The only thing that makes this a 4 star rather than 5 is the fact that the number they call from after using compare the market, is a mobile number which made me unsure on whether I could trust the call at the beginning. A UK landline might be better.

Jade talked me through the process clearly, was polite, took time to explain technical terms and was patient with my many questions. I didn't feel rushed or pressured and nothing was too much bother. Reassuring to know that some companies still put the customer first.

As it was quite bewildering to make a choice without further information, I was pleasantly surprised to get a phone call from Howden Life & Health to help me decide. I had a long, pleasant and informative chat with their agent Sophie Pearson who, after asking me relevant questions and clearly explaining the various options, guided me without any pressure to making my choice of providers. I can therefore thoroughly recommend this broker if you are interested in buying private health insurance.
