Jan 16,2025This next paragraph is an edit to the original review. The experience runs from 13th January until the 18th February. Read the whole review for the nightmare or dealing with House of Worktops. Worst experience ever with an incompetent company. After 5 weeks, 2 different occasions of emailled promises of delivery next day, 3 of when stock would be in, I finally get this email."Apologies for the delay and any confusion caused. I have checked thoroughly, but unfortunately, we no longer have that specific worktop available either in stock or from our supplier" Summary of messages from House of Worktops. 1. Delivery of your worktops will be tomorrow. 2. Your worktops have been loaded and are in transit. 3. Your worktops are 36 minutes away. 4. Your worktops have been delivered. None of the above was true. Then when I contacted them 5. Sorry we got it wrong. 6. Your worktops will be in stock in a further three weeks. Again not true. Three weeks later when I contacted them 7. Sorry we got it wrong 8. Your worktops will be in stock in another two weeks. Two weeks later again I had to contact them 8. Your worktops will be delivered tomorrow. Again not true. When I contacted them again 9. We longer have that specific worktop available either in stock or from our supplier" My worktops have never been delivered and apparently were never going to be delivered as they, don't stock or get supplied with that type of worktop. They were more interested in complaining about my review, see their reply below than supplying the worktops I ordered. In reply to their comment, IF YOU BUY A WORKTOP YOU DO EXPECT TO SEE IT AT SOME POINT. They also phoned to complain about my review. BE WARNED

Jan 16,2025Can’t believe how quick these were delivered, literally the day after I ordered them, what a service and lovely worktops as well, 2 guys carried them all the way into my house, I had tracking sent to me half hour before where I could see where the delivery was, so overall, just brilliant and I would definitely recommend them.

Jan 15,2025From placing the order through to delivery, communication was excellent. The delivery guys, Ivo and Ivan were on time, courteous and efficient, and it was helpful to be able to track their progress to avoid having to stay in all day. The various installation and oiling guides are also clear and helpful. We ordered a Prime Oak 930 x 1500 x 40 worktop for a semi island unit and the quality was excellent and the appearance and construction as described on the website. The worktop was entirely flat in its length and had about a 2mm bow in the middle across its width, which was again consistent through the full length, and shouldn't be a problem. The only other thing was that the delivered worktop was actually 960 mm wide although labelled as 930mm, which again isn't a problem for us, given that it's for an island unit. Hopefully my cutting, finishing, oiling and installation will go as well

Jan 15,2025Just had my worktops delivered by Dido and Plamen. They called in advance to let me know they were on their way due to understanding I had to get to the delivery location and they delivered exactly on time. The whole service from ordering to delivery has been great.
