I was alerted to this company via a friend as Bolton council were doing a scheme in conjunction with the energy companies to help people with health problems ( copd) and other health problems. They would insulate the loft and and put thermostats on the radiators, happy because it was free! Our loft is half boarded and the survey said they would lift the boards in the half boarded loft and fit the the insulation underneath. Well that didn’t happen and they just threw the insulation over the top of the boards making the loft unsafe. We can’t store anything up there now as you don’t know we’re the ends of the boards are , making it unusable.I’m still in touch with them hoping they are going to sort it out. No luck so far! Bolton council you need to read these reviews and clamp down on them.

Had the wall insulation carried out which was fab although I was told it would take 4 days it took near enough 2 weeks to complete due to lack of materials and the guys messaging me at 2:30am to inform me they wouldn’t be attending that day. I have then had the walls painted it’s and ok job I have noticed a wall has been missed I’ve called 4 times chasing and a text sent yesterday to be told that the painter doesn’t have availability at the min (which is fine but why didn’t someone inform me instead of chasing again) then last night to top it off I received a call from the installer 8 weeks after job has been completed to say they need to come back and redo I informed him that no this will not be happening I’ve had to have new blinds as my old ones no longer fit and I’m having some decorating done, 2 mins later I receive a what’s app from the installer who said that he won’t be paid unless they come back and re do my wall. Again I said no my house has been upside down for weeks it took 3 weeks for the rubbish to be collected (again chasing) to then receive a “phone call” from a surveyor who was not professional at all and said he was “pissed off to” I shall be ringing again Monday to inform that I want to log a formal complaint and will NOT be having anyone back at my house.

Bilal & Gabriel came to install a new boiler, nothing was too much trouble for them, very helpful and hardworking, they went above and beyond to make sure the job was done efficiently and left my house very tidy. Would definitely recommend these 2 guys for any work. Thanks again Sheila Smedley

Cavity Wall insulation - completed well. Although I was unhappy with the survey process (due to photos of the inside of my house being necessary apparently, but which I felt was an invasion of privacy) and then 6 weeks to wait for the actual installation, the crews who did the job (installers, electrician, roofers) were professional, positive and friendly. For 5 stars, I think the installers need to use suction to clear up the mortar and the blown fibres, rather than washing it all off with a hose ! Also email and text reminders would be beneficial for all of the necessary work. I am sure though that I have immediately felt the benefit of this insulation with the house retaining warmth for longer. And it’s about time I got something for nothing from HM Govt :)

I had Mohammed Bilal (Birmingham Team) to fit me a new boiler. I have to say, absolutely fantastic service. Not only very professional but also very friendly and went out of his way to be helpful. I am never one to write reviews but very pleased and happy definitely recommend him

My boiler was installed by a helpful team of three who went the extra mile. Unfortunately my Hive, Alexa and home auto routines won't work with the new thermostat which has no app (really) but apparently i can put my Hive thermostat back, it's a simple job, np.

I enquired about a free boiler grant. A representative (Owen Oxley) came out to see me and was very professional. He explained the whole process and said that I qualified for not only a boiler but loft insulation, extraction, trickle vents and new radiator valves. Within two weeks, the loft insulation and vents were installed, and a week later, the boiler went in. Mohammad Bilal and his team did a fantastic install. I cant recommend this company, and the employees I dealt with highly enough.

9 Thoresby close Mohammad Bilal and his team from Birmingham have done an Excellent Job clean and tidy work very happy with the team that came. explained in detail how boiler and controls work. And all rubbish removed from site highly recommended 5 stars to Mohammad Bilal

The service I received from this company was AMAZING! They explain everything in detail and let you know exactly how work will be completed. They attended at the time that was agreed and were absolutely sweet. I'm so happy that they delivered what they promised. I would definitely recommend using this company.

Was skeptical after reading the reviews and we had a slight delay in getting installed, however, the service was excellent and the continual communication was appreciated. The install itself went smoothly, and the guys were very professional.

I was waiting for them to change our boiler but until now not been done yet keep in calling them and they always say they will call back but until now i did not received any call from them they said it was been done but why should i be calling them if it is done? Keep on waiting and calling them they do not even bothered to make an action about it

We have read some of the negative reviews about Intueco but have to say we were lucky to have dealt with Kim in the first instance, who was was helpful and gave us as much information & help about the whole process as possible. The sub- contractor who came to fit the boiler was professional and did an excellent job also explaining as he went along. After putting in a12 hour day when Bilal & Gabriel left we were impressed by the clean & tidy job they had done, so we have had a positive result & no complaints.

My parents were persuaded to let IntuEco do a free boiler upgrade. Ever since the whole process has been a disaster. They tried to cancel the installation several days ahead of schedule due to ill health but a team turned up anyway and pressed on. The installation itself has been a shambles and I've been trying to get IntuEco to talk to me about the problems ever since. They do not return my calls or answer my emails. Their subcontractor called me to discuss the complaint and was verbally abusive - but even that went unchecked by IntuEco who appear to take no responsibility for their subcontractors. The whole premise of these grants is to support vulnerable people - IntuEco have a massive duty of care - but they don't appear to care at all. My parents will have no choice but to pay a professional heating engineer to rectify the mess their home has been left in. Their confidence has been shot. I can see IntuEco get mixed reviews - but please don't take the risk of them assigning you an appalling contractor - because if all doesn't go well they will never communicate with you, let alone resolve the issue.

I was approached by someone cold calling and was initially wary, so checked out his claim that I would be eligible for cavity wall insulation due to the council tax band of my house. Surprisingly it looked legitimate under a government funding initiative. I agreed to a survey and was assured that no work would be started on the survey, it was just to see if my property was suitable. I was also told that once work began I would be liable for any costs if I changed my mind and did not have the work completed. When the survey was booked I was told that work would be started the same day! Trickle vents would be fitted in my windows and possibly if considered necessary, extractor vents fitted in my kitchen and bathroom. When I queried this because I hadn’t at this point agreed to have any work done yet and couldn’t until I’d spoken with the surveyor, they said that they would have to discuss this with their manager. I later received a phone call saying that no work would be begun on the survey. On the day of the survey, I received another phone call informing me that unfortunately the surveyor was having car trouble and would not be able to make the appointment. I was assured that I would be contacted to arrange another appointment. Needless to say this has not happened. I do not like cold calling but thought it was my chance to do something useful in regards to global warming and support a good government initiative. But I realise that all Intueco are interested in is tying people into work they have not agreed to and would have to pay for if they didn’t go through to completion, presumably so they can claim the money from the government. I do not think that they are entitled to decide who needs the work done, because they can’t strong arm you into a situation where you have no choice. I personally would not let them near my house now and feel like I’ve had a lucky escape because it is clear to me that they are only interested in the government money, not their customers, whose taxes have made this possible in the first place.

The first time 2 people from this company came to my door was in June 2024. They said I was entitled to cavity walls and loft insulation and were so eager for me to sign up. They even asked me for my land registry documents as proof of ownership which I refused. I don’t remember their names. Anyway, after they sent someone to carry out a survey they said they would be in touch. However, they never got back to me so I kept calling them. I spoke to a guy named Reece and a woman named Sarah every time who promised a call back and email. Eventually Sarah Green sent an email which looked like it was composed by a 5 year old. After complaining several times they booked us in for an “installation”. The day they came on 2 September 2024 they told us we do not have cavity walls. So why did they arrange an installation if they did a survey to begin with? Why did they not say no at the beginning. It’s because they claimed the money from the government so they could scam me. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with and I am warning other home owners. The most unprofessional company ever. Oh and Craig, I am still waiting for your call back about my complaint!

I had loft insulation installed, fans and LED covers in my loft. Also I had a new boiler fitted. The experience was good and all of the workers worked really well , tidy and courteous. They explained the whole process.

A woman came round and said has I had a old boiler I would qualify for a free government grant boiler then she offered me £50 pounds if I would get other people who had a old boiler to sign up with her. She then passed me on to smartsense Birmingham. Please do not use this company they have destroyed my property. They came round to a look and l told them I had old pipes but they said it was fine so l went ahead big mistake. They have caused leaks from the radiators leaks under the kitchen pipes l have had to replace the bathroom and kitchen tapes and pipework l had a flooded toilet and had to have the bathroom ripped apart to dry it up from all the leaks I went to the citizens advice bureau and they tried to contact them but they won't respond to me all them they just take the thousands of pounds from the government and leave you in a mess .we contacted trading standards and because you got it free you have no rights and the company know this I'm still going after this company for compensation and will take them to the small claims court. Please before you let's this company in to your house look on the reviews of this company on trustpilot smartsense Birmingham I'm not the only one they have caused up most distressed to and left people with damaged properties and no money to put it right.

From start to finish .I have been treated with respect.offered help.initial call person was so so polite.friendly.very helpful.explained in great deal .the person who came and measured and checked was also the same.the people who did the wall cavity were polite at all times.cleaned up as well.amazing company and work ethics.

I have just had a new boiler installed and I am very happy with the end result. There was a delay from survey to installation, but this was explained to me by Kunal Sachdev as purely work distribution and my boiler would definitely be installed. Kunal kept me very well informed at all times and was always available if I had a query. Thank you very much, I would be more than happy to recommend this service.
