Jan 10,2025Excellent guidance and advice from J Coates (HGV servicee).Definitely recommend to everyone thinking about a career in HGV.I did CPC with them as well and was great experience.Had great instructor Louise and all team from J Coates HGV was superb very professional and helpful.

Jan 01,2025Well I’ve just gone from start to finish with J Coates and passed all my CPC and Class 2 with them. They go through everything you need really well and make sure you understand it. I’d like to say thank you to everyone here but mostly the three top guys that helped me get to where I got a couple of weeks ago, Simon, Chris and Ivan thank you. Keep up the good work and maybe see you in the future for my Class 1. Who knows… :)

Dec 14,2024Took my C1 license test in leighton buzzard with chris as the teacher. He was amazing and made me feel so comfortable while driving. As this wasn’t the first time doing this test and feeling extremely nervous this time , he made me feel so confident and went through everything with me while driving. The examiner Ray was also incredible and such a lovely man. Thank you so much guys !

Nov 29,2024I have completed 5 days CPC training with Chris (25th-29th Nov). I wasn't sure if participating in these courses over Zoom would work!, having done all of my previous training in classrooms!. However, Chris presented the courses in a manner which enabled easy interaction between all members of the courses. Well presented with insights and a good dose of humour to ease the tedium !.

Will definitely be using his service and company next year as it was easy to get online an although I had a few technical issues Chris was patient and talked me through it. So I didn't miss out. Nov 26,2024I have just finished a day's CPC Course on Driver Hours and Regulations. What could have been a very long tiring day was very well hosted by Chris Coates. Leading on an 8 hour session, particularly on-line when you can't look into the eyes of the participants and there's very little feedback could have been a very tedious day. But Chris kept enthusiasm throughout and delivered the material in an easy manner which made the day go very well.

Simon my On Road instructor was amazing, took his time explaining the obstacles I’d come up against and how best to tackle they with a trailer attached and the best road position to be in. Andy who did my Off Road reverse and hitch/unhitch training was the same, showed us how to do the manoeuvre properly and how to get out of bad positions Many thanks to the both of them

Nov 12,2024Steve Croft was brilliant when training me up for my C1 test. The way he taught in a relaxed and calm way helped a lot with anxiety of driving a much bigger vehicle. Thank you Steve, especially for your help with a first time pass. Would thoroughly recommend this company. Alec Steer was always super responsive too, especially to the many questions I ask. Nov 08,2024I just passed my driving test today in Leighton Buzzard, I had Chris from Saint Albans with me as my driving lesson trainer, I mean he is an exceptional trainer, all credit for what he does and his way of driving you learn everything you need to know and do to be a good driver... with all that being said I want to thank the members of J.Coates for this experience with them. I will recommend it to everyone who wants to have it better quality, and the best staff. I will definitely come again in the future to do other categories with you... Thank you again and I wish you all happy holidays!
