He was super friendly, very knowledgeable and very supportive and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher! My work booked my training here (st albans) and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Apr 05,2023I was recently put through my Category C by the company I worked for, they chose J Coates. Start to finish was a brilliant experience, my instructor stephen was a brilliant person who has years and years of experience in the trucking industry, he is actually a approved and credited instructor for HGV, which you have to look for as companies are not required to have personnel with this qualification to train students. Stephen’s knowledge in the industry was very evident, his teaching was very calm and very relaxed, but also kept you on your toes and told you where you went wrong, and really ironed it out of you. Trust me if you listen and take it in, the test will feel easier, as the standard he grinds out of you really is that good. First time pass on everything! Jack

Apr 01,2023I have today passed my C+E driving test thanks to Roland Hulls, I started very nervous as I get nervous really easy but was soon settled by Roland who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish constantly reassuring me and making me very comfortable all the way through my training. He made the training experience a pleasure as he was very easy to get on with, very friendly all the way through with lots of knowledge of what was required to successfully pass the test. If you are looking at taking any hgv training Roland is the man you want can’t thank him enough for all his help, guidance and experience, thanks Roland

J Coates lgv driving instructor Rob Pearson...was an excellent training instructor made me feel at ease and confident but also gave me nudge when I needed it...he made my whole week a great experience..can't thank him enough.

Mar 31,20233 things, 1: The reason I gave 5 starts because of my instructor in Melton - Taff. He is very kind, polite and professional person. 2: The examiner in Lecister was Simon. He was very welcoming and professional examiner and he took my CPC Mod 4. 3: In Melton Mobray, the worst examiner I saw was Johny. Everybody gets nervous before the exam and if the examiner smiles and say hello etc it motivates the trainee, however, Johny was awful. He didn't say hello and just show me a picture of reversing test rule and just started that if you do this you will fail. If you do that you will fail etc. It is unacceptable. Johny needs to learn from Simon.

Apr 14,2023I have passed with j coates training services today. MR SHAOAIB MOHAMMED has helped me passed first on c+e time by fine tuning my reoccurring mistakes. I believe he is one of the best instructors as he made me comfortable as I have only driven small cars before.
