Feb 22,2025Always happy with our delivery. A small box last the two of us 2 weeks+ and stays fresh in the fridge all that time too. Can swap up to 4 items out. Great extra produce sold in shop like eggs, amazing bread and cakes, pesto, spelt pasta, granola, lots of GF stuff... I could go on! We've also eaten at the field kitchen a few times and have absolutely loved the fresh, flavoursome produce. Exciting menu and just love that you don't know what you'll have I til you arrive. Wine is to die for too!

Feb 19,2025Unless you live in a place where you can only get tasteless tiny fruit and veg from a supermarket or a corner shop then this is not worth the expense. £8.75 for what was basically a small punnet of grapes, 4 large apples and 6 tangerines. I pay way less than this from the green grocers in my village that gets seasonal supplies mostly from local farms and allotments. Heck I struggle to even spend £10 a week there.

Jun 14,2024Have been getting these for a few months now - love having fresh seasonal veg delivered, and really easy to amend your order frequency etc on the website. It's good to know it doesn't have to travel far! Have swapped to a Groobox from Oddbox as we felt it was getting too expensive, but find this good value for money considering it is locally grown and organic.

Oct 28,2023Very uninspiring and disappointing meal. Was looking forward to this meal. Starter was ok, but it went downhill from there. Main course was a courgette with a carrot and Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Gravy not in a pot, but poured over the plate. Very bland and not at all what we expected. The meat eaters in our party found the meat to be very fatty and not a quality cut of meat. Overall for the price, we felt ripped off.

Sep 23,2023Started using Groobarbs during the pandemic. They offer a fantastic veg box with lots of choice all grown locally. They also offer bread, eggs and speciality items which are all very high quality. Highly recommend Have also been to their field kitchen a couple of times and the food was excellent.

May 07,2023Amazing produce, the apples look like they’re straight out of snore white, they’re so red! The carrots are huge. I get so excited for the arrival each time. Plus it’s low carbon footprint and supporting local produce farmers.

Jun 02,2022We love our Grooboxes! We've had them for several months now and it's always exciting choosing what to add each weekend. The ordering and delivery process is seemless. We bought an air fryer to help us get more creative with our cooking, as we were previously using prepared veg for convenience in our busy lives. But the veg box-air fryer combo is working great! The vegetables and fruit are excellent quality and often enormous. The strawberries look like they've been polished, they're so perfect! We're looking forward to the kitchen opening up this summer too. It would be handy to be able to stop by the farm at the weekend to pickup extra items, perhaps this could be a possibility when the kitchen opens :) and also to have a few more single items options on the website, to add to a box if at all possible. We love all the videos and messages, we really feel a part of the farm. Excellent all round

Jan 06,2022We have been Groobarbs customers for 18 months. As a family of 5 we go through a lot of veg and fruit, it is a pleasure to receive our weekly delivery. The quality is consistently excellent, we especially look forward to the summer lettuces and fruits. It’s easy to skip a delivery and to add and remove things you don’t fancy or even add a delicious sour dough loaf. Best of all i drive past my carrots on the way to work every day and there’s no plastic waste 🥳 Thank you

Oct 24,2021We have been getting our boxes for few months now and have never been dissapointed. The quality is great and stuff lasts for a while. Was impressed from the first box. Skipping and adjusting boxes is very easy and the option to add likes and dislikes is great too. Just recently we skipped a box as we weren't in much for the week so needed only couple of bits that I picked up from supermarket and we have definitely tasted the massive difference in quality between supermarket and groobarbs and couldn't wait to go back to our veg box. Lastly the customer service is amazing, definitely worth giving them a go!

Oct 04,2021Lovely fresh vegetables with no pesticides. We have been getting the boxes since the company first started. I'm still amazed at how long the vegetables keep in the fridge - much longer than supermarket veg - so there's rarely any waste. Groobarbs now have a good website which makes ordering, paying and altering your order much easier.

Sep 30,2021We have received our fortnightly veg box now for nine months. You can contact them with any queries and they are more than happy to help. We like the way you can change up to four items if your not too keen on a particular vegetable. From the first delivery the veg has been first class. It’s like the veg I used to eat as a boy, so so tasty. Unlike the almost synthetic stuff sold in supermarkets and keeps much better too. I never write reviews but I just had to thank them for the wonderful produce they grow and let everyone know how fantastic it is. Received our latest box this morning and as I write this, the casserole is on and the kitchen smells mouth watering lovely. Thank you groobarbs so much x

Feb 25,2021I really looking forward to the fortnightly delivery of my Groobox. For an older person living alone it has been “manner from Heaven”! I’m never disappointed by what is in the box and it’s like getting a gift every two weeks. I actually love the dirt on the veggies. I feel that I am getting real veggies and not the plasticised ones I felt I was getting in the big supermarkets. The produce from Groobarbs is a gazillion times better. I also love the page in the box that tells me what has been done and how Groobarbs has fared relating to the items in my box. The fact that they ask our opinion, on things they are thinking about changing or not, is wonderful. Makes me feel as though I’m part of the family. I would recommend them 100%. Feb 07,2021Fresh and local produce vegs with possibility to pause the delivery so that it's impossible to waste anything. It comes with a lovely sheet that explains the life in the farm. I have ordered the boxes since April 2020 and have converted many friends!

Feb 23,2025We had a glorious meal at Groobarbs Friday evening that we wanted to give feedback. The food was exquisite! We can’t fault it and the restaurant vibe was perfect with low level lighting which was just right. My boyfriend particularly enjoyed the dessert and wine. The venue is pretty. Seeing the chefs cooking and prepping as you waited and they didn’t seem flustered at all. The presentation was as glorious as the taste! We also thought the live music was so great! We loved the varied music and it was sang beautifully. The staff who served us were so helpful and friendly. We will be back again. Thanks so much for a wonderful evening.
