I ordered aluminium French doors and sidelines, as well as another glass door from the company. I found Glass Openings online. As they were not too far, I visited their workshop and spoke to their customer service representative. I did this just to see the quality of their work. I was quite impressed by the products I saw. I was also able to take a small section of the profile for the builders to work with. The company was helpful when I put the order through and kept me updated while we were waiting. The doors were delivered safely and well wrapped, right on time. The doors are of a very good quality and look beautiful. Our builders were very impressed both with the quality and with the reasonable price we paid for them.

Ordered bifold doors and aluminium windows for my house from glass openings. My local suppliers were coming in thousands more. I was worried when placing the order as saw some negative reviews online. But I must say I am glad I ordered from glass openings as not only did I get my items before due date but also saved thousands. Do not use this company if you want to receive your correct order on time. 5 week delivery time, delivered in 12 weeks all totally wrong. Magnetic blinds with pull cords, frames for right hand side sent left hand side. Awful customer service.
We ordered a two door bifold and from start to finish was excellent. Product was delivered on time, fitted with no problems and looks great. Communication was excellent by phone and emails so we could check to see all requirements were met. Many thanks
I ordered bespoke bifold doors and was very pleased with the quality of the doors I received. There was an issue with one of the doors and the after sales team took care of the problem and rectified it by sending a replacement door. The service engineer Amit who came to deliver the doors and fit the replacement door was very professional, polite and tidy with his work. I was very pleased with how the after care issue was sorted and fixed by Amit. I would highly recommend this company and their service. Many thanks!
I have ordered 6 windows from Glass Openings that were delayed several times due to production issues. When the windows did finally arrive, 2 were not on delivery, 2 were not according to specifications (not fire escape as ordered) and the other two appeared fine at first glance. When fitters arrived, they double checked the widow sizes and started fitting the 2 windows that appeared ok only to realise that the glass units are at least 10mm too large to fit the frames. The old window could not be reinstated so I ended up with a floor length boarded up whole downstairs and a £600 fitters bill. The second window that appeared fine had the opposite issue; glass unit was too small resulting in a gap between the glass and frame. Never have I even thought an error of this magnitude is possible! The frames themselves are of an appalling quality too, neither of the corners align, large gaps etc. The company was very apologetic over the phone the day I reported these issues and greed to cancel the windows not yet delivered, collect what’s delivered and issue a refund, however, never saw a refund or had response to my emails and they have stopped taking my calls ever since. The whole experience left me so traumatised I don’t think I will ever order online again. Update: refund was later issued.
What is otherwise a promising retailer is let down by a disconnect between manufacturing and customer service. I chose to order a tall three panel UPVC window from Glassopenings as they offer larger window frames than standard, as well as more modern slimline frames. I was given a delivery estimate which overran by a couple of weeks and I began to chase up my order. Each time I called I was told they were waiting for this that and the other. It was something different every time I called and this went on for at least a couple of weeks. The customer service representative promised to call me back with an update on every occasion, but I never received a call. This happened three or four times. After each call, I was left with the impression of a severe disconnect between the factory and the customer-facing team. This was highlighted when a manager who did call me back (after a prompt) had to physically visit the factory to establish whether my window was ready for dispatch. I do appreciate that there are supply problems across the economy and construction has been hit hard. My review does not solely reflect delays in receiving my order. It does however reflect the frustration at the poor communication and ultimately the message I received when I reported that my window was faulty and one of the glazed units had been manufactured so that it did not fit the frame properly. This was the message: '....Please allow three - five working days to recieve a response. An after sales ticket will be raised for your request. Any aftersales that requires a service engineer will be added to the engineer call out list. This can take up to four - five weeks to arrange (depending on the current lead time). Given the current situation we are working tirelessly to arrange service engineers however, we are running on a reduced service and will appreciate your patience at this given time...' Four to five weeks????? I am glad to say an engineer was dispatched within 10 days of my formal request for the window to be put right. The missing gasket was fitted on site within a few minutes.
The quality of the doors supplied by Glass Openings is amazing. Including the builders fitting everyone has commented on the durability and finish. I’ve purchased 3 panel and 2 panel bifolds on separate occasions simply because they’re incredibly good value at a very reasonable price. Someone tried to break into my house recently and tried to gain access through the 3 panel bifolds. They used a shovel to prise between the folds and a crowbar to push between the render and the locking door.The glass took several impacts and didn’t break……..and no one managed to get in🙌…….I’ve just ordered new ones from Glass Openings…..regardless of areas that could be improved within the business……10/10 for supplying a product I can rely on!!!!…..thank you Glass Openings!
Possibly the worst service I have ever received from a company clearly struggling after Covid. They admit their website is misleading. If you are happy to put up with not meeting delivery times, repeated cancellations and stroppy management when asked to rectify / help then fill your boots with this company. Otherwise I am sure the product is OK (not made by them btw_ but if you need any kind of help/after service/advice then avoid like the plague. A lot of money down the drain
Excellent service both from technical sales and delivery. I did have a small issue with just one glass panel, no fuss, a replacement was sent out and fitted. Again the service staff were excellent
Ordered some bespoke French doors from glass openings, the ordering procedure was very easy, followed up by a confirmation phone call.the doors arrived approximately 5 weeks later. we'd decided to fit the doors ourselves & found the fitting reasonably easy, looks a great quality product made even better with the internal blinds. would definitely recommend.
Overall I have found all my dealings with Glass Openings to be excellent, the product has been of a high standard, service has been good and all at a reasonable price. I have had some issues, but these can happen with any company and the key thing is how a company responds in my opinion. In all cases Class Openings have been quick to respond and take responsibility with out question. I bought 3 windows and some french doors for a garden office and would definitely use them again.
Excellent product good value for money, i liked that its all UK manufactered incl the glass. You have looked at the rest now buy the best. Would buy again as we are property developers.

This company is excellent, great product and service. They are very helpful nothing is too much trouble, I dealt with Tania who was polite and very knowledgeable. I liked them so much I purchased a window to match my bifold door, I have no issues giving a 5 star review.
