May 18,2022My sons team Carlsbad Thunder Rugby went through Irish Rugby Tours. I paid for my sons ticket in 2019. The trip got canceled due to COVID-19. Now Irish Rugby is still refusing to give me my money back and it is now 2022. So for 3 years they have held my money. My son is in college now and is too old for the trip. They said they would give my money back but as of today still nothing. I have emailed them many times and wrote on Facebook. It took almost a year just to get someone to even answer me. But still the same song and dance. They want me to wait for someone to buy a ticket with them before they will refund me. Don't use this tour service. They will scam you out of $$ thousands of dollars.

May 10,2022We had an U15 boys rugby squad of 23 players and 7 adults travel to Barcelona last month with the IRT team. As coaches with previous away trip experiences, we can't rate IRT highly enough. Exceptional service and support from start to finish - a very friendly and fun focused experience. Accommodation and food included were top quality. Loads of great memories - trip of a lifetime for the boys. Many thanks IRT!

May 04,2022Our recent trip to Barcelona with Irish Rugby Tours exceeded my expectations. It was so well managed which ensured that it ran so smoothly. The accommodation was perfect with so much on offer that boredom just never entered into the equation. The lads had an absolute ball. I have already shared my experience with work colleagues who are also involved in their local rugby clubs and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Raymond is a gentleman and an absolute professional. I look forward to our next trip away. We will be on it. Best of luck. Brian & Max.

May 03,2022Finchley RFC U13s tour to Dublin 2022 was an unbelievable trip brilliantly organised by Irish Rugby Tours and expertly guided by the fantastic George Hook the boss who stayed with us the whole time showing great patience and humour. Post covid and with the Ukraine war we had issues pre tour with the hotel being requisioned and the Terenure tournament being reduced from 2 days to 1 but George found us a better hotel and a fixture for the Sunday at Athy. We eon the whole tournament and the match. The coach was always on hand and George was there first thing in the morning till after dinner. Would highly recommend to everyone. Thanks Irish Rugby Tours and George.

Apr 26,2022As with all tours, the organising can be painstaking. Raymond took the pain out it. Patient and diligent. We got exactly what we were looking for in the end. And everything ran to perfection on tour. Our guide Hugo was exceptionally pleasant and organised and really made the trip a pleasurable one. Also the payment platform is extremely convenient. This is my third trip with Hook Tours and we’ll be back again. They are the go to operator for our club.

Apr 26,2022U15 rugby tour to spain was a huge success. The facilities and the timetable were excellent balancing free time, Rugby and other attractions. One thing to be mindful of is that Rugby in europe is on even ages so would be best to bring teams of U14, or U16 to ensure a similiar opposition

Apr 21,2022Irish Rugby Tours went above and beyond ensuring that we would have the greatest time of our lives. The Kansas City Blues were set to tour in March of 2020, the day before we departed COVID shut the world down. George worked tirelessly to keep us up to date on what was happening and our ability to travel. For 2 years George helped us navigate the chaos of the pandemic until finally we were cleared to travel and play rugby in March of 2022. We were greeted by our tour guide Paul in London right when we landed and he was with us the entire trip pulling all the strings to make every detail of the trip superb. We stayed 3 days in Cardiff, 3 days in Galway and 3 days in Dublin. Each city we had great transportation to wherever we needed to go and had beautiful, comfortable accommodation. We had fantastic experiences at each rugby club and all the tourist activities were arranged and organized so well that there was a great balance of free time and scheduled exploring. Irish Rugby Tours is professional, fun, organized, understanding, and gives the absolute best experience that money can buy. The Kansas City Blues will forever cherish the tour George and Irish Rugby Tours planned for us and see Paul as an honorary KC Blue for life. Thank you Irish Rugby Tours for the trip of a lifetime.

Mar 24,2022Such a great experience- I’ve been to Edinburgh before and seen/done some of the things on our tour, but having a group to hang out with and a guide to tell me the extra details, the true stories and the things I was too lazy to truly research was amazing! Our trip to Oban and Glasgow were just as great. Getting the low-down on best pubs, best fish & chips and the place to get some supplies (it was a rugby trip after all) couldn’t be beat. Finding great drivers and a guide was something we could have done, but honestly, knowing that Irish Rugby Tours could do it all for us and guarantee that it was top-notch wasn’t something I have time for. The team at Irish Rugby Tours were responsive to our questions and suggestions and also anticipated our needs before we could think of them.

Mar 18,2022This was our second tour with IRT. They planned an amazing array of both rugby and non-rugby experiences for my collegiate women's side. We had 3 amazing coaching sessions with international coaches, and 3 great games with local teams. Our tour guide made Scottish history and culture come alive, and we saw many historic sites. The tour kept us busy and entertained, and was life-changing for many of my players. George Hook is the most wonderful and communicative fellow to work with, and he makes sure you are 100% taken care of. We're planning on another trip with IRT since both of our tours with them have far exceeded all of our expectations.

Aug 19,2022We just returned from a tour of London, Bristol, and Cardiff. Irish Rugby Tours goes out of their way to make sure everything is planned and organized to keep the stress off of me. This allows me to enjoy the trip not as the coach of the team but as a tourist. Irish Rugby Tours was able to give me everything I asked for and kept it all within the budget I set forth. The tour guide, Ray, was helpful and kept us on pace so we didn't miss anything. He was also able to adjust plans and did his best to adhere to any requests we had. The trainings with local pro teams was an amazing experience for both the girls and me. The coaches kept the practices informational and fun. The sites and tours were spectacular and Irish Rugby Tours even planned some experience I wouldn't even think of, like the river hike North of Cardiff. The Girls loved it so much one even got a tattoo in London commemorating it. The Hotels in Cardiff and Bristol were perfect. The London Hostel may have been the only negative of the trip, but that was of no fault to the tour company. No A/c and record heat in London don't mix. I can't say enough things about how great and easy Irish Rugby Tours is to work with. I look forward to planning our next overseas trip with them in the future.
