Jan 19,2021We had an analytical instrument data system crash, with the PC not even recognizing the existence of the drive (that was working well in the morning of the crash). The IT resources available onsite also confirmed that the hard disk drive could not be recognized by either a PC or SATA to USB adapter. We then sent this drive to Fields Data Recovery in hopes that they could recover at least the analytical data stored on this drive. They evaluated the drive and within 24 hours contacted me (on a weekend, no less) with the results and sent the quote. We received the recovered data back on a USB Memory Drive, with all the data we requested intact. The Lab Manager was elated that we were able to recover this data. The information gathering process and professionalism at Fields Data Recovery far exceeded my expectations and both the Lab Manager and I are very well pleased with the service we received from Field Data Recovery. We highly recommend them.

Jan 19,2021I had a Seagate external hard drive on my home computer that started making weird squealing noises and then my computer would not recognize the drive. After research and actually shipping my drive to another company and having the company return it to me without repair I talked to Fields Data Recovery. I spoke with Steve on the phone and he kept me in the loop on the recovery. The price was still high but they were the cheapest I found. My data was returned to me on a flash drive and everything was intact. Very professional people and I was very pleased how it turned out.

Jan 12,2021They did not even try to recover anything from my applications folder, and, when I sent them a message about it, they did not reply. That was more than two months ago. The price was also very, very high. They also rushed me on making a decision. When I told them that I wouldn’t have time to review the list of files they were able to recover, I got a very hard-sell campaign to make a decision NOW!!! I imagine that their technical staff is very good.

Jan 09,2021Work was done very efficiently, My data was returned ahead of time and was in good shape. Final price was on a par with other estimates I had received. My only concern is that I did not receive a summary of what was wrong/damaged with my old hard drive. It would have been nice to find out what the problem was.

Jan 05,2021The external hard drive on my MacBook crashed. I’ve never had this happen before. It literally made me sick, as if I had a traumatic physical injury. Dec 28,2020This company is a joke! They Charged me $1500 to recover my data and they failed. Mr Cass Davis told the plate of the drive is in good condition and they need to order head parts to recover data from it, it took 3 weeks, which is also crazy. Then they told me that 3 attempts of recovery failed so I asked for refund. Mr Cass Davis told me that I paid for attempts to recover it and I wont get any refund. However I just read their terms and conditions and it clearly says if they wont be able to recover files they will issue refund. DO NOT TRUST THEM !!

Dec 22,2020Awful service. Once they are paid, neither George or Alex return calls. They sent an empty hard drive the 1st time. 2nd time, the files were so hard to find and go thru, I couldn't find as much as they promised. Terrible service. Don't use or trust.

Dec 17,2020Fields Data Recovery was a dream to deal with. They recovered photo data dating back to 1945 to present day. I had two drives that failed simultaneously after 5 years of use. The price for that recovery service was little to pay for a life time of valuable memories. Thank you! Tom

I contacted Fields Data Recovery and they were able to recover the entire contents of my hard drive and I had it back in less than a week. Dec 14,2020We used Field Data Recovery services when people in our community told us that the data was not recoverable and returned the disk back to us. We then contacted Field Data Recovery and they informed us that they could recover the data and they did. Great Job!

Dec 09,2020My external hard drive crashed while doing a backup and I lost everything. Case did a fantastic job of recovering almost all of the data. I'm only missing a few files that were damage during the backup attempt when the heads crashed into the drive. I break out in the shakes and cold sweat just thinking if I would have had to recreate all the data. Great job Case!!!

Dec 08,2020Excellent service from these people. They communicated promptly at every stage of the project via e-mail and phone. Their customer service rep. was very helpful and courteous. The turnaround was quicker than I expected. They were able to recover all but one file from over 1 terabyte of data. I was given the option of having them destroy the old drive, or return it to me. I opted for return, which they did promptly. I would use them again if the need arises.

Dec 07,2020Great results, I got my data back in a useful form, and in a reasonable time. It was complicated as I lost one disk in a 3 disk array, which they had to reconstruct. They kept me well informed how the recovery was progressing. I was pleasantly surprised at not having to pay for the reconstruction of the disk until after it was done. I only had to pay once they had recovered the data, and told me how much they were able to retrieve. The cost did climb faster than I anticipated, but I only had to pay after I new how much data (but not which files) was recovered. My only concern was how fast the cost escalated higher than I anticipated. But I did not have to pay until they had the data ready, and I gave my go ahead to send it back to me. They did a great job.

Jan 21,2021It took longer and estimates were more than initially given, however data was recovered. I thought Steve lacked customer service skills and I had to contact management regarding his interactions but when Roger took over all was pleasant. They followed up to make sure I was satisfied with recovery! If you have some precious to you that was lost, I would highly recommend.
