Feb 03,2012Easy to order item; item arrived the day after and was left with neighbour as I was out which meant I didn't have to wait. Item was well packaged and in excellent condition and easy to put together.

Feb 01,2012I bought the Corona Waxed Drinks Cabinet from hip furniture, they were much cheaper than any other stockist, the product arrived very quickly. However, when putting it together I found it was made from very soft wood, one of the screws went right through the piece of wood, and while putting together the drawer, the back snapped at the join! Once complete the bar looks good, hopefully it will stand the test of time.

Jan 31,2012I contacted hip furniture in regards to a set of tables much cheaper than I had found anywhere else locally or online living on the isle of wight I was expecting a rather large quote for delivery but was contacted by customer services at hip who informed me that they would deliver the item for free! The tables duly arrived very swiftly and we are more than pleased with the quality of the the item for the price we paid Many thanks to all at hip and keep up the good work

Jan 31,2012Ordered 1 bed, 2 arrived and 2 were charged for, it then took over 2 weeks for them to collect the item and a week later i am still waiting for a refund on the second item i didn't order. Apparently until the warehouse has said they have recieved the item they are unable to issue me with a refund. A refund for a bed i didn't order!!!!!! AVOID BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!

Jan 27,2012The only reason I have deducted one star is because the delivery was stated as 1-2 days but actually took over a week. Apart from that I was very happy with the product and the price.

Jan 27,2012the first time I purchased a beautiful lamp from them, the product was good and the delivery time was acceptable too. but this time, the two storage boxes I purchased are terrible quality and the delivery time was longer than they suggested too. what really disappointed me is the fact that the delivery guy just left one of them outside my door, no note put through the door, nothing! it could have been stolen easily. it was very lazy and careless of them. such a shame, won't use them again ....

Jan 26,2012Please stay away from this company, i have been dealing with them for over a month, they say its takes 1 to 2 days delivery NOT TRUE i bought a tv unit from them took nearly 2 weeks to arrive plus 1 part missing so it took another week for the part to arrive but it was part of a sideboard, THEY DONT CARE, i cancelled my order they told me i would have to e-mail them to cancel to get my money back, i did that then they picked up their packages and guess what still no money back every time i phone all i ever get from them is i understand your fustration i am not fustrated i am ANGRY, i think they went for training to say i understand, the way they treat their customers is SHOCKING , SHOCKING, SHOCKING. so once again stay AWAY from this company.

Jan 24,2012Ordered on a Thursday night/Friday morning, got an email saying the drawers would be delivered on Monday, and they were. Very easy to put together (provided you have common sense) and it was up within hours. Only minor issues I could fault are- *a knot in the wood where one of the screws goes on a drawer, but luckily this is not visible *very very slight damage to the edge of the back panel-again not important *one or two drawers are a bit stiff on the runners, I suspect a bit of wax will fix it *bottoms of drawers are sheet plywood, could be stronger One thing that did surprise me was that the sides and base of the chest of drawers, though technically solid pine, are made up of straight, rectangular offcuts of pine. It doesn't really affect the aesthetic appeal of this product but was not what I was expecting. The top and the drawer fronts are tidier pine though. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable, decent sized pine chest of drawers. I have listed minors to be honest with other potential buyers, but I am very happy with the product.

Jan 21,2012Good service and delivery, could not fault anywhere along the chain, product is NOW ok, lots of finessing required to get drawers to fit, missing screw holes where screw holes should be, instruction sheet needs a large magnify glass to see all componets clearly, which is vital as there are no written clues as to what to do, all in all quite a task putting the thing together, never had this problem before with flat pack furniture, a word with the makers would be a good idea, Would shop with them again upon reflection, but would book at least 2 days off work instead of one.

Jan 19,2012The bunkbeds turned up without any notification and caused considerable problems. Once I opened the boxes several items were damaged and badly marked and all the nuts and bolts were missing.

Jan 18,2012Ordered 2 bedside tables on 19 Dec 11 and was guaranteed they would arrive before Christmas. When I did not receive an email confirming this I rang on 21 Dec to cancel 11. They stated the goods had already been dispatched and there was nothing I could do. An email arrived on 27 Dec 11 stating the goods had been dispatched. On querying this I was told it was automatically generated. It is now the 18 Jan 12 and I still have not received the goods. Like other customers on this site I am getting no-where with them and now have to try and recoupe my £110 through my credit card company. They even had the cheek to send me an email yesterday asking if I was enjoying my new purchase!!

Jan 09,2012Ordered an item which failed to materialise after 2 wasted weekends of waiting at home for the delivery. Taken nearly a month to get my money back and still waiting. They just send you emails saying that they are dealing with your enquiry but nothing ever surfaces. DO NOT make the same mistake.

Dec 13,2011Will not use the company ever again. Poor delivery service, item broken on arrival and wasn't open until later then 7 days which is their policy apparently. I had to order a new item, as well again, Im not happy with their service. We are a well established interior design firm and will surely never recommend them to anyone. First and last time order. /

Dec 06,2011Really pleased with the dressing table, mirror and stool set. The first mirror arrived broken, the courier said it wasn't even worth bringing in, but a replacement quickly arrived. The stool top was damaged and there were some bolts missing from the mirror, but Hip quickly resolved both problems. Would recommend buying from Hip.

Feb 03,2012Order goods on 6th Jan 12 after calling and advised that goods in stock and would take 3 working days to be delivered. Two weeks later goods still not delivered had to call and chase was then told that they were out of stock I then requested a refund of £274.00 which was told would take 10 working days only received £138.00 still waiting for £135.00 why are they refusing to give me my money back will be reporting them to trading standings. This compnay should NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE please do not buy from them
