I asked for Style No. SW194 I got Style No. HW614 1st one is Jubilee 2nd is Celebration both are same color, width etc. so it worked out in the end EDIT - I do not want to infer that I was sent the wrong product, Shaw is confusing (for me) yet in the end we got the right stuff

Feb 13,2020The price and quality of the hardwood floors is wonderful. It was easy to place my order. I was able to call and speak directly with a representative each time I had a question or concern. The reason I'm rating them a 4 and not a 5 is completely based on their delivery service. It is UPS freight and is delivered CURBSIDE. This was not once explained to me and my driveway is 200 ft up hill. The drive called 30 mins before delivery and asked if we had a forklift to get the material off his truck?! The only reason this delivery ended up being a success is because my contractor, and 2 other friends working on the house were there to unload and cary 1,300 sq ft of material into my house! If you are looking to order a small amount and have a short driveway, the price and quality are worth it. I was very lucky to have the support needed in order to make this a successful delivery.

Feb 07,2020the website said that they had about 1600 square feet of the wood I ordered in stock. I ordered 213 square feet and was told the next day that it was out of stock and that the manufacturer is no longer making the wood. Very disappointing since the week before I had just ordered a sample and they didn't say anything when they sent me the sample either. They told me that they could replace it with their own brand but the coloring is different and it was not satisfactory to me. Very disappointed with this company.

Jan 29,2020Pricing and transaction was excellent. There was some confusion as to pick up location, which was resolved in short order. The transition strips that they said would work for my application - did not. To this they would not accept the return of these pieces, so was forced to pay for something that was not usable. This was a dissapointment.

Jan 23,2020The hardwood is beautiful and the price was great. Spoke with Jeremy on a few occasions; he was very helpful. The flooring arrived on time and the shipping company did a great job. The man that delivered the floor was exceptionally helpful. Only had one problem and that was that one of the boxes was open. Four pieces had fallen out and were placed on top of the stack. The pieces were in fair condition, we are just lucky that it is going to be a kitchen floor so we can put those pieces in an out of the way spot-hopefully.

Dec 27,2019My floor is beautiful and I’m happy I found go hardwood. We had an initial glitch with the carrier damaging some of the boxes including wood damage. Go Hardwood made this right immediately. On a side note, our floor is maple, immensely beautiful, but scratches rather easily. Next time I’ll go another direction. For now, I’m quite satisfied.

Dec 27,2019The finished floor looks very, very good, but it was a hassle. I talked to a rep and was assured that 20% overage was enough for builder's grade - it was not. There were many crushed corners, missing tongues, missing knots, cracks in the veneer, and the tongues and grooves were machined upside down on a large number of boards so the ends would not connect to a board correctly done. I had at least enough incorrect boards for one, maybe two long (27') rows and thought I could use them in a whole row, but the tongues/grooves are not centered in the thickness of the board and such a row would have made a "trench" so I had to throw these all out. I calculated that I needed 33% to 34% overage to have been OK. I started to order more and then noticed that at some number of square feet the shipping for first quality boards was free. Shipping for builder's quality was very expensive and that plus the extra cost for the extra overage needed made the builder's quality a very poor buy. There is also a minimum square footage for an order and I did not meet it. I did not test whether the company would have allowed me to order more because of my circumstances - but rather, in order to save hundreds of dollars, bought a doweling jig, cut the usable parts out of the bad boards, and doweled the ends of the boards to hold them in place while the glue dried. I barely made it - I had one 2 foot board left over. If you are considering builder's quality. I recommend you add up the cost of the shipping plus the square footage including the extra overage to compare with the total you would spend for first quality. You should also make sure, by talking to a rep, that you will be able to order a small quantity more if you run short.
