Visit South America with us!
We went to Argentina in Feb. 2020. We dealt with Magui from Ripio Turismo via Email in handling our visit in Buenos Aires and Iguassu Falls. She was excellent to deal with answering my Emails promptly and suggesting the hotels and excursions. She handled our itinerary with lots of transfers, flights, excursions and dinner tango show. I would like to thank Magui for an excellent organization, and to all the drivers and guides.
The advice and planning offered beforehand were so helpful, and all the arrangements made through the company were excellent. We had a wonderful afternoon at the Falls, and our guide - her name began with a letter C but I cannot remember her full name - was really good, helpful, knowledgeable and good fun. All the transfers worked perfectly. I certainly recommend this company
As part of my visit to Iguazu Falls, I took the Eco-Truck Tour and the boat ride on the river to the falls. However, due to a medical condition I get edema (swelling) in my legs. After going down the steps to the first landing, it was there that I was told I could not go on the boat. I understand rules are for safety reasons, but I think that decision should have been made by your personnel before I went half way down (and back up). I waited while my friends went on to the boat ride and went back together. Loved the Falls - a Great Experience!!
Our trip to the Falls was a last-minute add-on to our scheduled cruise out of Buenos Aires; it ended up being a wonderful excursion that made our three-week cruise almost anti-climactic! All the arrangements were excellent with a perfect young lady for a guide who was so aware of our age and somewhat limited mobility in places. We would recommend our contacts to anyone . . . and have bragged about them ever since whenever we get a chance.
Before our cruise, we, a group of 7, came a week earlier to Buenos Aires. We had Carlos to arrange everything including transfers, flights (to Iguazu) and all accommodations, and a one-week itinerary to visit Iguazu Falls and Buenos city. Everything was well arranged. We are very happy of their service. We had 4 days in Iguazu. The Falls were amazing. We came from Canada and I had been Niagara Falls for 3 times. However, Iguazu is still a must-see if you visiting Argentina. Do not miss it. Local private guide accompanied with us all time and she was well knowledge and responsible. The Loi Suites Hotel was great. We visited both sides, Argentina and Brazil, and recommend it if you have time. Different ways of seeing the falls. In Buenos Aires, we saw the tango show, Tigre boat tour, city tour to Buenos Aires and guided visit to Colon Theatre. They were all private tour, in our own private tour bus. Our private guides (Fernanda, Ailen, etc) were awesome. We stayed in Loi Suites Recoleta. The hotel was located just right besides the Recoleta cemetery, which is a well-known tourist attraction. The area had a modern mall with McD and starbucks, and a lot of local restaurants and stores within walking distance. You did not need to stay in hotel and eat all the time. On weekend, there even a street market (like a flea market) outside the cemetery, where you could find a lot of local crafts and souvenirs to purchase. I highly recommend to stay in that hotel. After our cruise, we also had Carlos to arrange all the transfers between cruise terminal, hotel and airport. None of us was able to speak Spanish. We were happy to have somebody local and accompanied with us all the time. All guides were fluent in English. A peace of mind in a foreign place where we could not even read any signs. Carlos were very responsive through emails and WhatsApp. He tried to solve any problems we faced. We are well satisfied of his and all the guides services.
We booked a pre-cruise 5 day package with Carlos and team and couldn't be happier. Carlos responded quickly to every email and altered the itinerary with our every request, once we confirmed and booked we never had another worry. Everything ran so smoothly, from the pickup at the airport, the hotel choices, the tours, to the transport to the cruise terminal.
Magui at IguazuFalls.com was wonderful to work with. We learned about Puerta Iguazu and wanted to go and Magui was able to make all the arrangements (airfare, transfers, hotel, and tour of falls) within a couple of days! I emailed them on Sunday and we were flying to Iguazu on Friday. It was a wonderful trip and would not have been possible without her help. She was willing to make all the changes and additions we wanted so that we were able to personalize our trip. Payment was made through PayPal so my husband and I felt very confident about paying everything in advance. She always checked in first to make sure before she booked anything that it was exactly what we wanted. And what I really appreciated is that we don't speak Spanish and her English was excellent so communication was very easy. She was very responsive and answered all the questions I had as well.
I wanted to plan a trip of a life time as a central part of our cruise to Anartica. I wanted us to visit IGUAZU FALLS and see a bit of Buenos Aires. After some internet research I found Carlos Tinca and asked for a quote. Carlos provide a very reasonable quote that met our needs. He also asked if we needed help with any other plans. Not being familiar I outlined to Carlos our time line from arrival in Buenos Aires. Not knowing what else we may be interested in or what else there was to do I let Carlos suggest several options. After corresponding via several emails we settled on an itenerary. This turned out to be a trip of a lifetime, and when there was a problem, Carlos and his team were always available and had a solution for everything. There was no problem they could not resolve even though the problem were not of there making, Carlos and his team went beyond their responsibility to make everything right. The tour of Buenos Aires was exactly what was promised; and the Tango Dinner / Wine tasting was amazing. The meal and Tango performance were more than we expected, and definitely beyond anything we could have come up with on our own. As for our trip to the Falls, everything from the transportation, the hotel to the trip to the falls, everything could not have gone better All this is to say, if we were to visit South America again, I would not hesitate to contact Carlos again, he and his team are the best I have ever worked with.
We were a party of 6 and had a great time with our driver and guide. Much easier having someone do all the running around for tickets and putting us in front of the queues. Cost was good as well.
Fantastic experience! Superbly organised, and well planned. Informative, friendly guides. Excellent hotel (Panoramic Grand). But the Falls... paradise! Took my breath away. Saw a toucan; caiman; butterflies the size of my hand; an iguana; a snail kite... wonderful. Highly recommended. Also the boat ride was fun!
We used this company for both a small group tour on the Argentina side and a private tour on the Brazil side, and they excelled at both! The small group tour consisted of me & my husband and another couple. Our guide, Karina, did a great job of finding out what each of us wanted/expected and tailored the experience so that all of us were fully satisfied! We road the tram, walked each of the circuits, and took the boat ride up the river & beneath the falls. She was pleasant and knowledgeable about the history of the falls & the wildlife we encountered. We really enjoyed the entire experience! For our second partial day, we had a *very* tight schedule, but we wanted to visit the Brazil side, so we inquired about a private tour. This company and, in particular, Carlos Tinca, really delivered!! We told Carlos our needs & he arranged everything with seeming ease. Our guide, Freddy, arrived promptly at 8:00 AM to pick us up at our hotel in Argentina, drive us over the border into Brazil, and ensure we were at the park at 9:00, when it opened. Freddy drove us into the park (which has driving restrictions), and stayed with our bags while we walked the circuit. Freddy discussed with us how long we could stay on the paths to meet the schedule we had requested, and he was waiting for us at the end at the time we had agreed upon. Freddy then drove us back across the border into Argentina, making sure we were at the airport by 1:30 PM to catch our flight back to Buenos Aires. Freddy knew precisely how long it would take us to get from point-to-point, including the two border crossings, and he was careful to monitor the time. We would not have been able to visit and enjoy the Brazil side of Iguazu Falls if not for the planning & coordination of Carlos & the outstanding implementation of Freddy. Thank you!! For both tours, we received confirmation emails when we booked & contact emails in the days before our tours. We felt comfortable & confident every step of the way. I would highly recommend this company and Carlos, in particular, to anyone without reservation.
An excellent experience for us. The service provided by Magui Jones as our contact with IguazuFalls.com was just fantastic. Our original plans were sent into disarray by the French air traffic controllers strike (!!!) meaning a late arrival from Europe into Buenos Aires. Magui responded very efficiently by reorganising our tour of both the Brazilian and Argentinian side of the falls to ensure we got the best experience possible. She managed to save us a lot of money on cancellation, which was promptly credited back to us. Our guide in Iguazu, Guillerme (sorry if my spelling is incorrect) was first rate. He combined organisation with knowledge and good humour. An excellent driver, Julio rounded off the package. I would recommend this organisation to anyone.
Very Impressive tour with a knowledgeable staff.
Our day trip from Buenos Aires to Iguazú Falls was amazing. Carlos coordinated everything And his communication was excellent. Our guide Diego was excellent, very knowledgeable and ensured our needs were met. the Falls were phenomenal. The jungle trip and boat ride was the highlight, it is good to take a change of clothing. Highly recommend doing this day trip.
Our day trip from Buenos Aires to Iguazú Falls was amazing. Carlos coordinated everything very nicely. Our guide was amazing and the Falls were phenomenal!! There is a lot of walking my sister and I put on about 15 miles!! The jungle trip and boat ride were the highlight!! Don’t miss the Milia Hotel. The views are spectacular! Thanks again to Carlos!!
It is an amazing cost/benefit to pay for the private tour, it allowed us to choose the timing for every track and the guide was super knowledgeable about the area.
Absolutely a five star experience. You can have confidence in Carlos with Iguazu Falls. Responsive and informative. They deliver what is promised. On one occasion we were upgraded to a superior room. Always prompt and personal. Drivers were safe and guides spoke excellent English. My husband and I have traveled the world... not always do we have these results when working with companies outside of the US. I would highly recommend this agency. Ask for Carlos!
Carlos Tinca from Iguazufalls.com did a perfect job in taking care of our travel arrangements from pick up at the cruise terminal, to transfers to the B.A. airport, to our flight to Iguazu, to transfer to our hotel in Puerto Iguazu, to a moonlit walk to the Devils Throat which he suggested, to tours of both sides of the falls the next two days, to transfer to the airport, flight back to B.A. transfer to the hotel in B.A., to a gaucho tour to Estancia Santa Suzanna which was great, to transfer to the B.A. Airport. Carlos was always quick to answer our emails and reconfirm all details. He handled our trip professionally and efficiently and we are very appreciative of his good service which made our post cruise time in Argentina run smoothly.
Terrific tour of the Argentina side of Iguazu Falls. Booked it a few days before we got there and they were able to accommodate us which was greatly appreciated! They were prompt in picking us up from the hotel. Our tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. The water level for the boat ride was low when we were there so it was questionable if we would be able to do the boat ride, our tour guide made sure to check in and change our schedule so we could go on the boat.
