Geo Green Power was established to enable investment into renewable energy research and development and our original focus was solar PV for homes and businesses.

Mar 25,2024From my initial contact with Geo Greenpower right through to the completed service was a simple and efficient process. Marie kept me informed and managed to reschedule the appointment without drama. The engineer (Arthur) was on site at 0800 as arranged. Carried out a full and effective service on our 7 year old GSHP, identified and rectified a number of issues whilst on site and provided a full written report. Arthur was happy to fill in my knowledge gaps around the system which is a big help. A great company to work with and I have no problem at all leaving a 5* review. We'll be using them again without hesitation.

Jan 29,2024Last year I booked Geogreen to do a service of my air source heat pump. The initial booking in was no issue, however a day or two before the engineer arrived, the service manager, the service manager, emailed to say there had been a problem with my appointment, they would reschedule. Thinking that was that, I arranged to go out on the original day. As I was leaving the house, I met the Geogreen engineer. I told him I thought he’d been cancelled and that I was on my way out, we’d need to rearrange. What followed was a saga of how not to communicate with customers with the service manager, and then the service administrator failing entirely to arrange a new appointment over many months. It made me think that if I ever go into business that it would be lovely to not need new customers or to be able to employ people who turn money away from my company. It was just awful, after email after email and assurances they’d book me in, they just miserably failed. I got it done by someone else, who replied to their email, came when they said they would and didn’t mess me about. You may get lucky with these folks, but my experience has been that if anything doesn’t go according to plan, they just can’t cope with it. I wouldn’t leave my hot water in the hands of people like that. ***** UPDATE **** The day after I posted this review, the company complained to Trust Pilot that I had included names in the review - I have edited them. They didn’t contact me to apologise or explain themselves. They didn’t even contact me to ask this themselves. Ask yourself - do you want to do business with a company who can’t even arrange a visit and whose response to that is stage management and not putting anything right?

Dec 15,2023This is the second time we have used Geo Green. Our solar panels were fitted in 2019 and now we have added a battery in October 2023. As can be the case with new technology there were teething issues which necessitated extra visits. But these were efficiently arranged by the office staff and the engineers always turned up when expected, which is always a bonus. Everyone was extremely polite and very patient when trying to explain technical things to a non-technical person - me! All is now up and running and I am a happy bunny. I would add a helpful hint to new customers that if you change your internet provider or get a new router then check with Geo Green as the boxes on the wall connect through your internet connection and you won't get any data on your system if they are not updated.

Nov 03,2023Geo Green fitted a Tesla solar battery storage unit for us in conjunction with our existing solar panels. They honoured our request to fit the unit under the stairs cupboard which meant man handling the heavy box through the house. They were efficient and friendly in answering all our questions and instructing us on how to use the unit and the accompanying phone app. On completion they even cleaned up after the installation. Later when we changed electricity suppliers, I requested help from Geo Green on a technical matter which the electric company needed. Geo Green had no problems helping with my enquiry and promptly drew up a schematic for my new suppliers. We were very pleased with the installation, and the way the Tesla storage box performs plus their kindness in helping with the schematic. So, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Jun 23,2023After years trying to find a company who would service our air source heat pump even though they had not installed it, (the installer went out of business in 2010 shortly after fitting the ASHP), I found Geo Green Power. I left them a message on Sunday, they replied on Monday and the service completed on Wednesday. The engineer did a fantastic job. It now looks like, and performs, as though it was a brand new installation. I will definitely use them for the annual service in the future. Highly recommended.

Apr 19,2023Setting up home generation systems combining Solar, EV and Battery isn't simple, so I was looking for reassurance from a larger provider with a process and team that would would provide support. I have found both Sales, Project co-ordination, Accounts and Installation from Geo Green have worked well together to give a smooth overall process. Great to have the EV charging directly from the Solar Panels and the Battery to reduce peak electricity rates.

George was very professional and knowledgeable and pointed out a number of improvements to my heating system. Would highly recommend Geo Green Power.

Mar 15,2023In 2014 I had a 10k solar system installed, from the inspection team to the installation team I would give 5 stars to them all. In 2016 I had a battery system installed once again I would give 5 stars. In the last two years I had two problems with the system, the first was a problem with a piece of equipment from the initial installation, when the system wasnt registering on the meter, after a week I contacted you, eventually after about three weeks someone turned up to check the system, although it was found it was still under warranty, for some unknown reason it started working again, no explanation was ever given. The second situation was approx three weeks ago, my sunnyboy had stopped working, but this might have been due me having a new router installed, after contacting you again I got no help, after a week it seemed to right itself, (whether the router was the problem who knows) so your back up service I would give 1 star.
