Excellent service from start to finish
Ordered the Malta corner sofa on Monday the 7th of June. Selected my delivery of Thursday the 10th. Communication was excellent and the sofa was delivered on time. Fantastic product, fantastic service, fantastic. Highly recommended.

Arrived on time as described
After missing out on new garden furniture last year I decided to get ahead of the game and order early. I found exactly what I wanted at Gardenman, paid and placed an order on 6th April. I then spoke to 4 people prior to the delivery date making sure it was still on time and there were no problems, even on the day of delivery, 21st May. Guess what? It never arrived and worse than that it hadn’t even been ordered, and worse than that they weren’t expecting it in stock until October earliest. Not a lot of use for the summer. I now have no garden furniture and little prospect of getting what I want. After several phone calls customer services phoned me back and were very sympathetic but offered no compensation for the inconvenience and upset for their appalling cock up. To add insult to injury their system said the furniture had been dispatched even though when I called and told them I hadn’t received a delivery slot I was told to wait in from 8am-6pm which I did for absolutely no reason. Their attitude to their mistakes is shocking, the owner Andrew Kerry wouldn’t even speak to me just conveyed his arrogance via his team. Whatever happened Andrew to “Sometimes the best way to ensure things are done well is to do it yourself” quote from Furniture news 2012. Obviously Andrew is now too big to speak to his clients. Don’t use this company or his other one Mattressman….simply shocking service!
I’ve been looking for a corner sofa since the beginning of the year and noticed an advert in a magazine for Gardenman. I visited their website and was immediately impressed with the range of garden furniture and the price point was good to. At this stage I thought I would do a little further investigation and visited Trustpilot as I’d never heard of the company. To my disappointment there were a lot of negative comments on there, delivery issues, stock outs etc. This particular corner sofa was just what I’d been looking for so I decided to ring Gardenman. My call was answered by a very polite gentleman called Ryan. I explained that I was interested in making a purchase but had been put off by the complaints on Trustpilot. He explained the reasons behind this; the pandemic, problems getting stock from China, the Suez Canal incident and of course Brexit. He said stock was now sitting in the warehouse in Lowestoft. He sounded very genuine so I decided to place the order Friday (4th June) Monday (7th) delivered!! From placing the order to delivery I received 3 text messages keeping me informed of the progress of my order. Absolutely love it. Well packaged, well constructed, minimal assembly, plump removable cushions. Well done Gardenman. You have just put the “great” back into Great Britain this morning! Keep up the good work.
Excellent service and delivery
Simple enough transaction and whilst delivery went wrong, recovery was fantastic. Basically order placed March, delivery date May, emails updating the order progress then email to advise delivery on the 18th May. That came and went so contacted them and they advised order was still in the warehouse (despite the update advice). Gentleman advised that he would experdite the order and delivery would be ext day. Good to his word the table and chairs arrived the next day.
Another week has passed and neither have garden man contacted me nor bothered replying to this post. Seems pretty similar for all the rest of the complains here. Instead of addressing their customers genuine concerns it seems they have resorted to plastering this page with 5* reviews and all of them come in batches on the same day within a few hours, very convenient but quite transparent. Will complain to trading standards today and have my lawyers on to them.
Ordered a Rattan garden furniture cover for our Barcelona suite. Came within a couple of days and fits like a glove. Absolutely perfect. 😊😊

Jun 10,2021I received my order of a parasol yesterday which should have been black as ordered. The box said it was black but when we opened the box we found it was grey. They don’t answer their phone so I’ve emailed on the link of previous email advising them of the mistake, but no one has contacted me. Very disappointed with their customer service. I shall have to resort to contacting trading standards shortly
