From start to finish, my process with GiveGradAGo, lasting around a month in total, and working with Cat (Catherine Watkins) in particular have been nothing short of ideal. I had an initial phone conversation with Cat where we discussed my CV in detail and the opportunity that she thought I might be a good fit for. Following this initial conversation, I went through a few rounds of interviews with the employer, all of which were backed by prep sessions and follow-up calls with Cat. It’s safe to say that Cat went above and beyond to ensure I was well informed, prepared, and reassured at all points throughout the application process. Her professionalism and empathetic nature, as well as her responsiveness, readiness to offer support, and great advice, have made me feel at ease at each stage of interviews, boosting my confidence. I have definitely never met another recruiter so kind, attentive, and professional. Although I have just started my new position, after a week I can already tell what a fantastic fit this role truly is for me, and acknowledge how unlikely it would have been for me to come across an opportunity like this, or indeed secure such a nice position, has it not been for Cat. Working with GAGAG has been an overwhelmingly positive experience, and I could not recommend Cat or the agency enough.
I applied for a job through Give A Grad A Go with the help of Anna Bainbridge. She was immensely helpful in the whole process, and I eventually got the job thanks to her guidance and support! Couldn’t recommend enough - thank you!
David was absolutely incredible. He was able to find a job that was completely suited to what I want to do and was very supportive along the whole journey, even after I had been offered the job! I can’t thank him enough, very highly recommended!
Give A Grad A Go is an Amazing service and are very helpful and efficient. I secured a job in just a week! Christie Brooks especially has been fantastic to work with. She guided me through the interview process and provided tips and advice to ensure I was happy and confident. I could not have done it without her. I appreciate all her help. I would definitely recommend GAGAG if you’re currently on your job search.
I signed up to Give A Grad A Go at the start of October after a few deflating months of unsuccessfully applying for graduate roles. I received a call within minutes of creating my profile to discuss what I was looking for and the next day, I got a call from Liam about a role. He was really helpful throughout the interview process with regular communication, which made it really easy for me to focus on my interview prep etc. It was only 3 weeks after that initial call with Liam that he called with the good news that I’d been offered the job. It had been such a slow process of job hunting before I signed up for GAGAGO, but only 6 weeks later I’ve got my first day at my new job! If you are a recent graduate and you’re not having any luck in the job market, you should definitely get in touch with GAGAGO.
Give A Grad A Go (in particular Anna Bainbridge) have been incredibly helpful and supportive through the entire process. I've had a real mix of experience with recruitment services, and GAGAG are without doubt the best. Thank you so much Anna!
I only signed up to their website in August, and was recently offered a job that I was suggested to apply to by Phoebe. Her communication throughout the whole interview process was amazing and very helpful, and professional. They are a great recruitment agency who take the time to get to know their grads and make you feel confident and encouraged throughout. I would not have had this opportunity without them, it is definitely worth signing up to their page!
Without GAGAGO and the amazing Rachel Forest I honest don't know where I'd be after graduating from university. From the first phone call to the very last email conversation, Rachel was so helpful and supportive giving her all to ensure I had every possible opportunity to embark on a new chapter of my life, providing me with all the relevant information, tips, tricks and supportive words to boost my confidence during the interview and presentation stages. I cannot be more thankful for everything. P.s sorry for the late review I've been extremely busy in my new role.... but I'm enjoying every second!!
Give a Grad a Go helped me secure a job in less than 2 weeks!! Lottie was a massive help throughout the entire process and I honestly could not have secured it without her. From the first call she was super friendly and knowledgable and was always available to help. She talked me through the entire process and have me detailed briefs/ instructions as to how to prepare for next stages. Thank you Lottie!!
Looking for my first job in London fresh out of University wasn't always the funnest thing. I often felt like I didn't know what I was doing wrong or right and was very much hapless in the face of this at times often daunting task. Randomly sending them my CV, I got a call from Sam Hickson, Team Lead at Give a Grad a Go, the very next day and he walked me through the entire application process of what turned out to be a great opportunity for a first job, one I probably would otherwise only have glanced over amidst a myriad of advertisements. Providing a lot of information and context and interview guidance, I really felt supported and genuinely cared for, which is a great personal touch in comparison to the many others, often very pushy recruiters I had been in contact before. Truly a great experience with this company!
GAGAGO are a fantastic agency to work with when looking for a new job as a graduate. I cannot praise Phoebe and Izzy enough as they were so supportive and friendly throughout the whole process. I would 100% recommend GAGAGO to anybody!
Joe and Jake were both super helpful in helping me secure my grad job, checking in at each stage and sending tips and advice for each interview I had, couldn't recommend them enough!
Christie was amazing and represented me very well. All information given was clear and precise. Very grateful for the support. Thank you
I would really recommend working with Give A Grad A Go. I had been looking for a graduate roll for months and managed to find one after two weeks of signing up to the agency. I worked with Rachel Forrest who was so helpful throughout the whole process, keeping me calm throughout the interview stages and helping me get my dream job! Thanks again :)
I can't say enough good things about Saira! After finishing university a year ago, I took a year to work in hospitality whilst looking for my first graduate job. Any graduate knows it can be a disheartening process with more rejections than offers, I'd nearly given up hope until one of my colleagues recommended Give A Grad A Go. I applied to a few roles that I thought might be of interest and within a couple of days Saira gave me a call about my application. She was absolutely incredible, unlike any other recruiter I had previously worked with. Always checking up on me every step of the job application process. Bless her when it came to my presentation I was so nervous and worried about doing it, she spent an hour on the phone giving me little pep talks and ideas even though she had no idea about engineering! When it came to the final stage she called to see how my presentation went and was so proud when I said it went well. Swiftly after she called to say I'd been successful and got offered the job; I think I nearly cried! I loved chatting with her and I'm so glad I got to do this process with her because she was an absolute dream. I'm actually disheartened I don't get to chat with her anymore because we got on so well and she's such a lovely person. Like I said at the start I can't say enough about her. If you get the chance to work with her know you're in VERY capable and good hands.
GAGAGO was such a helpful and effective service, providing me with the upmost support and reliable intel with great communication. I was able to work with lovely people who assisted me throughout my experience of finding a job as well as helping me step by step, and I can safely say I am over the moon with their service. Would definitely recommend, I am beyond grateful.
Really good website for recent grads! Had good selection of jobs perfect for grads as they weren’t asking for loads of experience. They were super responsive especially Rachel. Helped with prep for all stages of the interview :)
I myself graduated university in Summer of 2021. I decided this year was the time for me to take on a role in my field of study (IT). I came across Give a Grad a Go's listing and decided to apply for the role. Throughout the process of my application Sam Hickson briefed me well on the upcoming stages and how to prepare for them. Sam was patient and was able to prove clarity over situations and was able to work around my working hours as I had a retail job. Calls missed would be followed by an informative email of what’s going on. With the support of Sam, I was able to progress well through my application. Thanks to this platform I am now able to start my career with an amazing company. I believe Give a Grad a God fills the gap between grads and employers. The extra support makes a huge difference and I’m really grateful for it. I would like to Thank Sam and Give a Grad a Go for their amazing platform and service.
I had several opportunities given to me by GiveAGradAGo and I finally landed a job with their help only taking me a month of job searching. The whole processes was made easy and stress free gaining regular feedback to increase my chances. I’d like to specifically thank Sam as he was the one with me through every step giving guidance and preparation on the interviews.
