Jan 24,2021I felt the cup on the heel the first few weeks wearing these. They were not amazingly comfortable at first but after having these for a while now, I love them! Inside/outside, walk to the mailbox everyday in them. Very durable, have not gotten stinky yet. Going to order another pair for myself and my wife!!

Jan 21,2021I trusted the reviews that my Gumbies slippers would be "cozy and so comfortable" after an overwhelming number of reviews indicating as such. I'm not sure what kind of shoes those folks are used to wearing, but these shoes felt like something I could get for a quarter of the price at Walmart or Target (and I don't usually shop at either of those stores). The outsole is hard and not grippy at all and the mid- and insole are barely padded in any way. I felt like I was walking on a hard piece of plastic with a piece of felt over it, which is exactly what these slippers are. I bought these slippers because my Orthopedist recommended that I get some comfortable, padded slippers to wear around the house while working from home. Our house has a lot of hardwood and I managed to bruise a bone with repeated walking and standing on it barefoot. I don't think these slippers provide any additional padding or protection vs walking barefoot on the hardwood itself, which is really disappointing considering the price and positive reviews on the website. I'm also disappointed that despite the well-known and widely publicized issues with the US Postal Service, Gumbies still is shipping their packages through them. My slippers spent nearly 2 weeks in a truck in Baltimore waiting to be sorted, while I had package after package from UPS and FedEx delivered in the intervening time. So now I get the distinct displeasure of shipping these slippers back at my own expense and waiting for a refund.

Jan 18,2021I was a little disappointed in the Gumbies when I first tried them on. They were a bit too wide for my size 10 foot, very uncomfortable and the back of the slipper is very low, I prefer a higher back behind my heel.After two weeks, they are much more comfortable now that they are breaking in and forming to my foot. At this early stage, I would buy them again. Hopefully they are durable and last a long time.

Jan 18,2021I ordered the wrong size for my BF and when I made the return they did not have the exact colors I ordered. No worries! We were able to not only have a great chat about the company, but we also received our replacement slippers quickly and correctly. Will definitely order from them again. I love my slippers and now my BF can stop stealing mine.

Their customer service is superb. I made a potentially rather complicated mistake on my order and they corrected it for me immediately, with a smile! I can't recommend them enough. Simply awesome.

Jan 10,2021I like my flip flops, they are very pretty. When I was shopping on the website, the images were not accurate. The sole is very thin. I paid $30.00 for each pair, I bought 2 pairs. I was hoping for a thicker sole. I will wear them in my house as slippers. I live in Las Vegas NV and our ground outside is very hot. I would be afraid to wear them outside.

Jan 06,2021I love my Gumbies!!! I can't stand shoes so I wear flip flops -almost all year round. My issue with other flops is I go through a lot of them because I wear them out! I camp, kayak, hike, etc and they break down. Feet slip in them when wet, and they break:( I stumbled across these Gumbies while on vacation after breaking another pair of ordinary flops. At first they felt a bit odd but I loved the bottom traction! After a week of camping and activities these held up even in the water! I love how they grip anything I walked on! I refuse to by anything but Gumbies from now on! I have had mine for over 3 years. It seems they have molded to the shape of my feet and I absolutely love, love, love them! Best flop out there!

Jan 29,2021I absolutely love these shoes! They're comfortable, warm and come from recycled synthetic materials, no animal products involved. I wore them outside for 15 minute yard time with our dogs in calm 18 degree F weather, after forgetting to put on my boots. Not a problem, my feet were comfortable. What's not to love? Only challenge was ordering correct size, as they run bigger than stated US sizes. I normally wear US 6 1/2 women's so I ordered one size smaller and the fit is spot on. I always wear them with socks for added comfort. My husband is waiting for stock to be replenished so he can order a pair, too.
