Nov 13,2024My boat was attacked by Orca in the Giraltar Straits damaging the rudder and self steering. GJW were very helpful and handled the claim efficiently dealing with me and the boatyard in La Linea, Spain. Their support with this unhappy incident was excellent.

Nov 13,2024I've been with GJW for about 13 years now. We've had one claim in that time, in year 2. It was paid straight away with no fuss. The premium did not go up noticeably after it either. Whenever I've contacted them I've managed to speak to a helpful, empowered human being in the UK, without being on hold forever and without navigating a voicemail tree. If only all insurance companies were like GJW!

Nov 13,2024After using them twenty years for insurance they now want a full survey in order to continue insuring my boat. This will cost hundreds of pounds (more than a thousand) and there is no mention of how often I will need to do this again in the future. Absolutely ridiculous waste of money so will find another insurer. My advice? Look elsewhere!!

Nov 13,2024A one time advert by another company used to claim not to make a drama out of a crisis. This company handled what was a crisis following a lightning strike with speed and common sense and I was afloat again without missing any of the 2022 season. Highly recommend! (Ignore the date below)
