Jul 30,2022Just passed my test yesterday with J Coates,I was lucky enough to have Wayne as my instructor , He was so pleasant Patient and knowledgeable about all thing driving/ class C-E,loved our chat on our drive and feel much more confident and competent as a driver thanks to his guidance , Would definitely recommended learning with J Coates and specially with Wayne

Under his instruction I have gone from a total novice to passing my hgv test 1st time he is truly brilliant at his job. Super professional and easy going. His little tips worked every time. I would recommend this company to anyone and Simon thanks for everything you have changed mine and my families life.

Jul 27,2022This company we’re great from the beginning, really nice people and priced competitive. The training provided was excellent and on my test day they went the extra mile for me. I passed first time from only ever driving a car. My trainer Simon was a great bloke & made the whole experience less daunting.

Jul 27,2022I cannot thank the HGV driver training centre enough, but especially to Steve Martin and John for the help they gave me along the way. I was worried at first but he made sure everything went as it should and really put my mind at ease. Now I’m so happy a qualified class 1 driver! Thanks again to everyone, great guys and a great service.

Jul 27,2022So today i arrived in Leicester to take my Hgv class 2 test. I was greeted by my excellent driving instructor Simon and off we went for an hours warm up around the test area. I will admit to some nervousness, with this being my second attempt, but I have to say Simon helped enormously with his calmness and encouraging positive attitude. Well I passed ( hooray ) Many thanks to my two extremely knowledgeable instructors Simon and Kev, I wouldn't have done it without you. Neil.

Jul 23,2022Passed my class 1 first go today straight from a car licence, my instructor was Joseph Jeffery and obviously he did a great job, has been fantastic from the start was like spending the week in a truck with a friend rather than an instructor being able to have a laugh and hold a decent conversation helped with nerves a lot. Will definitely recommend j coates to people having had a good experience.

Jul 16,2022Just completed my NRI LGV instructors course with J Coates HGV Services at St Albans. I cannot recommend them highly enough. My instructor Chris was knowledgeable, patient and fair. Chris soon worked out how I learn most effectively and delivered the course as though it had been written just for me. This resulted in a 1st time pass and 1 very happy candidate. Chris has insisted that I get in touch anytime should I need further advice and I aim to take him up on that as and when required. J Coates HGV services get 5 stars and a massive thumbs up from me.

Jul 16,2022I arrived for my Reversing training and was greeted by my instructor Wayne ,who was very helpful from the start of the days training. Once the training started he was superb and very helpful. I am sure if it wasn’t for his encouragement I wouldn’t have passed the reversing, coupling and uncoupling trailer however I did and went on to take HGV class 1. With 4 days training with Christian ,who was again faultless and did his best to make my training enjoyable and more importantly that once again I passed on my first attempt which was due to Christian's outstanding training. I can not fault J Coates HGV Services and recommend them fully if you want to pass on your first attempt ,as I did.

Jul 15,2022I recommend to all who want to pass and gain self-confidence in a short time due to the Rolland Hulls instructor, he explains everything patiently and with full professionalism. I highly recommend this instructor, a great person !
