Jan 22,2025Great worktop. And cut perfectly to our requirements. Delivery was great and the two folks who dropped it off (Hasan and Stoyan) we very helpful. Only gripe was that we received an email telling us it would be delivered on the Monday 13th but when we rang up to see if we could do a Friday and they couldn't. We were okay with that, but then the person told us that our delivery date was the 20th, but we'd had no email or anything telling us it had changed. They insisted that that had always been the date and didn't seem to even acknowledge the fact that there had been a mistake on their end. We would have liked to have had the worktops finished the weekend just gone, but instead we have to wait another week from what we were told.

Jan 21,2025After looking at many different places both locally and online for a worktop that suited my utility room, I found some really good options on the house of worktops site, specifically their full stave distressed oak laminate worktop. There was a bit of a delay due to a stock issue, and some confusion over delivery dates because of this stock issue. However, a quick email to their customer service team and some great communication that followed really helped. Worktop arrived a week later than planned but it did arrive eventually. Delivery tracking was available, though don't take too much notice of the time slot they give. Delivery was 3 hours before the original time slot I was given. Fortunately we were in at the time. Delivery was fantastic. Martin and Emo really helpful, brought the 3m worktop right inside, and delivered it to our prepared work benches. I'll definitely be returning when I do my kitchen refit, with real wood, and would definitely recommend them to others.

The delivery was within a good timeframe with friendly delivery team. The product was a very good standard in relation to quality, finish and accuracy of cutting.

Jan 20,2025The wood is such good quality and the purchase, through to delivery, was efficient and swift. I placed my order on the 15th and it was delivered on the 17th. Hasan and Stoyan were amazing and very quick! I was able to track the delivery and they kept me updated all the way on a little map. I’ve then asked if they could provide some advice on how to stain the wood, and they sent me a whole step by step on how to achieve this and tips. I also customised the length and width of the wood, for free, and it was the exact measurements! So worth the money and would definitely buy from house of worktops again! They’ve gone above and beyond! Thank-you😊

Jan 20,2025These worktops are very good quality. We bought 4.2m worktop. I had to cut and shaped them, You'll need a diamond tip blade for your saw to cut them, I used a 160mm x 20 bore trend pollycrystalline blade to cut 2 x 12.5mm router blades, for the curved corners these are solid. I am a Joiner, I know how to cut, shape worktops. If you are not confident then speak with House of worktops they offer a cutting service, the tools etc you'll need that might be a better option for you.

On the morning of delivery I received a text message with a live tracker of my delivery drivers, Martin and Emo who were very helpful. Amazingly quick process from start to finish. I’d highly recommend 😊
