Jun 21,2024Inspired Overland has far exceeded my expectations. I had already owned their standard roof tent for a while and decided to get their rear control arm links for my 4Runner. The initial order was shipped within a week, but upon arrival, I noticed a piece was missing. After contacting IO (on a weekend) I was told that everything would be taken care of the following Monday. As promised, they replaced the parts and shipped everything 2nd day express to ensure I could make my up coming trip! No other company has stepped up like this, ever! They were prompt, professional and extremely willing to make the order right. Thank you!

Jun 16,2024Had a little trouble with shipping but that was in no part due to IO. So far this tent has been amazing. I’m looking forward to spending a lot of time in it. The price is right, the weight is right and the quality is excellent. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday gift to myself. I recommend it to everyone. The only change I would make is the rails that mount to the cross bars run the full length.

Jun 02,2024The brand new tenth I purchased had stains all over the inside of the roof. I text one of the owners and he was out of the country. He instructed me to call customer service. So I left them a voice message about the situation almost 2 weeks ago now and still no call back. Not a good experience at all. Very dissatisfied. Very unhappy customer.

May 30,2024Amazing communication during the order process. The tent is fabulous and I can't wait to give it a try. The only info I didn't see was the distance between the cross beams which shouldn't be an issue with 95% of the cars. It's about 33" by the way. But I needed a different roof system wide enough to accommodate. Once installed putting the tent on was a breeze.

Apr 20,2024I’m still waiting for my tent. Therefore, this review is about my experience ordering a tent. It has been great! There is timely feedback and they’ve done a good job with providing updates. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is they removed Dallas as an option for pickup requiring me to pay more to cover shipping. Otherwise, I like the company so far. The jury is out on the quality of the tent. It looks like a very nice design and I can’t wait to put it through its paces.

A hiccup occurred with shipping and it was nothing huge but let me tell you I felt like the most important chick ever with how these guys went above and beyond to handle the situation and do right by the customer. Especially since the situation wasn’t even something they could control but that didn’t stop them from making it right. So, if you want quality, confidence and greatness here’s your pick. If you want mediocre go to Amazon (you’ll be disappointed).

Apr 01,2024Love the tent, is over 100lbs lighter than my other one. It with stood the rain, and a wind storm @30mph. Even didn't feel too bad in the unexpected cold weather that passed thru 30⁰ there was frost on top of tent. I have no complaints. I'm 6'1" and I would say it was perfect my feet did touch the corner, however I do have a sea2summit air mattress which is 3" of not for that I don't think I would touch. And the tent is so light weight that it can be taken on and off by myself. Funny thing I had bought a Colorado 4x4 tent that I thought was well made as far as materials. This tent puts that tent to shame. The inspired tent has better zippers, rain gutter system, outside material, and when inside is nice and dark even in the day time. Love it

Mar 18,2024I spent a lot of time researching rooftop tents and had a good chunk of that time wasted by Inspired Overland's misrepresented shipping rates. They were quick to reach out about shipping costing almost double the $350 rate listed ($620), but were not very helpful about anything after that (and had already promptly charged my credit card...). When I called to chat I left several messages before reaching a person. They hadn't read my emailed response for an entire business day and were more concerned with setting me straight on shipping costs than making things right. Everything came across as very unprofessional and fly-by-night, and I'm ultimately glad to have learned to avoid products from Inspired Overland. Wish I hadn't wasted the time, though.

Mar 13,2024I'm running this tent on a 2023 crv and man it's pretty solid. I drove to Dallas to pick up and install. No issues with the tent. Overall with the standard if your about 5’11 you will definitely want the XL size but for my vehicle standard was the only option for me which doesn't bother me. Slept well with 2 people in the tent! Quality is amazing!

Jun 21,2024I watched a slew of YT Videos on RTT's but kept coming back to Inspired Overland for two main reasons. First, was the weight of the tent and second was the value. Now that I have the tent, I can add a third and that is serice after the sale. A BIG kudo's to Joey for answering a bunch of questions and giving suggestions when I ran into some minor mounting issues. Although I haven't been out camping yet, I'm looking forward to my first trip in a few weeks.
