Aug 11,2023My husband and I decided that we would look into getting Wills Power of Attorney and protection of our home. Ilawsscotland was recommended to me by my sister. I telephoned them to enquire, and an appointment was made for us. Neil Jones came out to our home as my husband is housebound, the service he provided was excellent, making the process easy to understand and giving clear guidelines on the time frame for completion of the process. We have already recommend Neil and I Laws Scotland to my two friends.

That lawyers have advised me that this is not true, they also have an employee who is allegedly off long term sick, however people are posting on here that this person is resolving their issues, so someone is telling lies ?

Aug 01,2023Shocking company - I have read some of the previous reviews and would be doubtful over some of them. My friend registered with them in April 2023, still has not been sorted out, and recently she received someone else's Power of Attorney Documents under her address but with the other persons name....

May 17,2023Mr Jones arrived on time, He was very pleasent to deal with. He answered any questions we had very clearly and easy to understand. We were applying for power of attorney. I would recommend this firm to anyone requiring the help of solicitors.

Feb 25,2023My grandad used your company to set up a Power of attorney as he has issues with mobility and early signs of dementia. I was dealing with most of his affairs, with his permission, but sometimes it was really difficult and it caused my grandad confusion and distress. We got the Power of attorney sorted and its made life 10 x easier as I can now take more control without affecting my grandad and ensure everything’s in order for him without putting him through the unnecessary stress to complete simple enquiries. The lady we dealt with was patient and really friendly and the communication was clear at the appointment and also any time I’ve dealt with the company after the initial meeting. Would recommend to anyone who has a family member or loved one who need assistance with general finances and help if they cant get out and about themselves.

After a home visit by a representative from IIlawsscotland at which time the procedure for the setting up of new Wills, Power of Attorney and Estate management were clearly explained my wife and I decided to act on the advice given and are now in possession of all the relevant documentation which has set our minds at rest regarding the future with its financial implications for the family. Throughout the setting up of the various documents we were constantly updated as to the progress being made by various members of staff who couldn’t have been more helpful . I have had no hesitation in recommending IILaws to family and friends and will certainly use them again if the need arises.

We visited new office in Clarkston and everything was explained clearly and efficiently by Elaine. We live in Highland and papers and forms were delivered quickly, any questions were answered with one quick phone call. We would recommend this company and have already done so ( even to the Dr who signed POA!). Many thanks to a most friendly and professional staff, this has given us great peace of mind.

Oct 26,2022I had dealt with these guys in setting up a will but i took a call out the blue from them telling me how they could increase my pension savings by 10% every year. Long story short i took up their offer and transferred over £54,000 for them to invest in a program which turned out to be a scam and i lost everything. I tried all i could to recoup the money but that's nearly ten years now and i've received nothing back. Financial Ombudsman informed me that ILAWs were never liecensed to provide pension advice in the first place. You have been warned.

Aug 16,2022I was disappointed in the service we recieved from this company. The POA was problematic. I was advised that our GP could conduct an interview, sign off that my husband new what he was signing and witness his signature. They refused to get involved. When I contacted Ilaws there were delays getting a solution in place. However when I contacted them again they offered a complete refund as compensation and an apology for the problems encountered.which I accepted Thank you

Nov 23,2023Neil came out to my dad's house today and explained the full POA process, timescales etc. and answered all our questions. Initial meet was quick, clear and concise thanks to Neil's management of the discussion. Put my dad at ease which was good and helped explain the purpose of POA. Better than expected experience, well done.
