Jan 03,2023I was taken in by the reviews of many people here, giving the company positives. Unfortunately, the fact remains that many reviewers are usually scammers themselves and agents of the company. This company quoted me a price on their website and, based on reviews here, I booked with them yesterday. Shortly after, they rang to say the flights I’d booked were not available and that they would look for alternatives for me. Despite my frustrations that I was being quoted a significantly higher price than what I’d signed for, I still went ahead and they took debit card payments from me, after which THEY CONFIRMED THAT THE BOOKING HAD BEEN SUCCESSFUL WITH THE AIRLINE. Where I should have had suspicions was when they did not send me the ticket information/booking confirmation yesterday but I didn’t suspect anything. Today, they sent me an email offering me alternate flights were very much more expensive and pushing in my face the same Lufthansa they’d pushed without success yesterday. I have asked for a refund and you can be sure they’d say the refund would be in another 3 days, during which flights will get even more expensive. These people are cowboys and scammers. Don’t trust your flights to them. Go straight to the Airlines or more reputable Travel Agencies. Avoid Flighttrotters, Flightcatchers, Polani and their group. They are huge SCAMMERS!!! If you want to go ahead, feel free to but also be humble enough to come back here to apologise for not taking good advice, if (and when) you get your fingers burnt.
