Have made get to the next step of life a lot easier. It been less stressful then having to pay each individual account. Thanks for making it easy!
So far so good not yet where I want to be but improving soon I will updated it!!!
There was a whole lot of confusion with the first payment, It didn't come out as expected, and this time it was totally unexpected, If I hadn't received my social security today, that payment would have bounced, An email reminder as to when the next payment comes out in the future would be very much appreciated
They have been super helpful and a great resource towards becoming debt free! I would highly recommend!
I think it's an opportunity to believe and work at the same time with honesty
The company is keeping me very well informed of everything!

With that being said I feel GLG is awesome and I hope we both continue to keep working on my pay down of my creditors. They (GLG) are always friendly and make sure you fully understand everything they do for you. Enough said they are awesome!

Clearing up past debts
All the steps of the process were explained to me. Every time a new development comes up, I am notified and explained in detail the reasons behind it.
GREAT communication at all times! Kept me in the loop during the whole process!
Simple and easy to accept the offer they recommended. Thanks Guardian!
Kept communication going, making the process easy. One step closer to relief of debt.
Everything was well explained during the entire process and required very little input from me to get to a good resolution
same as everybody else. this company does not work for you to get the best deal. they get paid 27% for settling for you. now if they settle at a higher number than that's more money in their pocket. how is this looking out after the consumer. they have a shady business practice also they just read you scripts which will hopefully disway you. they don't actually help you. i would sue this company!! they say they will have someone call you but they don't. they have people interacting with their clients who don't have a clue!!! So i have been asked for an update on my review. my account information is private and i don't want to put that out in the open, but suffice to say if you had any interest in clearing this up you would reach out to me. Instead of trying to make this go away, but asking me to give more details. my finances are not open for everyone to see. so here is one example. so one credit card was settled and it saved me about $300. from $1,600 to $1,300 than i was charged 27% for there fee which i get but the fee was like $460 which brought it over the amount that i owed. so it actually cost me $1,760 to pay the $1,300. the higher the amount that they settled for. so than they say well you agreed to it yes that's because I'm on the road and i am told that the sooner i settle the better because they can't guarantee that it won't go up because of further charges so yes i did agree and i have no details before me, but the negotiators are suppose to be aware of my account and help me not help your business make a profit off of me. this a prime example that i have paid more to settle a debt than i owed. than they say oh well if you take all your accounts and add them together it will be more like 50-55% yes because you already ripped me off on the first account and now its going to take it longer to settle my other accounts where there is no guarantee. so if you want to reach out to me and try to work something out but i doubt it since i have talked to multiple supervisors and I'm tired of them reading off a script c'mon you guys do better I'm not an idiot. i have thought of getting in touch with a lawyer but oh that's right you guys are lawyers. you guys keep things nebulous for a reason and now i know why. but i was given a sequence of payments and what it would add up to and there is no way you guys can keep that payment schedule, so now what? So you replied with out to much information. Can you tell my why no one has reached out to me regarding this situation? The first account you settled for me with your fee was over 100% of what I owed on it. Can you tell me why or even better yet call me and let me know why the first account was settle with your fee for that specific account was over 100%?? Still you want to deal with it as if you did everything in your power to get these accounts settled but you are not even the negotiator that settled that account. Again all I get from you guys is legalese and how over a period of time it will get down to a percentage that you can’t really say exactly what it will be. You deal in hypothesis and should but no actual facts because how you get out of that is to say every account is different and every lender is different. You still to this day have not said why specifically that the negotiator settled for something that was ridiculous. Seriously over 100%.
My experience with Guardian started off as a happy one. I was referred to the through another company, Acceptance Financial. Once in the program they collectively gather your payment to to create a sort of kiddy to pull money from while they make payments on your accounts. They negotiate your payment to save you money but get this: they wait until your debts go into collections before they negotiate a settlement. So concurrently your credit rating drops. This is explained but not in detail to why they do what they do. As I re searched, other debt settlement companies operate not ina way where you're not suffering a credit loss. It's a quick fix. Fixing dent is not a quick fix and we gotta realize that. In my experience, I had a manager that didn't even look at 2 of my accounts until I called to complain. In doing so I discovered that after 5 months, they didn't even have my account numbers. I explained this to several team members because when you call, you never not ever, speak to the person handling your account. Does that make any sense? In other words every phone call you make you have to bring someone up to speed as to why you're frustrated. Finally I got so upset the agent working on my account gives me a call. He begins by re explains what every manager has already explained. I simply wanted to know had he started working on my account. He responded by saying sorry it went into collections but that's perfectly normal. He further condescends me by saying "I would not be in this issue if I was paying my bills " ..this is the kind of front row first class service that mades me a truly unhappy client. They've since given me someone else... Too little too late. I have nothing but contemot for those practice. They collect my monthly payment and act as if I am a fool for complaining. If I had done my research better I would have used National Debt relief. Debt is not a fun, but we are making ourselves poor Stuarts of our finances with quick fixes. Guardian is a quick fix that will cost you 27% monthly going to them 6/1 Thank you for the response. Let's review for the readers. 1. This group did inform me of a negative credit.. the spokesperson in a recorded line said, there "may be some negative reporting" 2. All went well till month 4 when I gotta call from a creditir, when I reached out to them on a recorded line, the spikes person said " they have not started working on my account because apparently they, after 4 months did not have the account numbers. 3 After I complained on Google, I immediately got a call and the spokesperson said " we will make you account priority" which didn't happen. 4. After several attempts to speak to my account specialist, I finally reached him and he told me "I got myself into this situation " professional? 5. I am grateful as they did find an account I had no clue was outstanding. Thanks! 6 They did not settle 60 percent of my debt. Settled mean past tense, they did negotiate a lower payment which they left me to pay. Along with my credit score down 100 points. Thank you for the response.
It's interesting this company has a 3.8 rating, but has two reviews and is rated as "great", which should tell you something off the bat. I was struggling with debt this summer and researching options. I had originally applied for a consolidation loan through this company, but was told I didn't qualify, but did qualify for their debt resolution program. I spoke with Eli, I asked him several questions, discussed my concerns about impacts to my credit score, needing to purchase a car in a year, etc. Eli told me my credit would suffer (which I knew) in the beginning, but within 8 months, it would heal and bounce back because my accounts would reflect as being settled. Once I enrolled in the program, communication decreased, no one would respond to emails and when I received my monthly "check-in" call, it was with someone different each time with a new "welcome" call & information that differed from the previous month. Five months later, my credit has decreased nearly 100 points, they have settled one small account, I've had no progress on any of the other accounts and I don't get even monthly check in calls anymore. When I have called them to ask questions and get a status on my accounts, they always say "we'll speak to your litigator and call you back". Never get a call back. The last time I left a bad review was the only time I've received an immediate response by a supervisor, who basically denied anyone had lied to me, and my credit would take 48 months to improve. No apology for misinformation, no other follow up - even though I requested they provide all the information we discussed in writing to my email on file. I truly feel like this was the worst choice I could have made when trying to resolve my debt. The part that kills me is I was doing ok - my credit was good. I just felt a bit cash-strapped and wanted to look for a way to reduce my monthly payment and stay on track before it snowballed. I have researched several other companies and will be cancelling my program with Guardian and working with a different company who provides consistent communication, an app and I get to work directly with the litigator for updates. Stay away from Guardian. I feel like I'll be lucky to get even part of my money back from these guys.
