Oct 24,2024Honestly I cannot recommend Kate enough, having spent a 10 year career in teaching before making the switch to beauty/facials, her teaching style was nothing short of spectacular! She gets what the learner needs; thorough online training, breaks every step down, pushes you to be the best you can be, lots of opportunities to observe and film so you can refer back, chance to practice whilst she observes, stops, demonstrates and the opportunity to experience it yourself both with her hands and your fellow trainees...just wow! Not to mention the attention to detail at every step, she really does deliver what she promises, it truly is a totally wonderful experience...I didn't want to leave. Having attended a dozen other training courses this was quite literally in a league of its own, I can't thank you enough Kate, if you're thinking of investing in yourself and perfecting your facial then book now without hesitation, I promise you that you won't be disappointed. I love Kate, she’s professional, fun, caring and sooooooo accommodating, her knowledge is beyond. This facial massage is a workout and I felt relaxed, firmed and uplifted all at the same time. I knew I needed her expertise for my business, and now I can confidently say that my only regret is not booking this course sooner. From the moment I signed up, I was guided every step of the way—from the online learning process to what to wear on the day (which was a relief for someone as indecisive as I am) and even where to park at the academy. Kate’s knowledge is phenomenal on so many areas within the industry and she was able to help me with all my questions and really narrow down on what steps I need to take to elevate my business where I want it to go. Kate dives in so deeply into every aspect of building your business and elevating your skill set but what really makes her stand out is how kind, caring and passionate she is on helping you reach your goals. Her advice is so bespoke to you and I have taken so much away from my 2 hour session! I honestly wish it could have been about 12! So glad I did it was very in depth but easy to understand as kate has a lovely way of explaining especially the anatomy side of things which can be so overwhelming. I highly recommend this course and would love to do further training with Kate in the future. For now i will continue to listen to her words of wisdom she kindly shares on her social media which is also a great help ! Thankyou kate so glad to have found you! X

Jul 24,2024I had the most amazing facial with kate at her beautiful academy. Kate made me feel so welcome and at ease. I was greeted straight from my car and welcomed into the space. The room was so cosy and relaxing, it smelt amazing and felt like a real escape from busy city life. We chatted before starting about my lifestyle, stressors and what i wanted to get out of the session, Kate made sure everything was explained. The actual facial was incredible, kate worked mainly on releasing tension in my neck, shoulders and jaw which felt amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and kate went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and i was completely comfortable. I felt totally refreshed and restored after, i was given time to relax and kate gave advice on how i could improve the tension in my jaw. It was the most amazing experience and i am still feeling lighter and restored almost a week later. By far the most incredible facial I have had and the most lovely and welcoming therapist I have met!

Having never trained in facials before, her knowledge, eye for every detail and patience was incredible and I left feeling excited to continue my learning with Kate and implement everything she has taught me. Her continued support outside the training has been second to none and I will definitely be enrolling on the more advanced courses with Kate once I am fully fledged in the basics. When at the academy I also booked a facial with Kate so I could experience the treatment myself and I can honestly say it was hands down the best treatment I have ever experienced. It was so much more than a facial and I left feeling so light and open in my neck area and my skin looked glowing. I will also definitely be back for this treatment even though I am 5 hours drive away

Jul 10,2024This may seem extravagant, but unless you experience what I just experienced, you may not understand!! Just a hop, skip and a jump across the pond from Northern Ireland to the Talk Skin Academy nestled outside Great Bardfield, and I was immersed in the most luxurious facial!! Kate welcomed me with a fresh coffee and a homemade bun/muffin which was well and truly massaged off my chops a little while later!! We sat and talked about everything while she was taking mental notes of why my skin was doing what it was doing due to my lifestyle. That chat explained a lot.....just a chat about life and what mischief was telling it's story on my face. Kate is an absolute skin fairy/octopus (hands everywhere) when it comes to your skin story! You can't but love her endearing personality and quick wit. When I popped on to the bed, Kate made sure I was comfortable. That was an amazing experience in itself. She then went to work on me. Words can't explain how superb it was!! My face is glowing and my stress levels are zero, oh and I now feel like a giraffe!...my neck almost needed it's own appointment!! When my time was up and I had to peel myself off the comfiest bed I've ever encountered, I had to stop and adjust my land legs.....I was walking around in circles due to pure euphoria! Kate's facials are one of a kind and need to be experienced to understand how amazing they really are. If you are ever fortunate enough to get an appointment, grab it with both hands. You won't be disappointed.

As soon as I found Kate's Instagram account, I knew I wanted to learn from her, so I inquired about the B2B program immediately. I don't make decisions lightly—in fact, I often deliberate for weeks—but Kate's passion during her live sessions and the wealth of knowledge she shared made my choice effortless. I knew right away that this was the right decision. The online course content is thorough—probably more detailed than the recent Level 2 facial qualification I completed—easy to digest, and wonderful to have as a reference to look back on. I was fortunate to complete the B2B course one-on-one with Kate. It was incredible, packed with so much knowledge and detail. I initially thought I’d struggle to take it all in, but Kate's wonderful teaching style made everything stick. The attention to detail in every aspect of this course is outstanding. I genuinely can't express how good it is. Kate's got the patience of a saint and the eyes of a hawk, which makes for the most wonderful teacher who wants you to get it right and succeed. Kate’s knowledge not just on how to deliver the most extraordinary game changing facial experience but on the whole client journey is invaluable. Nov 16,2024I have recently completed the b2b course with Kate and it was fantastic! Kate is an absolute pleasure to have as a teacher. She is knowledgable, fun and makes you work hard. You can tell this is her passion and she wants everyone to succeed and be the best therapist they can be. The location and set up of the academy is truly stunning. The first time I went there I was blown away and you can tell her heart and soul has gone into making this space truly unique and perfect. The course was an intense 2 days but I really came away so much more knowledgeable and confident. I subsequently ordered the skin expert consultation course which has also been fantastic and taught me so much. If you are on the fence about attending any of her courses I would highly recommend. Kate is a gem and someone who I know I will continue to follow, do more courses with and learn from. She is unbelievably supportive in every way. Her attention to every detail is second to none and you really do come away feeling inspired and motivated. I now need to do the hard work and put into practice what I have been taught.
