Apr 28,2023When I first started I thought this was going to be it. This is a great paying job, I enjoy what I’m doing, and it’s local. Nope, that all cut short in less than 5 months. Heytutor does not support you in any way. You have to create your own schedule through the day at whatever site you’re placed at, you aren’t given feedback on how well your performance is, and there are no benefits. I was wrongly terminated from the worst accusations all because there are NO heytutor higher staff there to recognize your daily tasks and performance! I was wrongly accused of not participating in any of my daily task, pretty much saying I wasn’t doing my job! Wth?! It’s so unfair. I poured my heart and soul into that job. I worked my butt of everyday. I made changes and the school staff saw that, not heytutor. If you do one thing wrong, you’re fired. I participated everyday, the effort doesn’t matter to them. You’re just another player. Do yourself a favor and don’t work for this low some company that doesn’t even care for their employees. All of it are lies.

Apr 18,2023AVOID HEY TUTOR: This company never told me it was a subscription billing service after I hired a tutor for one month at $440. I was never sent an email that my credit card was being charged like the other subscription services I use. Result? $7,430 stolen via my credit card. Hey Tutor refused to return my money. (My wife and I are super-busy and we travel a lot, so we didn't review our credit card statements as we should have.)

Mar 07,2023Auto Renewal Scam company, it is a fraud. Don't give them your credit card in any case. They took my credit card information and charged me every month for $240 even though I signed up for only 1 month. They never send any invoice or any email for following months but charge the card every month. When I called them for these charges, the guy is very rude and arrogant, he never listened to what I have to say. I never used any services for following months yet I was charged for $240 for 8 months. Beware, he will never email you a link for payment but ask for credit card information. It is a scam... don't fall for it.
