Who we are? Khalid’s Kakes is a family run business from Birmingham providing the best custom made wedding cakes, birthday cakes and general cakes across the Uk. We specialise in artisan handmade fondant and buttercream cakes and go above and beyond with our realistic cakes. No cake is too big and no occasion is too small! ​ Our Journey We started selling cakes on the streets of Birmingham by setting up a painters table with a cloth and spoke to everyone passing us by. With our 3 month old daughter sitting on the table we sold all they cakes, cupcakes, sweets and treats on a weekly basis - we eventually become well known and loved and a part of the pavement. After building an initial buzz in the local area and gaining a foundation of loyal clients we grew from strength to strength going on to exhibit in the Uk’s number 1 wedding show and opening a boutique pop-up in Bullring to now having a full blown cake business operating from our purpose built cake factory producing hundreds of cakes a week. ​ Our Aim Is to continue to grow the business and keep producing the best in all things cakes. No cake is too big and no occasion is too small. All cakes are made fresh to order and we pride ourselves on our unique taste and custom designs. All cakes are suitable for a vegetarian diet and special dietary requirements can be catered for.
