While no other parties were involved and I half expected cover to be declined, the staff at GJW were completely understanding and professional. I could not have been better served. The exam question is 'would I use them again?' and the answer is YES, every time. In sum, its rather like being a member of the RNLI, guaranteed service and 100% support. Thank you for being there.

Dec 17,2024We have insured our boat with GJW for more than 20 years and are very happy with them. PREMIUMS: Our premiums rise with inflation (fair enough) but the inflation-adjusted premium has been pretty much flat for 20 years. OK, it did go up when my wife and I wanted to sail across the Atlantic to the Caribbean/South America for a couple of years but when we came back it went back down to less than it was before. SERVICE AND CLAIMS: We had a major incident in Sicily some years ago when our boat broke free in a storm and caused multiple third party damage. GJW just picked up the bill and sorted it all - no fuss. I just wish they did house and car insurance too!
