Dec 08,2023Getting my screen fixed was made so easy with ismash in Lakeside. I was told the repair would be about 3-4hrs. The last tests took longer than they expected but they called me to keep me up to date which as appreciated. Would definitely recommend

Dec 08,2023Took my iPhone 11 to the Metro Centre branch as I had a smash front screen and my battery was on its way at out. My screen and battery were replaced within an hour and a half. Naf also cleaned my speaker and charger port for no extra charge, and a discounted screen protector. He explained that the iPhone would state the battery is not a genuine Apple one which I expected. The full service cost me £129, compared to the £300+ I was quoted from Apple. Would definitely use these guys again.

Dec 08,2023Great service. Used the “mail in” service to send phone for repair. I messed up the order and told them the wrong phone model so they ordered the wrong screen, wasn’t an issue at all, they sorted the right part and turned it around in a day. Thanks ismash

Dec 06,2023They did a fast and tidy screen replacement but the screen protector they fitted was terrible (finger print sensor was never reliable and touch accuracy was poor). I now know this is common with thicker non-Google certified Pixel 7a screen protectors. They tried to fob me off that it was fine and I was wrong. A later replacement screen protector off eBay works perfectly so it was iSmash's screen protector at fault and they were wrong. Their "they know best" attitude, even when they were wrong, has lost my trust in them.

Dec 06,2023Went online, booked an appointment 40 miles away to have an iPad Pro screen fixed at £255. Arrived on the day at the shop, told that Apple Pencil will not function after the screen repair!!! Had I not mentioned the pencil as they took my iPad they would not have told me!!! Not mentioned before booking or paying a deposit. 1 hour journey there wasted, screen still cracked. Customer services were pretty useless and repeated that this is true, Apple Pencil won’t work with their screen replacements. Said they are working on it! Not helpful, afternoon wasted and as a company they are less than transparent before booking you in. Check, check, check before booking and getting a repair.

Dec 03,2023I required a new iPhone battery so booked an appointment. Easy to book online. The technician Tommy Beard (Sheffield) fully explained the process and asked if there were any other problems. I explained that I had a problem with the phone camera and Tommy said he would look at it. An hour later I collected the phone. New battery plus Tommy had sorted the camera problem and cleaned the phone up. He stated that I was also entitled to a £5 discount. I can honestly say that the service was excellent and Tommy was an excellent representative of ISmash. I have referred others to go there as a result. Thanks

Nov 28,2023iSmash replaced my pixel 7 pro screen with Google's original screen but I can clearly see fingerprint circle/area on the screen. It's visible from few feets away. When I asked, I was told that its normal and I must check with Google. Who can say it's normal to have big circle on the screen.

Nov 28,2023My phone was attempted to be fixed by a child in Kingston store, he then made excuses immediately on the day, told me to come back. If there was an issue, I had to go back four times to get the screen replaced. Eventually, I opted for the OLED screen, but after this was fixed, Other warning signs came up on my phone. I took it to Apple. They said that had been damaged whilst being installed. When I got upset about this, they said that my attitude did not align to their customers, well-being, and their store policies. Basically a bunch of Cowboys and fraudsters hiding behind terms and conditions and the second that you pull them on their bad job they back out of their responsibility Also, having children are untrained and unqualified working there with peoples tech and basically their lives in their hands, which isnt their phone isn’t ideal. They found it amusing

Nov 27,2023Damaged screen of my GP 6 Pro and had to rush to iSmash, Guildford. Called them first to check if they have part as I live a bit far. Got there and the staff was very cordial and helpful. Took my details and advised me on the waiting time. It was all done before the estimated time. I was made aware of what was done, what to expect, etc. It saved my day as the phone was totally unresponsive and we all know what a phone means to us. Thanks for your quality service.

Nov 27,2023Damaged phone screen when changing the battery. Did not check screen before hand and accused me of lying about the damage. Would not recommend this shop. If you do use them, document your phone with photos and videos before using as they will deny responsibility for damage they cause
