Aug 27,2020Five Star Properties did a fine job handling my reservation and communicating with me prior to my stay. They also checked with me following my arrival to make sure that all was well. My only disappointment with Five Star was upon departure. We were due to depart at 10AM on Saturday and the house was not rented the week following our stay. I asked if we could depart at 2PM and offered to pay a couple hundred dollars for the later departure. Five Star declined a late check-out but offered another night's stay for a hefty fee. No thanks. Not sure why they couldn't have been a wee bit more customer friendly for a courtesy that would not impact them.

Aug 26,2020It is extremely difficult to contact management and have issues resolved. I never received info on the gate code, wrist bands, or a parking pass. I was forced to pay for a parking pass by security even though it should have been included when I booked my stay. Overall management was really unhelpful

Aug 26,2020Overall, our family had a good stay at Bourbon Breeze from Five Start properties. The house was clean and spacious for our family and the children loved the pool. The only reason this property did not get 5 stars is because we only had access to the beach for 1 of the days that we stayed with our own fob. The property managers were unable to locate the fobs. We had to ask other people to let us in and out of the beach which was very frustrating especially with small children and it being very hot. I don't feel that we were being assisted enough with this matter.

The view was amazing and the location was perfect, very close to the beach and the community pool. 5 Star was wonderful and answered our calls very promptly with any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be back to Destiny by the Sea and be using 5 star again!

Aug 25,2020Great vacation! My family enjoyed the bikes, the pool and the proximity to the beach. If I had to say something that we didn’t like, it was a bit cold in the house. I stayed in another property that had a sound system that played throughout the home, this one didn’t have that feature.

Aug 25,2020Beautiful house. Great location. I wish it was a little better stocked with regular items (pizza cutter, plastic bowls/plates, salt/pepper) but Its probably because the place seems brand spanking new. Overall wonderful experience.

Aug 25,2020This property is beautiful! the house is very large, with ample space in the bedrooms. The living room is slightly small for the amount of people the beds can sleep, but only an issue if it's a rainy day. the pool is beautiful and a great addition. very convenient short walk to the beach if you have kids or a lot to carry, etc. kitchen is nice with tons of dishware etc, along with a great grill. 2 laundry rooms was nice to keep towels clean and do some laundry before heading home. garage comes with great floats, chairs, umbrellas, and the bikes are awesome. would recommend this house!

Aug 25,2020I want to start by saying Five Star Properties is a great company with awesome staff. We have been with Five Star Properties for the last 3 years and we will continue to book with them and I give them 5 stars ⭐️. The 3 stars are for the house we stayed this year. We had a few issues with the house Sanctuary of Frangista 1. We had issues with the bathroom the water would go from cold to hot to cold again in matter of seconds. 2. The elevator kept getting stuck and made a lot of noise. On the last day of our stay my mom got stuck for 10 min until someone knew she was in there and I was able to guide her on how to get out. 3. The water hose faucet next to the pool the handle broke off and water was spraying everywhere a plumber was supposed to come and fix it and never showed up the next day Five star properties maintenance man showed up and fixed it fast and was very nice and knowledgeable. 4. The T.V in the main living room kept blacking out and could only hear the sound but no picture. We would turn it off for 20-30 min and it would start working normally then it would do it again. I will book with Five Star Properties again next year they are a great company.

Aug 24,2020We loved our house, it was sooo beautiful and in the perfect spot! But we were disappointed in the rental company from the beginning. The communication between them was very poor, we inquired on getting early access (which I understand it cannot be guaranteed). But when we arrived we attempted to call the company to see if we can get in, we were hung up on. We called back again, and were told the house was JUST completed, but we waited outside for over an hour and got in. Upon entry we noticed there were no cleaning products, no dish soap, no garbage bags, no sponges, no propane in the grill. We went out and purchased the bare minimum to just get us through the night. That night we also noticed that every pull out bed only had sheets provided. Half of the house had to sleep under towels and one sheet. We called immediately the next morning, and it took 4 hours for them to deliver soap, garbage bags, and a sponge, and the bag WREAKED of cigarettes. When I asked about the blankets, I was rudely told the housekeeping company showed them pictures of the sheets and that we were not going to be told that we weren't getting more unless I had asked. The man then returned to give us the blankets, wreaking of cigarettes again, another 2 hours later. When the maintenance man came to provide us with a propane tank, he entered the house without wearing a mask, and when I explained to him we have asthmatics and someone who is pregnant, he begrudgingly put it on and said he "just doesn't like wearing it". He switched out the propane tank but stated that igniter appeared to not be working but he "fixed it". After he left we attempted to use it and it was not fixed so we had to find different meals to cook. I have worked in customer service for over 15 years, I have never left a poor review because typically I can understand, but this was by far one of the worst customer experiences I have had. Between the attitude for having to provide the bare minimum for a house to function, the difficulty and lack of communication, the grill not working and us having to rearrange meal plans, the lack of consideration when entering a house full of strangers during a pandemic (regardless of your beliefs), all left a very sour taste in our month. The home was perfect, and the beach front made up for the lack of customer service. When renting a house from now on, I will avoid any Five Star is the property management company.

Aug 24,2020Great stay! Love the spacious rooms and kitchen. Our family would like to thank you for this awesome time we had at our stay. We had minor issues like the bathroom lights kept kicking out but nothing we couldn't fix ourselves. We enjoyed our stay here. Its a must for a big family.

Aug 24,2020The house was great and we really enjoyed the stay but the inability of the management company to make any important repairs (the outdoor kitchen areas) while we were there was disappointing. It has been 2 weeks since these items were reported and hopefully repairs have been made by now.

Aug 19,2020Our family had such an amazing week here. The house was in immaculate condition and the property management company was extremely responsive with any questions we had. The pool and private walk-way to the beautiful beach made for great days for us and our children--going back and forth from riding the waves to splashing in the pool. The balconies overseeing the pool allowed us to watch the beautiful waves and sunsets, while relaxing as a family. The kitchen and family room was the perfect space for us to spend time together while preparing/eating meals and then watching movies. The bedrooms were amazing; and the bunk room downstairs is a teenager's dream. Note: To access the bunk room from the main floors, you must go through the garage or outside by the pool area. That worked fine for us, but with younger kids, I would have been leery. We could not have been happier with our experience. It far exceeded our expectations; and we expect to book again next year!

Aug 19,2020House was more than we had expected. Location was great, short walk to beach, short drive to retail shopping. Even the bunk beds were conformable. House was well equipped, Supply of towels was a plus. It would have been nice to have additional key fobs required for beach entry. We were delayed 30/40 mins checking in because housekeeping was not finished. We would like to return next year.

Aug 19,2020House was very spacious. Kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, dishes and utensils. House cleaning could be a little better. Found items under furniture in bedrooms when moving chests to find plug-ins for phone chargers. House needs some outside updates especially steps going down to pool. We were disappointed the pool had not been cleaned before our arrival. It was green and mold on sides. We did call and pool people arrived next morning. Shocked the pool but sides still green. Short walk to beach. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas with a wagon. Overall; nice spacious home with great view from top.

Aug 27,2020We loved the property. Very high end finishes and it lives up to the name as a ‘Five Star Property’. However, I am only giving 4 stars for these reasons: The large windows that faced the pool area were not cleaned well. It looked as if something was smeared all over them, so it definitely detracted from the pool view. Also, I believe we were supposed to receive wristbands to use the clubhouse amenities with our rental, but there was no information in the property for that so we didn’t want to go through the trouble of pursuing. Overall, we really enjoyed the property, but the outdoor pool area has some layout flaws. The dining area is too far away from the kitchen, so it was difficult to transport meals to the outdoor dining area. Also, the outdoor dining area has no airflow - at all - so it felt like being in a pizza oven during the day. During the evening, we couldn’t benefit from any of the breeze as it is closed off on 3 sides, so any airflow was blocked. This is the 3rd time we’ve had a rental through Five Star and we were generally pleased, but there were a few letdowns in a couple of areas (window cleaning and clubhouse amenities). The property layout is mostly nitpicking as the layout cannot be easily changed. Some additional shading (deck umbrellas) would be useful during the hot July sun too. Loved the pool and hot tub. The convenience of the bike rentals was a nice perk.
