Established in 2015, we are a clinical homecare company, specialising in delivering homecare services to patients.
We work closely with the NHS and pharmaceutical companies to dispense and deliver prescription medicine whilst providing nurse support to those patients that need it.
There are currently over 190,000 patients using our services, and our dedicated team offer support to them across a number of different therapy areas – Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Oncology, Rare Diseases and many more.
Our aim is to make our patient’s lives easier, by taking the stress out of managing their medication.
We recognise that each one of our patients is unique, and our services are tailored specifically to their requirements.
For some patients we will simply dispense and deliver their medicine, for some we may provide training on how to administer their medicine, whereas others may require ongoing nurse support to have their medicine administered for them.
We will work closely with our patient’s hospital team to ensure their medicine and/or care is provided to them safely and according to their prescription.
An overview of the services we offer for our patients is available here. If you have any questions about HealthNet Homecare, and how our services work, please click here.
Jacqueline from Montrose was just perfect. She was a calming influence, cheery, confident and very understanding. Her professional approach took me through everything clearly so by the time I had to actually injection myself, I was chilled and happy to do it. She stayed with me for a further 15 mins to make sure I had no reaction. I am now very confident to carry out my fortnightly injections from here on.
Delivery arrived on time. No issues. Driver courteous and friendly. Well done everyone involved.
So impressed with this service, the nurse gave me the confidence to administer the meds myself and was so easy to talk to.
Very thorough
The visit although virtual I have to say the nurse fabulous. She reassured me that this was going to be a straightforward process, she was very ‘patient’, polite and professional in her approach to the task. The session took about 50 minutes but I never felt rushed as if she was definitely putting me the patient 1st.
Very patient, clear and precise.
Explained everything perfectly & guided me through injecting correctly.
Excellent service and friendly customer service
Delivered in the time frame, no issues.
Kept well informed prior to delivery. On time and polite.
So easy to order my medication and always delivered on time good company to deal with..
First class service.
The person who visited was very pleasant, and explained everything concisely and clearly.
Was my first time using healthnet was nervous for using my injection not because of the needle but the nurse spoke with me and was very lovely and talked me through every step and showed me a few times before I did it she spoke to me like we was known each other for months she was checked everything over to do with my prescription expiry date lot number to make sure I fully understood everything before I did the injection and went the app
Simple progress updates on the booking details etc. Confirmation of time slot arrived the evening before. Driver was prompt, and polite.
The nurse was lovely, and called me to let me know she had had a cancellation so could come and see me earlier in the day. This was very good and efficient of her. However she then asked when my last dose of methotrexate was. I said Monday. As the appointment was Friday of the same week she was not able to give a demonstration of the medication because there had not been a large enough gap since my last dose. The nurse told me she had had to cancel another appointment for the same reason. This was very inconvenient, frustrating and annoying. I had to reserve the whole day for the appointment as I am not informed until the day before which 2 hour time slot I would be given. This in itself is annoying and inefficient. I had to not book things for that day as I had to leave the whole day free. In the end the appointment was cancelled because I was not asked the appropriate questions at the appropriate point. At no point did anyone ask me what day I usually took the medication. This should be a basic question which is asked to anyone receiving their first visit from the nurse to be shown how to use the injections. Or a note should be included in the text message which is send to new users of the service, informing them that they need to phone the appointments line to let them know what day they usually take their medication. I should not be expected to guess this. I was able to book another appointment for 17th as I had one dose of tablets left. If I had not had one dose of medication left I would have run out before I was able to book an appointment. This would have caused me a great amount of anxiety and I would have started to become ill again. This is very inconvenient as there is now another whole day I have to set aside for this appointment. I want to emphasize that this is on no way the fault of the nurse, but this level of service is unacceptable.
Arrived on time.
I always get plenty of notice and it always arrives on time.
Friendly and polite delivery driver. Arrived within the time slot. Quick exchange at the door and gave relevant instructions to store medication in the fridge.
