I booked an All inclusive to a Adults only resort Dec 8 thru Dec 11 2022 to RIU Palace Antillas. When we arrived we were told they had overbooked the rooms and they put us up in one of their sister family resort for 2 nights and the 3rd and the last night we stayed at RIU Palace. I paid over 3k for this trip and didn't get what I wanted and paid for. Nothing against kids my husband is a school teacher and I wanted him to have a great vacation around Adults only.

Less than one percent. I have the directive over my mom and she got rushed to the emergency room last night and my reservation was for today. I canceled, because I'm human and she was released and American Airlines is ready to fly me tomorrow to PVR, but FunJet, told me that my reservation was 100% not refundable. Re-read this before booking with this company, really think about what I just said.

I booked a trip and spent over $3k on it through a travel agent and ended up having to cancel due to Covid. I was issued credits from Funjet and the agent failed to tell me that they expired (why do travel credits even expire when it’s YOUR money that wasn’t used???) so when I went to book a trip only a month after the credits “expired”, I wasn’t able to. I contacted Funjet to assist me with this and to sum it up in a few words, they basically told me to take it up with the agent and that they weren’t going to help. Not accommodating or caring at ALL. Do not waste your money on this awful company. Will be trying to file a dispute.

Update: someone finally reached out 3 weeks later and said they need 7-10 days to “look into it” Hopefully they really will! Reached out for help regarding the following trip booked through them and they never responded. Grand Oasis Hotel  Room 4520-S July 16-23, 2022 The GRAND OASIS - CANCUN is just about the WORST resort I have ever stayed in! We were so appalled by the fact that our room was full of BED BUGS!! thus our bodies full of bed bug bites. This was reported to the Manager on duty and the  "onsite doctor" confirmed it was indeed "Bed Bug" bites. We could not take a chance in bringing these disgusting bugs to our home, we had to TRASH everything in and including our suitcase. Unfortunately, once the medical office confirmed this was bed bug bites, we inspected the mattress and found the bed bug fecal matter around the edges.  This is not something housekeeping could have missed when they changed the sheets.  I took photos of the mattress which we will be  happy to share.  Also after notifying the front desk and asking them for a late checkout to deal with this situation, I was denied because they had someone else immediately checking into the room even after knowing it was infested with bed bugs.   Our saga started upon check-in. We booked and paid for two rooms with 2 beds in each and requested that: 1) they be near each other, 2) that each have 2 beds. Needless to say, we were given 2 rooms with 1 BED in each room.  How do you justify giving two grown men 1 bed to sleep in? Next, we booked this hotel because it was  an "all inclusive" resort. When we tried going to various restaurants we were told we had the wrong wrist band. Now, was that our fault? That was NEVER explained to us. Totally "false advertising" since we were NEVER given the CHOICE or made aware of two different levels of accommodation, and it says “all inclusive” all over your website.  So who do we hold accountable for this? The hotel? Our travel agent or  funjet vacations??? The hotels Customer Service was by far the worst we've ever experienced. - Continuing the drama, I got food poisoning from the restaurant at the GRAND OASIS. Again, confirmed by the doctor onsite (which cost me $200 US dollars). I was barely able to move, walk or talk from being so weak. I called down to the pharmacy for to order Electrolite drinks and no obne would bring it up.  There was no one to help, I had to go down to the desk myself.   After not eating or drinking for 24 hours, again called down for room service for some type of broth or bland food (ie. plain chicken or rice) and was  told "there is no room service in my building".  Because of the language difference, whenever I called and didn't get a person who spoke English fluently, they would just "HANG UP THE PHONE". I made no less than 20 calls attempting to get some help during my illness. It took over 2 hours to finally get something. Again, let me repeat, this was by far the  WORST resort in the world (not only Cancun). I have never been treated so poorly. I did NOT receive what I paid for and am requesting a FULL REFUND. This will NOT even cover the cost of all the clothes etc. that had to be disposed of due to the bed bugs. I hope to resolve this immediately with the Hotel, but if not I have no choice but to involve Finest Travel agency and Funjet vacations. I will add that Bill (from Finest Travel) was available to us and did also try reaching out to the hotel for help numerous times but received the same treatment I did.

Fraud and totally unacceptable customer service. If I could give negative stars I would. We are supposed to go to Greece, but these guys botched our reservations in both Athens and Santorini. Because we booked with these Ass Hats, the hotels told us to call Funjet to fix the issue. 3 days in a row calling and each time they mess up something else on our reservations. Notice how all the negative reviews have the same response from them. We will be lucky if we make it to Greece in two days with the correct reservations.

This company is horrible. My husband and had a heart attack in July, just came home on Aug 26th, he had major complications and almost did not make it he was put on an ECMO machine to oxygenate his blood a blood transfusion. Was hospitalized for 45 days. Dr said he will not be able to travel by Sept 12th and this company only offers a credit for future travel which they say I will have to pay even more. This is a medical emergency and I will be sueing this company in small claims court. This is totally unfair.

Funjet is holding on to a refund that I received from an airline. Despite efforts from my travel agent and even me calling in, I still have not received my refund. My next step will be a lawsuit.

Funjet is the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. This place changes their answer every time we make contact with them. They are liars, thieves and a**holes. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau, Federal trade commission, and my attorney general be'c this stupid company refuses to refund our travel credit. They initially said they would and have changed each time after that. It's been months. To say I hate this company is an understatement. They clearly thought I was kidding when I said I would make a complaint. I keep my word unlike them.

Funjet was awesome... HOWEVER the Royalton was awful. The service during our stay was horrendous, the escalators were inoperable, the ATMs malfunctioned, they did not have AC in any of the three rooms I had reserved for our family vacation of eight. We were handed off from one "so-called" manager to another. We were told to contact our travel agencies as they (Royalton) could not do anything about recompensing us for the three nights out of seven that we had zero AC. People were sleeping in the lobby. One excuse after another. AC will be on tomorrow or in a few hours, is what we told, only to never have it come on until 4 days after our departure. This company and its associates are willing to take your money and blame the travel agents. They said they were not authorized to provide any type of service offerings as it was above their pay grade. Ironically, there was NEVER anyone there that had authority and we spoke to three levels of management. They were good and passing on the complaints but nothing was ever resolved. The rooms we booked, were not what we received, getting hand towels in your room was difficult, the rooms were muggy and hot with zero AC. Henry the Bartender out at Hideaway pool was about the only customer friendly staff member they had... what an awful experience!!!!

Do not use, just book trip yourself! I had never used an agent before, so I thought I would try for a better experience. After testing positive with Covid I canceled our trip last minute because I was told I would receive flight credits and only be charged for 1 hotel night. After talking to a very rude customer service agent I was told they do not honor the airline’s cancellation policy and I was out of luck since I didn’t book through southwest. Very frustrating paying for your trip and Funjet keeps all your money.

NEVER again will we use funjet to book a trip. The hotel we selected in Cancun looked nothing like the pictures they advertised, showing beautiful tiny cabanas at the beach whe in reality they had dirty broken lounge chairs. Everything nice we wanted, was an upgrade of more than $200. Check in was over an hour and a half with people immediately trying to sell us upgrades. Our airline turned out to be Spirit (someone had warned me) but decided to book anyway, how bad could it be? It was a nightmare!!! First of all, when we booked the trip with funjet, it said seats were not available at the time. Finally, we were able to log in and select our seats, we had to pay for every seat rountrip, Austin to Cancun was not bad, but the return, they sent us to FL for a 2hr. layover, WHAT! then back to TX! we spent a total of $230 extra just on seats SMH! In addition to booking our trip through funjet, we also paid rountrip transportation to hotel. Arrival was no problem, we asked, do we need to call you to schedule our return? The driver immediately said, no señorita, we will be there at 7am to pick you up! My friend and I packed the night before to be ready, and ended up waking up at 5:45am, suddenly our phone rang and door man said, your driver is here, you ladies are late!!! We scrambled and ran downstairs only to find out the driver had left us behind!!!!!! A freakin nightmare, here we go again, extra $40 for a taxi to take us to airport. The excursions were a joke, the food was mediocre, and the entertainment a 1 star. Thank you, but no thank you funjet vacations, we will never do this package crap ever again. Folks, please remember and never forget, you get what you pay for!

DO NOT USE FUNJET VACATIONS!!! I have been dealing with them since I made the huge mistake of booking a trip to Hawaii, just before the COVID-19 outbreak in 2019. My trip to Oahu and Kauai was cancelled when the islands shutdown. I had two options; a full refund or I could leave my payment ($5900) on their books, and they would give me an additional $1500 as a travel credit. What they didn't tell me was if I did that, my original $5900 would be turned into non-refundable "travel credits". Long story short (unlike their phone calls!) We used $2900 to go to Cozumel last fall, and in December, they CANCELLED my $1500. Just took it away. When I asked for a refund for the remainder of the balance, they REFUSED. Today, I was on the phone with someone who speaks English as well as I speak Spanish, and it took 1 hr and 8 mins to make a 5 day reservation at a hotel in Gulf Shores. No flight. No rental car. Nothing but a hotel reservation. 1 hour and 8 minutes! And I couldn't be happier. My expierence with FunJet is at its precipice. No longer will I be robbed of my money and my time. So my original trip was a one week trip in Europe. 3 days in, the travel Agent and I began calling and emailing funjet to change the departure day. NO ONE answered our calls nor responded to our emails. 9 days later ( because I have a paper trail about my attempts to communicate with them and the airlines ) my travel agent receives the first call back and email response. She loops me in on the emails and she is told that the ticket date was moved to ✨May 21st ✨ . She is told that the return ticket is “ locked in” and that the ticket was rescheduled days earlier.- funjet agency doesn’t know why we were NOT made aware of the change AND new departure date - but we are assured that the new date is “LOCKED IN” and that the ticket is purchased ——- cut to May 21, 2022 —- I email my agent the night before stating that I didn’t receive a confirmation flight check-in email….. she is told that it should be connected to my arrival flight —- it’s not—- called the airlines —- the have nothing for me —- called funjet —— they are confused and state that I will have a ticket at the counter ——- now it’s 9am, the day of my flight ….. I give my passport to the ticket agent —— no ticket —- the airline agent sees a reservation “hold “ with my name on it—but —- the TICKET was NEVER PURCHASED—- funjet did not “ lock anything in” I had no RETURN ticket …. The ticket agent tells me that someone has to pay for that ticket - same day - SOMEONE has TO Pay for a SAME DAY INTERNATIONAL TICKET—- I call funjet —- am on the phone with them for two hours and all that they can do is verify that the return ticket was never actually purchased—— they literally are this 🤷🏾‍♀️ - I could understand if they told me that there was a change fee and adjusted my ticket —— but they didn’t make me aware of any change fees & on top of that … NO ONE COMMUNICATED with me nor my travel agent about changing the ticket dates nor that the ticket wasn’t even purchased —— while on the phone with funjet ( at the airport ) I asked “ how am I supposed to get home “ I was told to pay out of pocket —- 🤬 —- I said “ so if I didn’t have the funds to pay for a same day, international ticket, I would be stuck in Europe?” Their answer “ yes” —- I don’t just have money to burn and even if I did, they did not buy a ticket when they said that they had —— I want my departure ticket money back —- and please learn from me —— NEVER EVER BOOK with FUNJET ****also there phone lines are a joke—- 8/10 times that I’ve called I’m on hold for hours and the phone either hangs up or I’m just sitting in silence because there is no hold music - the travel agent doesn’t even want to work with them anymore

My wife and I booked a trip to St Lucia with FunJet. While we were in St. Lucia there was a major snow storm in the North East. Due to this, we had to move our return flight from Saturday, to Sunday. Our return flight had some hiccups and we ended up getting stuck in the Newark airport with the only option being to rent a car, and drive four hours home to Boston, MA at 1 am. We called JetBlue the next day and asked for a refund because of the inconveinance and not making our connecting flight. They told us they had refunded us close to $400 and we would see it in 7-10 days. Once 10 days passed, we called again to see where the refund was. They told us it was sent, and gave us the last four digits of the card it was sent to. Unfortunately, it wasn't our credit card, and it was someone from FunJet. A FunJet sales rep confirmed this was their card to our travel agent. This is where it gets bad. We have been trying to get our money back since February 1st. They continually tell us that they do not have the refund (which is a lie), and that this is a problem with JetBlue. It is now three months of them holding onto money that is not theirs. They are 100% using stalling tactics in hopes that we "forget" about this refund so they do not have to pay us. Luckily, being an employee at TripAdvisor, I have the platform to be able to tell a broad reach of people that they should never use this company. This is a complete scam and they are keeping money that is ours.

SCAMMERS!!! They present themselves as airline on Expedia, show nonexistent flights and then give you whatever they have and if that does not work for you, they tell you have to pay cancellation fees! They scam people and then clients have to pay the cancelation fees when even airline is not charging that!! Total scam!!! Reported both Funjet and Apple Vacations to BBB as those two scam companies are affiliated. P.S./ FUNJET, I AM TRYING TO TALK TO YOU, 1.5hours on April 8th, 3.5hours April 11th.. today, April 12th, almost an hour until your agent hang up on me AGAIN! Your managers are always “in meeting” and then “left for a day”.. all same excuses, no help!! So you asking for me to contact you, is ridiculous! You see my email address, YOU CONTACT ME TO FIX THE MESS YOUR AGENT MADE!

We booked this Aruba trip and American canceled the flight, then our rescheduled process is our agent calling Funjet....BUT YOU HAVE RO HOLD 2-4 HOURS TO GET A LIVE PERSON, BY THEN THE DANG DAY IS GONE. Funjet confirmation# GB3221E3, Laura and Brian Walker

I would never use Funjet vacations ever again and recommend that no one use them. My husband and I had originally booked a Hawaii vacation through Funjet vacations in early 2021 and scheduled our trip for September 2021. We had to cancel in early September 2021 due to COVID - our trip was to start on September 15, 2021. We re- booked our trip for March 2022 on November 19, 2021( almost 4 months prior to departure). We carefully chose our seats for all of our flights going and returning from Hawaii because it is an extremely long flight (11 + hours one way) from our east coast home. We chose a window and aisle seat rather than be in the middle of the plane where there are 4 seats together. We also upgraded our seats for the flight home. These seats were confirmed as on November 26, 2021(3 + months prior to departure). Twenty four hours before we were to start our trip March 9, 2022 we checked in to Hawaiian airlines to print our boarding pass and all our seats had been changed!! We spent 90 minutes on the phone with Hawaiian airlines who said they could not help us get our preferred seating because they had not made the change but Funjet Vacations had made the change to our seat assignments. And now the day before the flight - the flight was completely full. Needless to say we were not happy and this was not the way to start our long awaited trip that had already been postponed earlier. We called our Travel agent who uses Funjet vacations and there was nothing that could be done. I at least expected and asked for an explanation from Funjet and received nothing- no response, no explanation. I so wish I had read all the reviews about Funjet vacations as just about all the reviews are negative. I never would have used them and I never will again.

If I could give this company a -100 star I would. My husband and I went through a local travel agency that works with funjet vacations, to book a trip to Mexico for my 30th birthday. This would’ve been the first time we’ve ever left the country. Unfortunately our whole family ended up with Covid and I ended up with Covid pneumonia and was in and out of the hospital for 3 weeks. My doctors advised me to cancel my Mexico trip for my health and safety. We were super upset but knew we were covered since we purchase travel protection plus. Unfortunately we were uninformed. We asked for our money back and were told that we only purchase the lowest level of travel protection plus. Neither funjet or our travel agency disclose the information that there were other levels of insurance that could be bought. That information was withheld from us. Funjet vacations and our travel agency that works with them has shown no transparency and have done nothing to resolve this matter and has not taken any responsibility for their bad add. It is posted everywhere on their website that if you purchase travel protection plus you can cancel for any reason at any time and receive a full refund in the original form of payment. What they failed to tell you as if you don’t pay the $300 per person for it your crap out of luck. I’ve read hundreds of reviews on other websites all saying the same thing. This company should be ashamed of themselves. This place will swindle you out of every dollar you have. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM OR ANY AGENCY THAT DOES!!!

I accidentally cancelled my trip when I was trying to find out the policy on canceling. I immediately called to say it was accident and wanted my trip re-instated. They either kept hanging up on me or dropped the call. I called at least 5 times. I spent over $550.00 And they only want to give me $12.00 back and no travel credit. Asked to speak to supervisor and was put on hold for 40 minutes only for them to come back and say no supervisor available, not shocked. How can you keep all these fees that are called tourism tax and mexico fees and 911 fees if I ACTUALLY NEVER WENT THERE!? Too bad these people can keep stealing money and nothing is done about it. I will be contacting Mexican authorities to see if the fees for their country were fowarded to them from no fun jet. Otherwise I would have to call this fraud. NEVER EVER use this company!!

My family and I booked a vacation package through Funjet from Philadelphia to Cancun. Our return flight was canceled by the airline due to weather. We did not receive any notice from either airline nor funjet in regards to this cancellation. I attempted to contact funjet to get assistance with this issue, and wait times were a minimum of 90+ minutes!! After both my wife and I waited 90 minutes, we were informed that the wait time was still at least 75 minutes! These wait times are clearly unacceptable. We then requested a call back and never received a call back. We were fortunate enough to be able to book return flights at another time, but had to pay for them ourselves. Upon returning home, I attempted to contact funjet on multiple occasions, however it seems that it is purposely difficult to find the “after travel” department. There is no direct number at which they can be contacted, therefore you must call the general line, wait at least 30 minutes to be assisted, then they require you to be transferred to the after travel department, which is another 80-90 minute wait. The call back service failed on multiple attempts. I also requested an email to be able to contact this department, and was provided with a dead end email address. The address they provided DOES NOT exist, and you will receive an immediate “failure to deliver” message from your email provider. Once I finally was able to communicate with an actual representative of the after travel department, they were very apologetic and wanted to help, but were incapable of offering any real solutions to my issue. I was assured I would receive an email soon after our conversation, however, it has currently been over 5 hours and I have received no such correspondence. This is clearly a situation where the systems set up assist with after travel issues are extremely poor. The customer service is severely lacking and requires drastic improvements. I would never book travel through funjet again, and could not recommend their services to any travelers. I hope this helps.
