Jun 13,2021This was our belated 40th wedding anniversary from 2020 since when we have had to cancel 3 special occasions. So it was really exciting to be able to get a chef to come to our house and cook and present a special meal for us. The evening went off without a hitch - the best part, apart from the food - was that the washing up and cleaning up were done - everything was left spotless. So a big thank you for making this a memorable evening I would certainly recommend Darren to anyone who lives in East Anglia.

Jun 12,2021Never booked a private chef before. Loved the experience. Easy booking. Chef Elia was a joy to welcome into the home. Very flexible on the menu and made the changes we wanted, including dealing with allergies and diff peoples tastes/preferences. We are still talking about the quality of the cooking and the amazing sauces (who gets excited about peppercorn sauce!?). Great experience that if the wallet allows will try again!!!

Jun 12,2021Elia was excellent. Arrived on time, very professional and delicious food! She even suggested candles for the desert as it was a birthday and managed to find them in our kitchen when I didn’t even know where they were! Would definitely recommend her. Thanks Elia!

Jun 11,2021We had a fantastic birthday meal by chef Gee. He was prompt and extremely attentive and made a wonderful relaxed atmosphere from what was one of the best meals we’ve ever had! He was very understanding around the needs of our 12 week old baby, his timing was flexible and all our requests were catered for. My partner is vegetarian and his menu was sensational, we particularly enjoyed his beetroot dish, it was out of this world delicious! He was extremely professional and careful around our delicately marbled kitchen and he left it completely spotless! We would highly recommend chef gee! Thank you for a wonderful night!

Jun 10,2021From the first contact with Chef Craig to him waving goodbye after the fantastic evening, everything was above my expectations. Discussing the menu options with someone who clearly loves what he does was a joy. When Craig and Riley arrived they were very friendly and put us all at ease immediately. They got straight to work with no fuss. Each course was hot, looked amazing and more importantly tasted out of this world. Craig gave us a quick explanation of what each course was and answered any questions we had. I wasn't sure what it would be like as the dining table was in the kitchen but it was like having friends cook for you! They even washed up and left the place looking cleaner than when they arrived! I would highly advise anyone thinking about the service, and especially Craig, to do it ASAP! Thank you so much to La Belle Assiette and to Craig and Riley, you are now part of our family story. We hope to be able to have you cook for us again soon!

Jun 07,2021What a fantastic evening we had for my friend's hen do! The food was not only presented beautifully but was also absolutely delicious. Romuald was polite, on time, fun to have around and left the kitchen spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to book Romuald again!

Jun 06,2021Romuald was the perfect chef for our end of lockdown celebrations. Throughout the pandemic Romuald was easy to communicate with, understanding the need for us to change plans about four times. The menu he prepared was spot on, really tasty with added little extras like smoked salt that complimented the dishes. We had one vegetarian, who he was happy to accommodate for. He really fitted in our home with ease, chatting away and telling stories while at other times he would sink into the background and almost disappear... he is a kind and welcoming gentleman - we are not surprised he is booked up for the rest of the year. Anyone who has Romuald booked for their occasion will not be disappointed. We'd just like to say thank you once again to Romuald, we had a blast!

Jun 06,2021Right from the outset, la belle assiette have been clear in the communication and always get back to you if they do miss your calls. They are very professional and provide a fantastic service. Our chef Antonio worked with me to produce a bespoke menu for my husband’s 30th birthday . I couldn’t fault any dish, they were all 10/10 and my guests were full of praises. We also had Maria as our waiting staff and she was fab! She ensured there smooth flow of service. I would definitely book with la belle assiette again! Thank you for such a wonderful time!

Jun 13,2021We had the most wonderful experience with La Belle Assiette and chef Romuald Brunelle. We had booked a 4 course dinner party for 8 adults, with canapés to start with. LBA communicated extremely well with me in advance which was a real pleasure. The food was extraordinary and Chef Romuald was simply outstanding: very professional and organised, and also really kind and easy going. The food was simply magnificent, and of excellent quality and quantity. Romuald did a huge amount of work but made everything look and feel relaxed and effortless. And the kitchen was spotless afterwards. It was one of the best food experiences I have had, so thank you very much Romuald and we very much hope to experience your wonderful cooking again.
