Without his help, patience and knowledge, this wouldn’t have been possible. May 29,2024Attended a cpc course with Chris last week, very informative and wasn't as painful as the usual courses I've been on, Chris was great and made it easy for all of us by explaining things thoroughly and keeping us going through the day as it's hard to do when you think you know everything your learning but actually don't. 110% recommend Chris and j Coates hgv services, thanks again Chris👍👍

May 24,2024Though I had towing a trailer and caravan experience, still going from a car to class 1 licence was a challenge, passed second time with Roland, the first time we both agreed I was ready, just didn’t quite do it. He put me through my paces, made sure we had covered loads possibilities. Nice humour between us, his experience, knowledge and guidance were superb.

May 20,2024Passed my test first time under Roland's training, really good instructors and even the fire from a couple units down from their main base didn't prevent them from getting my test sorted. Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an HGV/trailer licence.

May 19,2024Chris Fox is a great guy to train with... Chris initially helped me pass class 2 now class 1 As an instructor, it was easy to build a rapport with him right from the start ,even though the nerves kicked in. Excellent technical knowledge and teaching style, if I was having difficulty understanding anything, he would always find a way of adapting the delivery of information which helped me understand throughout the learning process. He did an excellent job of identifying my learning style ,highlighting precisely how I needed to approach learning challenges from a different viewpoint. This was invaluable. He helped me to change my mindset to enjoy and relax during the training , this made a huge difference to my levels of focus and concentration on the road. Chris would always find a way of helping me regain my composure and confidence if the self doubt kicked in. I have trained in several different fields in my working life, and been fortunate to learn from the best. Learning class 2 and 1 to successful completion with Chris has been the most memorable and rewarding learning experience so far. Many thanks Chris for imparting your knowledge and experience. I will see you on another course one day.

May 17,2024Chris trained me and i have to say what an amazing teacher he was he help me improve my driving skills and was always making sure to remind me to check my mirrors. have amazing time leaning the skills to drive a lorry and would highly recommend him to anyone who wishes to learn

For me it was around 25 years ago last did any driver training in a car and motorcycle, this has boosted my confidence on the road with further learning and hazard perception. I thinking about doing another category because of this. thanks again Adam

May 11,2024Had my reversing with Steve Training was with Simon Warm up for my test was with Rowland Can’t not fault these guys , all trained me and saw me through my tests, advising where needed and building confidence for doing our hgv . Thanks to all for your knowledge , Highly recommended !!

May 09,2024Recently had Taff from J Coates provide me with training for my C1 license. He’s an absolute legend! Although we didn’t have long to prepare for the practical examination, he taught me everything I needed to know within a short amount of time and got me a pass with 1 minor! He makes you feel at ease and comforted throughout the entire training. Could not thank him enough, would highly recommend Taff and J Coates for HGV training!
