonders. I've begrudgingly been a CPAP user for years however I no longer have to use it. The excite device was able to get me off the CPAP within the 6 weeks that they promised and I haven't looked back. I feel amazing, my family is happier and I'm a better Dad. What more can you ask for? Give it a try...you won't regret it and the company is fantastic to work with.

Oct 07,2021I am part of a trial program in the US. I used the device every day for 6 weeks and am now using twice a week per the instructions. Overall I can say that I have seen some improvement in my sleep. In fact, I realized that I may need to increase my frequency from twice a week. But I'll take this over a CPAP machine!

Oct 05,2021I haven't finished the course of treatment yet, but regardless of the outcome I wanted to give this review for the USA based staff person, Joel Hanlon. He is the gold standard for service. I think this is a new company and I had some app and communications glitches with the UK office, but if that's also happened to you I would just say to be patient as the company gets up and going in the US. The company's US based office is responsive, knowledgeable and altogether lovely to work with.

Oct 02,2021Good evening, I am happy to report that the eXciteOSA device significantly reduced my snoring just after 2 weeks of use. As per the instructions, I used the device daily for 20 minutes for 6 weeks. I never missed a day. Within the first week, I was able to increase the intensity as high as 11. I was very excited about using the device as it quickly made a huge difference in the life of my husband. His sleep was often disrupted as a result of my heavy snoring. I am now using the device twice weekly to continue to strengthen the muscles in my tongue. If you snore, suffer from sleep apnea, please give eXcite OSA a try, you will not be disappointed. Sep 30,2021I have been recieving cpap therapy for 7 yrs. I would use cpap every night to enable rested sleep and stop foggy brain. I read about exciteOSA and decided to try it as an alternative to using the cpap machine. Im in week 8 of using exciteOSA. The first couple of weeks I still used cpap too as it takes time for the exciteOSA to strengthen the necessary muscles. I found that by week 4 using only exciteOSA I could sleep through the night with no apnea episodes and no foggy brain the next day. So far after 7 full weeks it is working for me in that I am not reliant on cpap. I am delighted with the results so far and will continue to use exciteOSA. It is definitely worth giving it a go. I was sceptical before I tried and am glad I did. The help team have been on hand to answer any questions I have had. The follow up call after 6 weeks was much appreciated too.

Sep 30,2021I really like the eXciteOSA device and have just completed my 16th week of use. The concept underlying the therapy and initial results are pleasantly surprising! My snoring is “softer” and my sleep is more restful. The 20 minute sessions are easy and not disruptive to my day. The device is small and easy to travel with. I would highly recommend it to those with mild sleep apnea and individuals who have snoring problems. You will be extremely pleased with the results.

Sep 22,2021Really pleased with my eXciteOSA device , I record my blood oxygen levels via my health watch and every day I see gradual improvement. I have more energy during most days and my sleep Apnea appears to be under control now. Also the company gives excellent support for the product and very pleased with service received.

Sep 13,2021Three-plus years ago, I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea and prescribed nightly CPAP usage. About six months ago, I was introduced to the eXciteOSA therapy, which offered an interesting alternative approach that if successful, had the potential to eventually eliminate the CPAP. The concept was so novel, yet simple, that I decided to give it a try. The daily sessions were easy and minimally disruptive to my day, which was so much better than my nightly struggle with the CPAP. The device itself was much smaller than my CPAP, and all of its pieces were certainly much easier and less awkward to travel with! Initial results were pleasantly surprising: my wife reported that my snoring was “softer” and I definitely felt more restful in the morning. When I met with my pulmonologist, I discussed the therapy and results with him and he ordered a sleep test to verify my reported results. Great news! The sleep test recorded a much more peaceful sleep than the original test that had put the CPAP in my life, and even better, the numbers were below the threshold for a diagnosis of "mild" sleep apnea. This meant NO MORE CPAP! I couldn't be happier. I am now in the sustaining maintenance phase of the therapy and only wish I had known about the eXciteOSA alternative earlier. Highly recommend it.

Nov 13,2021I have completed the initial 20 minute per day program and I am currently using the excite twice a week. I got as high as 14 during the initial period and I’m using level 12 for maintenance. I must share that this is tolerable but uncomfortable. I do feel that excite is something worthwhile trying. I have mild to moderate sleep apnea and am pleased to report that there was a significant improvement in my second study. My snoring has also improved. I agree about the expense involved in replacing the mouthpiece every 90 days. I hope the price will come down. Jennifer at excite has been outstanding to work with. I consider myself a happy customer.
