Whilst all the above are truthful statements the real reason is, when I needed them - they were there, above and beyond what I could have expected. Nov 16,2024Straightforward to deal with and easy to use the website. Only reason we left was because we sold the boat. Refund was made in a timely manner. A survey is insisted on every 10 years even on a very small river boat of low value.

Nov 16,2024I have my Canal boat and my Sailing yacht insured with GJW. This spring I had my first claim. The yacht came off her mooring in a heavy storm and needed a tow back by a salvage company. It was paid straight away with no fuss. When you ring GJW, there is always a helpful human on the other end. That's the only boat insurance you need.
