Jan 13,2025Possible scam ! I ordered a pushchair that was advertised at 80% off I thought it would be too good to be true mans turns out it is. Payment came from my card and all they did was to send me bk to the page to place the order again. No confirmation email or anything. So this website as I presumed before is not legit!

Nov 07,2024I bought a vax steam cleaner that was promptly delivered. Unfortunately it was faulty and wouldn’t steam. As soon as Gerald Giles were informed (Shani) organised for the machine to be returned and after a few days I was fully refunded. I would use this company again as they are straight forward to deal with especially when something goes wrong, and their aren’t that many companies you can say that about!

Jul 17,20241st time I have purchased one of the numatic hoovers, GVE370 WET AND DRY. used it 3 times and suddenly it stopped working, I rang GERALD GILES Norwich to ask for help but I was told to ring Numatic UK as i was out of warranty by 1 day, (lost out on warranty by 1 day due to leap year, having an extra day this year.) NUMATIC UK said the product was 3 years old going by the serial number so I was told to go back to the seller (GERALD GILES Norwich) After sending plenty of emails and telephone calls I got nowhere with any of the 2 parties. £243 wasted therefore will not BUY or RECOMMEND any of their products again. I had offered that i did not want a refund or full unit being replaced, only the faulty part, Plus I had offered to pay the shipping costs from my pocket but I was denied.

May 31,2024I was looking to buy a new Dyson hoover and saw an advert come up for Gerald Giles with an excellent price for the model I wanted. I'd never heard of them before and was a little wary as it was a lot cheaper than elsewhere. I saw the reviews though and ordered it and it was brilliant - the hoover came the next day, all in perfect order and I'm delighted with it and the price. Very good service and would certainly recommend!

The website clearly listed when it would be in-stock again and I was able to preorder. I was informed when it had arrived (on time) and it was delivered to me next working day. Would definitely use this company again and recommend to others.

The service has surpassed what I'd expect from a larger retailer, the item arrived quickly and - best of all - the price was excellent. Overall a great experience - give them a try!

Dec 19,2023Never heard of Snellings / Gerald Giles before, but was looking for a KitchenAid Stand Mixer for several weeks. Spent ages researching models and prices all over the web, which is when I saw Gerald Giles had a fantastic price for the mixer I wanted. The whole order process was fast, efficient and not issues whatsoever. The delivery info was timely and tracking info supplied the next day (I ordered late one evening) and was delivered with 3 days as quoted. The products were well-packaged and there were no issues at all. I only had to ring customer services up once to answer a query on microwaveability of an accessory and we worked the answer out between us. Very polite staff and so overall I would highly recommend them. The price was the best I could anywhere and the accessory I bought in addition was currently half the price KitchenAid were selling it. I highly recommend them, thanks for a great worry free experience.

Sep 14,2023We didn’t know that Gerald Giles existed. They came up while looking for a freezer. We called them up because we we unable to order the freezer online because it was a first order and we needed it sent to our new address as we were moving. The service was excellent they just put the order through for us and it was delivered in a couple of days. Two men delivered it and were very friendly and polite. 10 out of 10 thank you Gerald Giles. I will definitely buy from them again and would definitely recommend them.

Aug 09,2023I had been thinking about getting a Kitchen-aid Mixer, and saw that they (Kitchen-aid ) had one on offer for 30% off. Delivery was 3-5 days. But they where out of stock... Did a search on the web and found that Snellings had one (in the colour I actually wanted) for almost the same price . It turned up next day, which would have cost me £20 at KA, so the price was almost the same. Very happy with Gerald Giles (Snellings) , will look at them again :)

Jun 30,2023My historical experience with these guys is pretty good, but having signed up to their subscription service for supplies I'm very disappointed by the lack of notice. They don't warn you that our subscription is coming up, so you can cancel if you don't need it, they just automatically dispatch it, take the money and tell you afterwards. No great.
