Mar 23,2023Short story: Inspired Overland’s customer service leaves much to be desired. Longer story: I contacted customer service because a friend informed me after purchase that the IO rooftop tent would overhang my vehicle’s roof, making it impossible to fully open the tailgate. I emailed IO’s customer service: “Do you recommend the tent for a vehicle* that size? And if not, can I cancel my order?” (*Vehicle referring to my Crosstrek) IO’s reply: “Hi Katie. Let us know if you’d like to cancel your order. Thank you.” That’s their entire response. ZERO mention of fit, dimensions, or compatibility with my car. I sent back, “If the tent isn’t compatible with my Crosstrek, then yes, I’d like to cancel the order.” This exchange occurred on the date of purchase, 3/8. By 3/21, I had not heard back from the company, so I reached out again. I was told the tent is already on its way, and there’s nothing they can do about it, nor were they willing to work with me on a resolution.

Feb 28,2023I experienced a manufacturing defect with my first tent. Customer service was very apologetic and considerate. They provided a remedy extremely fast and explained the issue. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 5 stars for a great product and 5 stars for taking care of your customers. Inspired Overland has gone above and beyond to ensure my experience with purchasing a RTT went smoothly. The whole process from ordering to delivery was communicated clearly and timely. They provide assistance if there was any issue with shipment and will work with you to ensure your tent arrives with no issues or delay. These guys are awesome. If you guys are in the bay, go check out their office and community meet ups!

In the past i’ve ran Dirt logic for my builds, but i stumbled across Inspired around the time i bought my new Taco and decided to give it a try and i’m sure glad i did! Anywhere from off-roading to highway use to towing, their coilovers and rear resis have really impressed me, the 21 way resis is amazing, i could spend all day just playing around with it. As well as their customer service being as good as they come from the time i bought my suspension to this day they’ve always gotten back to me within the hour even late at night. Inspired Overland has definitely won me over and i can’t wait to continue supporting their products and company, can’t wait to get the RTT next!

Feb 25,2023Overall 10/10 Installation is easy with brackets provided. Setup and deployment is fast. The tent is extremely light and manageable. Stayed dry in a winter storm 60mph plus winds. Thick material for winter and opens up to large screen windows for the warmer weather. Stoked for sure on this tent upgrade from my other tents.

Feb 12,2023The overall design and lightweight aspect of the tent has been an awesome experience. The customer service and response from their team to all questions have been extremely fast as well. What I enjoy the most about this tent is the versatility of being able to mount and unmount from your vehicle within 10-20 minutes max! I definitely recommend this tent as again not only is it completely slimline but lightweight and durable as well.

Jan 27,2023Picked up the tent in the spring of 2022. As an Eagle Scout and avid outdoorsman who travels between various Airgun events/competitions I have spent 1 or 2 nights sleeping in a tent. I will also say that sleeping on a foam mattress, above the ground with plenty of screens for air to pass through gets a huge thumbs up from me. The look is right, the price is right and the comfort is just right. What else would you want? Thanks for a great product.

Jan 26,2023I currently own a Lexus GX470 and I always thought of purchasing a RTT. I have 2 little kids and traveling outdoor is been my main thing without having to setup a generic tent. Luckily, I stumble upon inspired overland. I have been communicating with the owner back and forth and he answer all of my questions. One thing I really like about this tent is that it is super light and it’s so easy to open/closed. Meaning more time for off-roading.

Jan 26,2023Coming from a soft-shell fold out style RTT, i got used to the 10min it would take to climb all over the rig to deploy and collapse a RTT. With the IO tent, I smile each time i get to open or close it, because it's just so easy and fast! Also, having a FJ Cruiser, i cannot afford to carry around 200lbs on top of the rig, so upgrading to this 87lb tent got me from 9mpg to 13mpg! All this on top of better balance on the trails, this purchase is a no brainer! Thanks for creating a bomb proof tent Inspired Overland!

Jan 25,2023Amazing rooftop tent! Having a tent this light is great for keeping my mpg high on my RAV4 hybrid and is roomy enough for two adults and a toddler. Absolutely love that it opens all the way on 3 sides if you choose to soak in the surroundings. Super easy setup and packing down which is useful so you can be on the go and not confined to your camping basecamp. At only 4 inches of height allows me to place the car in the garage with the tent still on. Would absolutely recommend!!
