I am impressed with the number of accessories and the way they can be used together. With the right combination of accessories, I was able to put together a complete data acquistion and control system without any custom components other than cables. Integration with LabView was straightforward.

Excellent data loggers They are really easy to use, and lots of software options are provided to get started quickly, or do more advanced automation. I love that they even sell OEM versions to integrate into your own test beds.

I appreciated the contact and encouragement your emails provided. As I purchased my device from a local supplier in addition to signing up with LabJack, some of the information came well before the device did. I appreciate the information, FAQs etc. available on the LabJack web site. I also like the way drivers etc. are provided for down-loading.

I use LabJack hardware to make relative simple control instrumentation for research and teaching. The devices are very reliable and long lasting. I'm very happy using them.

Thanks. I'm using my new T4 as a greenhouse controller. Working great! Your docs are outstanding.

Labjacks are a great way to get into automation. We used them extensively for our research to connect to sensors. Thanks to the Python API this is realtively easy and painless.

Hi we never have a problem with the equipment! But we only use as interface never use your software! Regards, Gabriel

Data acquisition is quite unreliable, you have to deal with buffering, delays and even unpacking the data yourself by studying the APIs. For example, if you acquire more than one channel, all your data is still in one array 1xn and you have to turn it into a matrix nchannels x time by yourself. Another example, every time you extract a chunk of data in its buffer you need to query with another call how many samples are still stored in the Labjack buffer and offset the delay by an amount proportional to the leftover samples (whose number varies at every call). It's a nightmare. Engineering projects are quite difficult in themselves without having to re-engineer even the basics such as data acquisition, which is what Labjack should claims to do, reliably and out of the box.

I needed an inexpensive, accurate device to help me develop an analog control and I found the perfect one here. Easy to set up, develop a program and a working prototype in a few weeks. Very happy with the accuracy and ease of use.

My 600$ unit failed and I replaced it by a much simpler and much cheaper solution. A teensy arduino for my data acquisition. Never buying your overpriced stuff again

I was new to LabJack products and not familiar with much of the terminology used. After only a few emails, I had all the information I needed to connect 12 thermocouples up to a T7 using a Mux80 and two CB37 cards. The information available on the web site is very, very helpful, especially the guides. Hardware and software both are great. Email response to my questions were always same day, usually within a few hours. I chatted online once and the person who helped me knew the answers and was very courteous. Overall, I am very satisfied with LabJack.

LabJack offers great products and service and support. A LabJack U12 unit failed some time ago, probably my fault, and it was repaired quickly and returned to me, no questions asked, no charge. You can count on LabJack.

The good: hardware is solid. T7-pro resolution is appreciated. Kipling and LJM are better than expected. Running quadrature encoders is appreciated. Smooth handshake with Visual Studio. The could-be-better: Actual instrumentation amps would be good for strain gages. Still haven't found a list of all the extended function indexes and what they do. Still a little confused how to set up Clock0 to run at a slower frequency.

I've purchased several Labjacks now for use in the laboratory. Their application whitepapers are incredibly useful for speccing and planning. I now have several T4s and T7s measuring thermocouples, pressure gauge readbacks. Their LabView support makes implementation into automated systems very easy. These are an important part of my automation ecosystem that allowed me to stay productive amidst shutdowns in 2020.

I like specs, size, and price. My applications are not allowed to operate U3-HV with suggested third-party software. I do not have the skills to write my program. In my view, many customers will be heapy to operate LabJck products with the most common software, LabView or DasyLab.

Grat products! I bought eight or ten of the lab jack temp/humidity/light data recorders and used them daily for information relating to Radon Gas evaluations. Then they were discontinued... no repairs, no spare parts, just gone. Sad because they were great devices, small and easy to deal with on a daily basis.. now they are all broken and I use another type that is not as nice, and costs four times as much.

I Incorporate the OEM T7 into most of my internal custom equipment for process data collection and automated process stations. It's an excellent alternative to a PLC especially when you can write all of your code in a language you're fluent in (C# for example).

Wonderful products solve a lot of connection, control, and data collection situations. The backbone of many labs.

Built in console window was very convenient to conduct simple analog and digital signal testing. With not a lot of effort using libraries provided, one of our teammates could easily write scripts on Python to test different communication protocols. We used LabJack U6 DAQ for testing our current sensors and LED array PCBs.
