Mar 03,2024I was on vacation in the California desert. I had no service and didn’t receive the email about the payoff for the rtt. By the time I had service again, I received a 2nd email and only had a couple of days left to pay the balance. Some advanced notice would have been great. I thought final payment was due at pickup. I never had any correspondence otherwise. Communication goes a long way.

Jan 20,2024My tent got delivered within a week after I ordered it on a Friday. However the shipping company damaged it. I reached out to customer support and they asked for pictures, filed a claim against the carrier, and about 2 weeks after that they sent me a brand new tent free of charge. Even told me to keep the damaged one. The damage was so minimal but still not up to Inspired Overlands standards. While it may have costed more for them to pay to have it sent back, they told me to keep it which I ended up giving the other a to friend. Customer service is great even though it might be a little slow to respond. The tent is great. I had to replace the mattress because I am a side sleeping and 1-2 inches of foam wasn’t cutting it. The zipper is great, the tent is easy to setup. The rain fly could use some more engineering love but overall works. This thing has been mounted to my 4Runner and gone through 2 rounds of hurricane winds(60-70mph) on top of me going 50-60 mph. The mounts are solid but the frame shakes. As long as you don’t look through the sunroof at the tent while going fast, you have nothing to worry about.

Sep 18,2023As a product the RTT is great and as expected. Recommendation on my end, I opted for the Local Pickup, and this is where the experience was a bit choppy. When I arrived, I did not realize I would be picking out at a local shipping warehouse (Not Inspired Overland). The Invoice Number was needed to pickup the order which was buried in my emails in an email that had a ton of other details which made it hard to find on my phone. The warehouse itself was not easy to find given it was surrounded by a bunch of other warehouses (Which makes sense), but it's not labeled well like other Commercial Properties. I arrived near closing since that was the only time I could make, which is what made fishing for all this information stressful. In short, I think more explicit instructions about what information needed on the day of. Like an quick email reminder of the main information that would be needed, and clear instructions / pictures of what the Warehouses look like so it is easy to find.

Love the fact that it's very low profile and lightweight, great design but wished that they would add a rain fly to both sides for those rainy days. Set up time is so quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this tent to anyone who is on the go alot.

Aug 24,2023Didn’t receive a tracking within “5-7 business days” then got an email saying there is a delay on freight. Haven’t received the tent yet so i can’t comment on quality. Hoping i don’t have to wait another two weeks to get an update. Most likely will request a refund.

Aug 20,2023(Instagram - @TR5_4rnr) Inspired Overland has been a martyr in breakthrough-innovation. They’ve done the things that not many have done in the overland industry. Let’s start with a few things that I’ve purchased from them and used: Their ultra lightweight roof top tent. The proof is in the name; that tent weighs 87lbs. I lifted it into my 4Runner by myself and fastened it down in minutes. It’s light, aesthetically pleasing and darn comfortable. Oh, and AFFORDABLE. Their upper controls arms - these things are legit. They allowed me to align my front wheels with perfect camber and caster. I was running a dobinsons set before and always ended up with -1 camber on each side. The CNC machining on these arms is incredible. Matte black and silver was a nice touch. Their adjustable coilover lift kit with remote reservoirs - AWESOME. I installed everything I’ve bought from them with basic hand tools in my driveway. Everything was straight forward. Now, getting the coilovers adjusted perfectly to the correct height was done by an outstanding Toyota/offroad shop as well as a proper alignment. I have bombed this 4Runner through some rough, hot Texas terrain and it’s eaten up the trails like breakfast. The reservoirs come with a 21 position adjustment knob and it WORKS. I leave it on the highest (stiffest) setting for daily community and highway driving and it stays planted on the road at 82-85mph. The lowest (softest) setting, well, it’s soft. It felt like there was a sponge made from a Cadillac’s back seat in the springs. Soft. I spent about 2 years researching suspension kits and finally pulled the trigger on inspired overland. I talked to Ferdinand, talked to his other employees through Instagram and they all squared me away with everything I needed. Oh and their adjustable rear track (pan hard) bar.. super easy install. Double threaded for easy adjustments. It’s a simple part and does everything it needs to do. Between the clear, responsive communication and their amazing customer service, inspired overland has been the best company to do business with. I can’t emphasize this enough, GIVE THEM A SHOT!
