Feb 14,2024Never received notice that the order had been shipped, so I e-mailed to ask the status of the order. Received no reply. I did get the order a couple days later. 1 item in the order, a 6” metric/English ruler turned out to be useless and I threw it away. There was a space at the beginning of the ruler longer than 1mm, so I had to grind the end until it measured correctly. Once I’d done this the English scale on the other side was thrown out of wack. Crap ruler. Also got a couple drill bits and they are fine. Not likely to order from this place again. UPDATE 2-21-24 I got an e-mail from Zooey at Harfington that she had refunded the cost of the defective rulers. I must admit that the attention to service is better than at some of the other “well known” online retailers that I’ve ordered from. Thank you Zooey!

Feb 06,2024Juan Wang was a huge help to me. First I created an order including a completely wrong part, having forgotten I'd replaced it with a new design. He was able to quickly cancel it over a weekend and I tried again. This time when reordering a part I did need from the original order, I forgot to click the specific variation I needed and ordered the wrong size. Somehow I got lucky and there was a glitch in processing the order such that it didn't go out right away and I was able to spot my error. Not only did Juan fix the order for me, he even expedited the shipping because of the delay. Oh, and this was my first order with them just for a couple hundred dollars. Not like he had a huge incentive to try so hard, but I'm grateful he did.

Jan 04,2024It was easy to find the parts I wanted on their website with a decent amount of info included as to their specs, etc. It would be better if there was just a little more there- esp. a technical drawing. But not too bad, all considering. The mending plates I received felt slightly flimsier than I was expecting, which ultimately led me to choose another method of construction. BUT-- not Harfington's fault! When I requested a return they promptly responded with a personal email and refunded my money right away. So I will certainly look to this company when I need parts in the future!

Dec 01,2023It said I would definitely get free shipping, since my order was over a certain amount. But LATER, at final checkout and payment page, it charged me $3.99 for shipping ANYWAY!!!! UPDATE: They fixed my issue quickly and were VERY, VERY nice to me! It's not often you get this level of personal attention that I got. And yes, they of course refunded to me my shipping costs. I am impressed by this company and their professionalism, and I you can believe I will be shopping with them, again and again. Thank you Harfington! FIVE STARS!

Feb 17,2024It took way too long for me to receive the item. When I was ordering I was not made aware that the item was being shipped from China. If I had known that I would have ordered from someone else. Which I ended up doing as I needed the part right away.
